This was my very first experience staying in a actual hostel I’m not going to lie but it was the only place that was actually affordable to me at the time of booking & I paid £185 for 2 nights for me & my daughter now that is not cheap especially for a hostel for just a bunk & nothing else I did have a 4 bed room. It was perfect no loud noise they go out if join you join if you opt out you opt out. Ylke & Manny very friendly.

The other guests were not very friendly at all. They put me off staying in a hostel in the future.

A very cozy atmosphere. I arrived in the city before check-in time, and they allowed me to leave my luggage and use the facilities. There are plenty of activities.

A great hostel, with friendly and cheerful staff, clean bed linen and an excellent location – just 5–10 minutes from the seafront: the beach, shopping centre, cafés and the square.

The staff was really nice and made my solo traveling way easier. Everything is pretty much clean. Even though I had my doubts first I was really comfortable staying in the dorms. The location is perfect and it’s a short walk to the next metro station.

Iba por temas de un festival de música, y me gustó mucho el lugar: - Ambiente agradable y buena atención por parte del personal, sobre todo la buena acogida por parte del chico de recepción (Manuel), que además fue muy atento a ofrecerme la cama de abajo por mi miedo a caer, pero al final no hizo falta, la cama super segura, a parte del estante que hay dentro de tu espacio y, la luz y el interruptor individual de cada cama, a parte del cajón bastante grande para guardar mis cosas. - Sensación del lugar es como de estar por casa, cómodo, vas a tu rollo (respetando la normativa y a los demás) y estás tranquilo, ya que hay sensación de seguridad. - Queda cerca de lugares, que por mi parte hicieron aún mi tempo allí mucho más agradable y con mayor diversión.

El poco tiempo que estuve, no me dio tiempo disfrutarlo más, pero si hay algún otro festival que necesite quedarme a dormir, seguiré eligiendo Onefam Ramblas.

Very social hostel with amazing staff. The atmosphere was super welcoming, and it genuinely felt like being part of a family.

Ilke é a alma do hostel. Ela sabe como receber com um sorriso amigo. Ducha forte com água bem quente. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. A cozinha torna tudo muito prático para quem precisa e gosta de cozinhar. Na minha segunda noite, dormi maravilhosamente bem. O colchão é firme, há dois travesseiros e um cobertor. Tudo com cheirinho de roupa limpa. Nota 10!

L’ostello è pulito e ben organizzato e lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Atmosfera festaiola, ma molto rispetto anche per chi vuole andare a dormire non troppo tardi. Posizione top!

very fun! (especially for party people)

Très bonne ambiance. On se sent tout de suite à la maison. Le staff est très sympa et au petit soin des voyageurs. Il y a des activités gratuites pour faire connaissance avec les autres voyageurs. Tout est très bien organisé. L'ambiance est festive mais en dehors de l'auberge. Le staff demande à tous de ne pas faire de bruit la nuit et les règles sont plutôt bien respectées. Le petit plus : un groupe whatsapp sur lequel sont envoyés des bons plans (ex : où prendre un bon petit-dej), les rappels sur les règles, les informations liées aux activités ...

La moyenne d'âge est plutôt de 20-25 ans et non 18-45 ans. Je conseillerais des séjours de longs dans cette auberge plutôt pour de jeunes voyageurs qui découvrent le voyage en auberge de jeunesse. Pour des trentenaires, cette auberge convient mieux pour 1 ou 2 nuits.

Staff really is great, if you’re young and a solo traveler you will definitely have the best time here. The volunteers also add a LOT to the experience 🤍

L’équipe est au top, ils proposent différentes activités et on peut y participer si on le souhaite ou pas. On peut vraiment aller à son rythme et choisir d’avoir des moments seul ou avec les autres backpackers. Je recommande l’établissement pour la sécurité et la propreté des lieux.

I found the place to be extremely safe. Before staying here, I was a little concerned about whether a travel hostel would be safe for my belongings, but this turned out to be one of the safest places I’ve stayed. A special thanks and appreciation to the reception team for recommending great places to eat and drink. The best part was that they took us to a new club or bar every day, making sure there was always something new to experience and plenty of opportunities to party. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers!

If anyone wants to meet new people, make new friends, and have a great time while travelling, I would definitely recommend Onefam. It’s the perfect place for anyone who enjoys being a party hopper and discovering new places, clubs, and bars with fellow travellers. I would also encourage the hostel management to open more party hostels outside Europe, especially across Asia. I’m sure many travellers would love to experience the Onefam vibe here as well. Wonderful people! I had such a great time with the staff, they were really friendly and helpful! It was a super fun experience with the people I met, and I spent days filled with laughter! They offer plenty of different activities every day, along with delicious food! I’d gladly come back if I can! 🫶🫶

I really liked the location, because it is quite central and it allows you to go to different places from there. The hostel was very friendly and clean. They have so many activities during the week and the staff members are really lovely. It was my first time staying in a hostel and I loved it.

Alle waren super nett und hilfsbereit Es gab jeden Tag ein vielfältiges Programm, beispielsweise vom gemeinsamen Strandbesuch zur Bar in den Club, also es war immer was los und man ist nie allein, wenn man es nicht möchte Die Bäder wurden jeden Morgen gereinigt und es gab extra ein Bad für Frauen Das 4er-Zimmer war ausreichend groß und es gab genug Möglichekiten, um Sachen zu verstauen, aufzuhängen oder abzustellen Die Terrasse im Hinterhof ist relativ groß und ganz gemütlich, dort gibt es auch einen Wäscheständer, um zum Beispiel die Strandtücher aufzuhängen

Meine Matratze war leider schon sehr durchgelegen, die darf also gerne mal getauscht werden Im Bad gibt es zu wenige Ablageflächen

Loved the volunteers—they really made sure everyone felt included! The family dinners were incredible, and the nights out were so much fun. The vibe was amazing, the rooms were clean, and there was an amazing guitar at the hostel!

Zeer sociaal, personeel liet me erg op mijn gemak voelen. Altijd een activiteit voorzien om te socializen! Als ik weer ga solo-travelen verblijf ik opnieuw in Onefam!

I booked a 8 bed dorm but there was another dorm 8 bed room connected to it so had 16 people walking in and out of the room

O melhor staff que ja encontrei e um dos melhores hostels que ja fiquei (pensando no pacote completo). O que eu mais amei foram as regras claras e todos sempre com sorriso no rosto. Os jantares, os utensílios de cozinha, de beleza.. tinham tudoooo!

If you want sleep, eye mask and ear plugs are definitely a must. Also a little hot in the room to begin with but the staff were happy to put the A/C down!

They were incredibly kind and hospitable, everything is clean and well kept, the atmosphere is also wonderful. There are curtains so you have complete privacy, AC, bathrooms are separate from the dorms right next to them. Free dinner!

Todo fue perfecto. La atención y la amabilidad de todo el personal fueron de primera. Manny fue tan lindo que incluso me envió un mensajito y recordó nuestra previa conversación. Ese tipo de detalles hacen que uno se sienta realmente especial como huésped. Lástima que mi estancia fue muy corta, porque el lugar ofrece actividades diarias que me habría encantado disfrutar. Sin duda, volvería. Súper recomendado!!!

The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met — not just in hostels — in my life. They brought out the best in the diverse guests, everyone was respected and I heard not a single complaint in the time I was there.

The property is in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood, with a metro station within walking distance, although it’s not in a particularly tourist-friendly area. The main downside was the pillows, which were very uncomfortable and affected the quality of my sleep. Cleanliness was acceptable but could definitely be improved, as there were a few areas that didn’t feel as clean as expected. Overall, it was an average stay, but there is room for improvement.

L'ambiance générale qui faisait un peu colonie de vacance. L'équipe est super chouette et les projets qu'ils proposent sont supers ! Les locaux sont tops ! C’est bien aménagé donc hyper agréable d'utilisation. L'accueil s'est super bien passée, communication chaleureuse et efficace. Merci aux réceptionniste !

Great guests and energy, really appreciated the fully functioning AC and curtains in the room. My night out with the group was fantastic, and I loved the organization of going from dinner, to in hostel drinking games, to meeting up with the larger Onefam guests across Barcelona, and finally a club. The staff was fantastic, especially Manny, who checked me in and would follow up with me to see how my stay was going.

Dal momento in cui siamo entrati ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. L’accoglienza è stata eccezionale e un ringraziamento speciale va a Ylke, che ci ha fatto il check-in con un sorriso, tanta gentilezza e una simpatia contagiosa. È riuscita a farci sentire i benvenuti fin dal primo minuto. L’ostello è pulitissimo, i letti sono comodi e gli spazi comuni sono curati e perfetti per rilassarsi e conoscere nuove persone. Ma ciò che rende davvero unico il Onefam Ramblas è l’atmosfera: giovane, familiare e piena di energia positiva. Ogni giorno vengono organizzate attività che coinvolgono tutti gli ospiti e rendono facilissimo fare amicizia con persone provenienti da ogni parte del mondo. È il classico posto dove arrivi pensando di avere semplicemente prenotato un letto e riparti con nuovi amici e ricordi bellissimi. Si percepisce quanto lo staff metta passione in quello che fa: non si limitano a gestire un ostello, ma creano un ambiente in cui tutti si sentono accolti e parte di una piccola famiglia. Se tornassimo a Barcellona, non avremmo alcun dubbio su dove soggiornare. Consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia vivere la città, ma anche condividere un’esperienza autentica e conoscere persone fantastiche. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff e, ancora una volta, a Ylke per aver reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile!

Absolutely lovely

Amazing vibes in a unique hostel that really makes you feel like part of a family. The staff was amazing. Ylke, Manny and Maria helped me a lot and we shared beautiful conversations. Everyone was chill, and I got to meet many incredible people from all over the world. I liked how there were daily schedules for partying, there's free dinner every night, and a lot of other organized activities. It feels like I made friends for life in this hostel

That my stay was too short

I was there for only one night and have been in other hostels in Barcelona, but this hostel is the first one I will recommend. Great staff, daily activities, like drinking games, going to party and best of all, free vodka shots.

That I couldn’t stay another night because it was already full.

Great and very friendly staff, they take care of everything you need on request. There's a lot of additional activities going on in this hostel each day and there's a schedule for it which they inform you about. Going out was the best part, all of the people there are eager to get to know you and have some fun. AC works sufficiently well and everything was clean. They give you a short intro tour and necessary info at the check in.

Although the rooms are sound isolated very well, the doors tend to be open sometimes in the morning because not everybody closes them after exit, but of course that's not the staff's fault.

My stay here was INCREDIBLE. Right off the bat, when I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist and we got to chat about my plans during my stay and learn a bit about each other. As a solo traveler, this made me feel welcome and more open to meeting the other guests. The hostel had a planned outing that night with dinner and games at the hostel beforehand, so I went to that and everybody was very eager and open to getting to know each other (especially because there were a lot of other solo travelers). Then when we eventually went out, I ended up connecting with the most incredible people, and we ended up making plans to explore the city together on my next and final day, and we are still keeping in touch today. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're looking to connect with fellow travelers. Not to mention, the staff/ volunteers were absolutely lovely.

Check out felt a bit early after having gone out the night before (although it was 11 AM, which is still a very typical time). And the staff still supported me even after having checked out, letting me use the shower and join them for dinner that night.

Actually, I did not stay there. After making my reservation, I received on What-app a message stating that this is a party hostel and that it is limited to guests 18- 45 years old, and I was asked to confirm some form. I would appreciate it if this information were already clearly written in the description (or maybe I missed it?). So, if you are older than 45, just do not make a reservation. They then gave me a full refund. I then stayed at Sant Jordi Hostels Gracia.

Accoglienza fantastica, incredibilmente gentile, fa venire voglia di tornare a soggiornare qui. Struttura di giovani per giovani. Un'atmosfera deliziosa, consigliatissimo

A acomodação é ótima, camas boas, funcionários sempre simpáticos e atenciosos. As noites de jogos e o pub crow com todo mundo fazem toda diferença, ótimo para conhecer as pessoas e se enturmar.

Só senti falta de poder ligar o ar durante a tarde.

Foi um dos melhores hosteis que já me hospedei nessa vida de viajante. Todos da staff extremamente solícitos e com energia lá em cima pra receber a todos. Toda estrutura do hostel é ótima, cama e cobertor inclusive super confortável. A localização é maravilhosa, tem muitas e muitas próximas, tanto de pontos turísticos e comércio. E pra quem gosta de cozinhar no hostel, tem uma cozinha toda equipada casa preferir. Fiz grandes amigos no hostel que fizeram com que tudo se tornasse ainda mais especial. Recomendo demaisssss este hoste.

I had the most amazing time here. There’s a genuine reason why this place is called 'OneFam'. As a solo traveler, I truly found a little family here and made some of my absolute best memories. The hosts are incredibly accommodating, warm, and caring, making you feel welcome and safe from day one. The facilities are clean, and the terrace is a nice, chill spot. This hostel is perfect for anyone looking for an active nightlife, we went out every single night! From cooking and sharing dinners together to exploring the city, it’s not just a place to stay, it’s a real community. Can’t wait to come back! 💚

Such an amazing little hostel in such a great location of Barcelona. Absolutely loved staying here - would even say it could be my favourite hostel that I’ve ever stayed at before. The guys working there are super friendly and helpful and the vibe of the hostel is so welcoming and friendly - you quickly get the know everyone and feel like you’re part of the community. This is the only hostel I’ve stayed at where they serve a free dinner which I thought was absolutely amazing. It was also super easy to store any food and drink I’d bought in the kitchen and the terrace was a nice place to chill. Free tea and coffee in the morning helped with starting your day - especially if you were feeling a little sensitive from the night before. The social vibe of the hostel wasn’t limited to just chatting in the shared common areas, but expanded to an engaging WhatsApp chat giving you updates regularly and allowed everyone to communicate effectively via that if they wanted/needed. After the free dinner (which again, wow) there would be drinking games before being brought to a bar then club for the night. This really gives you the chance to enjoy the Barcelona night life without feeling the pressure of where’s good or being afraid to go alone. Overall, this is a sick little hostel and I’m glad that I found it :) I’ll be back for sure - sláinte guys!

Nothing - was great price, facilities and community.

Got some of my best sleep the whole trip here with a comfy mattress and the curtains. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed the group dinners. Bathrooms were very nicely cleaned and common areas well maintained.

The bedrooms could use some deep cleaning. I wish there were more calm spaces during the day (but it is a party hostel). I also didn’t love that they state free dinner every night but then ask for tips to fund the dinners (I don’t blame the people asking, they’re just doing their jobs)
