Ngoc Minh Hotel

The owner was very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us an upgrade and also helped us with booking our tickets to Cu Chi tunnel at the very last minute. The room was also comfortable and the overall stay was pleasant.

Everything was good overall. There was nothing major that we disliked.

Расположение отличное, рядом магазины, кафе(кстати Макдональдс рядом работает круглосуточно), рынок, автобусные турагентства по Вьетнаму. Несмотря на это, сам отель расположен на относительно тихой улочке. В номере было чисто. Всё понравилось.

Sehr zentrale Lage in einer ruhigen, kleinen Seitenstraße. Tolle, begrünte Dachterrasse mit Küchenutensilien u. Kochmöglichkeiten. Mein Zimmer im 5. Stock war geräumig, gut eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich.. Besitzerfamilie sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Es gab scheinbar keinen Roomservice.

Le personnel est charmant, l'emplacement bien, proche de la plage, bien qu'au milieu de travaux. Mais pas bruyant. La plage très belle. Mais exclusivement Russe (en particulier au niveau de la langue)

Presque rien, a part le fait que tout est payant sur la plage : on voit d'un mauvais oeil, voire on essaye de t'empêcher de t'installer sur le sable sans prendre un transat payant.

It had all amenities in the room and it was very spacious. Great location next to many restaurants.

The lock on the room door was a little dated so felt less secure. Something I'm always thinking about as a solo traveller.

This hotel is located in District 1, right in the party area. It is easy to reach by taxi, and if your goal is to enjoy the nightlife and have a place to sleep afterwards, this hotel is a good option. There was a big celebration happening in Saigon during our holiday, so most hotels were fully booked. We were happy to find a room here. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay of one or max. two nights.

Unfortunately, our room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. It made the stay quite uncomfortable. This is the main reason I would not recommend the hotel to someone who is particular about cleanliness or looking for a well-kept place. I cannot say if all rooms are like this, but sadly, ours was not one of the cleanest.

The location was excellent. Near the park, underground and above ground markets. The bars are around the corner but I didn't hear any noise from them. The room had a fridge to keep my groceries cold in the kitchen area along with a kitchen sink. Lots of room and furniture. Worth the money. I will stay here again when I'm traveling on a budget.

The separate shower was great but the water drained very slowly.

bedroom was tiny just enough room to squeeze a bed in, shower was only very luke warm, and bedding smelt as did the lift and just found it very grubby but if ya just looking to get ya head down and be close to walking street go for it

We stayed an extra night in Saigon and booked this place about 10 minutes before showing up. We arrived early and they kept our bags. The room wasn’t ready because it was about 11am when we arrived but they offered to WhatsApp us when our room was ready. They also told us to WhatsApp them if we ever needed anything. When we went to check in they told us they upgraded us for free!! They asked for the money for our room when we got there but we had no cash on us and they said that was not a problem, we just payed later that night. The room was lovely and spacious, super clean. Such an amazing location also, better than our last hotel. The people here are absolutely amazing, we had a bus at 8pm and they kept our bags for us all day. Would 100% recommend and would definitely return!

Great place for a family, clean, slightly smaller room, but the beds were fine, staff was friendly and helpful. Location ideal to explore the center.

Even though its in nicely hidden alley, the balcony door cant be closed completely, so the noise cant be sealed off.

rooms were clean. the hotel building had a door that locked with fob.

the reception staff is accessible by whatsapp and/or booking dot com’s messaging service only. the walls are very thin, expect to hear the adjacent room’s shower, flush and other noises in your room. bathroom’s light never worked but i was there only one night so i did not care much.

Easy communication with owners through messenger. Close to a lot of things. Walkable. Since the hotel is located behind the Main Street (alleyway type street) it was not a busy front area so made it feel safer to walk in/out of the hotel. They have a working elevator. Working AC a plus! Doesn’t need the key to be inserted to keep the room cool. Free water when they clean your room.

Zentral gelegen. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Betreiber. Frühstück gab es leider nicht, aber das bekommt man in diversen anderen Hotels der Gegend auch, wenn man dort kein Gast ist.

Rosa was so lovely and despite my extremely late booking, she speedily made the room up while I ducked out for food! It was a comfy room with a small but nice bathroom.

The price and location. Mind you, my review is based on a rate of $30/night. I am not comparing it to pricier hotels. They also allowed for a 5pm checkout.

Toilet clogged and I had to text for a plunger, staffing is limited at the hotel.

Good location comfortable bed little tired in places, on arrival the owner gives you a front door pass so you can come and go as you please he also gives you his WhatsApp and replies quite quickly there's lot's of places to book trips and laundry services just outside the hotel

Unfortunately there's no staff on the premises at all times so no breakfast but there is more than enough places to eat at whatever budget you require.

The location is nice, walking distance to most attractions...... but in the same street you can fine better accomodation. The room was simple and small ... the AC is opposite to the bed so it isn't so comfy during night. The owner was very helpful with the trip and the airport transport :)

Beds were not made up. Only one toilet roll for two people for three nights.

Good location, and good value for the money, just the rooms are a little bit small, but you are going to be in the city most of the time anyway. It's in a quiet area, which is pretty good.

It was very central to everything and the room was clean, comfortable, and a great price!

Honestly for the location and the price, it was exactly as advertised so no complaints here!

Excellent district 1 location.

The staff were very helpful getting an airport taxi but reception was infrequent manned& communication was via WhatsApp.I have stayed at this property 8 times in the last 10 years & it’s now being run on skeleton staff which is inadequate.the room was only cleaned when asked so I had to buy toilet rolls & water&.cleaning was below my standards.Sadly I won’t rebook there again

The location is amazing! Right next to the party street, but completely quiet. Also the Saigon bus terminal is 250m away, so our trip to cu chi tunnels was easier than expected (27k đ one way, about 2,5h). There is no breakfast, but many cafes, restaurants and 7-Elevens around to compensate. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

When we arrived at 9 am it took about 10 minutes to gain entry as the door now has a secure lock & reception is not manned 24/7 .However we were given a WhatsApp contact on entry / door code & any requests/information answered quickly & always extremely helpful including taxi to the airport .There was no welcome drink but water in the room first day.Clean comfortable quiet room in good location

Hotel was in a quiet little alley off of busier ones and close to the big park. Room was a good size with good AC and fan. Hotel had a simple rooftop Patio that was nice in the evenings when the breeze cooled things down. Excellent value overall.

Very rudimentary toiletries. We were on a short trip so did not have our own stuff but would recommend you do for here.

Honest people, responded promptly to our requests. There is a code to enter so the place felt a but safer than others in this area. The room works fine if you need something safe and simple to spend the night. Doesn’t offer more than that but it’s much better than other places in the area which felt clear scams.

Booking.com labels it a hotel but it’s more of a guest room in a condo. I think that booking’s advertising for a lot of places in the area was misleading in this sense.

Great place to stay. Definitely come back for next visit.
