De service tijdens het ontbijt liet helaas te wensen over. Aan het buffet ontbraken dagelijks borden en kommetjes. Wanneer het appelsiensap dat bovendien niet vers geperst was op was, werd het niet meer aangevuld. Ook aan de tafels verliep de bediening niet optimaal: gasten waren zelfs genoodzaakt vuile borden op elkaar te stapelen om plaats te maken aan hun tafel. Dit alles zorgde voor een weinig aangename ontbijtbeleving. Nadat ik deze opmerking ook bij het afrekenen had aangehaald, werd onze ervaring helaas nog onaangenamer. Bij het verlaten van het hotel werden we door de twee mannelijke receptionisten niet eens meer begroet. Een dergelijke houding komt weinig professioneel en weinig gastvrij over en was dan ook een teleurstellende afsluiter van ons verblijf.

Es ist ein sehr modernes und schönes Hotel. Es hat grundsätzlich alles was man braucht um sich zu erholen.

Am Pool hat es etwas wenig Liegeflächen, kann bei einem vollem Hotel zu einem Problem werden. (Motzen aber auch einem sehr hohem Niveau.

More selection for breakfast would be nice. Our bathroom only had a very small bathtub to take a shower in.

It was miles better than I expected, particularly the service, which was very attentive, no doubt due to the involvement of Marriott.

Small hotel with lovely facilities. Pool was perfect and lovely and clean too. I hadn't realised that I hadn't ticked the box for breakfast but there are two Boulongeries within walking distance that we went to.

Bel endroit, confort, espace, équipements et service à l'américaine = top. Piscine agréable et petit-déjeuner avec tout ce dont on rêve et pris en terrasse sur le jardin très luxe.

Chambre à côté de la station de recharge Tesla très bruyant toute la nuit...+ une route passante derrière et le balcon à 2m de la haie.Le prix devrait juste être différent par rapport aux chambres sur jardin. Et petite musique de fond tout le temps: piscine, petit-dej...une nuisance pour moi.

ottima struttura, arredo ricercato ed accogliente, hall con area lettura che io ho particolarmente apprezzato perché ricca di volumi su Picasso, Cezanne, Matisse, che consiglio di sfogliare!. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, pulizia ottima in ogni spazio. La posizione è perfetta per chi ricerca una zona tranquilla, silenziosa e rilassante ma altrettanto comoda per raggiungere i principali centri da visitare ( come Mougins centro storico, Cannes, Vallauris, Antibes ecc). La camera era molto bella, con tutti i comfort, dall'acqua al caffè, dall'accappatoio alle ciabattine, con piccola veranda esterna con tavolino e seggioline nel verde provenzale, una piccola oasi per un caffè o una lettura silenziosa. La Bastide è strutturata come una enorme cascina provenzale, avvolta da un verde parco con oleandri fioriti, alberi, arbusti provenzali, che rendono le colazioni e le cene all'aperto davvero scenografiche e rilassanti. Colazione ricca e variegata, con crepes, pancakes, waffle, madeline, molte proposte dolci e salate, deliziosa. Abbiamo cenato una sera ed anche in questo caso i piatti erano ottimi. Tutto bellissimo, sicuramente la consiglierei e ci ritornerei.

Ich war früher oft in diesem Hotel. Seit dem Besitzerwechsel bin ich nun das erste Mal wieder da gewesen. Eigentlich würde man nicht vermuten, dass das Hotel zu einer grossen Kette gehört. Viele kleine Dinge haben geändert und man hat das Gefühl, dass gespart werden muss.

In einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich, das das Mineralwasser im Zimmer nachgefüllt wird. Beim Frühstück erwarte ich Butter nicht Margarine. Wenn man im Zimmer etwas reklamiert, könnte es in einem Tag erledigt sein

Staff was ok friendly but not so warm, very weird atmosphere. We came from the provence where we had a spledid stay and where hospitality & friendliness is an example for this hotel. Very loud children, poolbar closed

This was a lovely relaxed hotel in a beautiful garden. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful and our room was a great size. I can recommend it to anyone and the area was delightful and there was parking on site

The vibe is very good.

Pool needs an update looks like a community pool, staff are what you would expect, no air conditioning. No elevator or help with lauggage. Bed is terrible.

Beautifull place, central located in the area off Cannes, Grasse, Mougins and Valbonne.

Das Hotel ist etwas älter, aber immer noch schön und idyllisch. Leider wurde aus dem Gartensitzplatz etwas zu wenig gemacht.

Ich habe einige Tage nach meinem Aufenthalt einen Gegenstand abgeholt, welchen ich vergessen hatte. Dabei wollte ich auch die WCs benutzen, was mir dann vom Personal untersagt wurde. Das Personal war grundsätzlich eher unfreundlich und hat nicht Hand geboten, den Wünschen der Kunden zu entsprechen. Das entspricht nicht dem Service eines Hotels dieser Kategorie.

The hotel is delightful. The setting is charming, the facilities excellent, the rooms comfortable and the pool is such a good size. The staff were so helpful and so welcoming. Eating a delicious breakfast in the charming setting was lovely. We spent four nights there and would return.

La beauté du lieu. J'etais déjà venu du temps où ce n'était pas encore le Marriott. On a l'impression d'un oasis de calme. L'accueil était très gentil. La chambre propre, mais avec les standards Mariott, disparition donc de l'ambiance provençale d'avant...

La climatisation était très faible voire inexistante, à ce tarif et avec près de 40 degrés dehors c'est un problème. Par ailleurs le service au bar était très long , et vu le tarif, un petit pot de cacahuète et d'amuse-gueule aurait été le bienvenu.

Le petit déjeuner est excellent et servi dans un agréable jardin. Le parking est assez grand et sécurisé. Le personnel est agréable et professionnel (même si à la réception le système qui gère les facturations et les réservations ne semblent pas optimal). Bon cocktail au bar.

Les infrastructures sont anciennes malgré des chambres rénovées. L'airco des deux chambres de notre famille ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons dormi la fenêtre ouverte mais nous étions dans des chambres assez mal situées proches de la piscine avec du bruit la nuit. Il manque des chaises longues pour se poser dans le jardin car près de la piscine c'est très dense.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel...a real oasis of calm and relaxation in a busy area of Provence. The staff, from the General Manager Rafaelle down were all amazing. Food was excellent, pool wonderful, rooms an absolute lesson in comfort and cleanliness

Nothing at all

We stayed for one night as we had a wedding very nearby. Great little place with lovely friendly and helpful staff. Room was pleasant and very clean. Bathroom nicely done . Breakfast was very good . It was a good choice for us.

Soggiorno nella mediocrità di un discreto posto. Solo bello il verde. Per il resto personale asettico e poco preparato. Le finiture delle stanze come infissi ed altro sono a livello di casa popolare di basso livello. La colazione per 24 euro a testa veniva dismessa mezz’ora prima dell’ orario previsto …. In conclusione belli i fiori ma manca l’anima dell’ albergo

The garden and pool

The decor was extraordinary. Our bedroom had a basic plastic cover over the fridge and tin side tables. The catch by the door got stuck and we couldn't get in. The batteries in the safe were flat so that had to be sorted. We arrived late morning and we were told to walk to a boulangerie 15 minutes away to get a sandwich as they couldn't give us a snack. Finally they were short staffed on reception and there was nearly always a queue. Wi-fi was almost impossible to get on a daily basis.

Cle'ment was very helpful at check-in and provided great suggestions on places to go in the area. The hotel is nearly finished being refurbishment and our room was very nice. The decor is beautiful.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times. It has recently been renovated and continues to be a be a lovely, peaceful refuge. The hotel is not walking distance to anything, so plan on either renting a car or scheduling transportation. Uber is available but unreliable, especially during Cannes Film Festival. It has recently been sold to Marriott, but it seems like the transition is a bit bumpy, hopefully they will work out the kinks with the reservation system. Make sure you call the hotel to confirm your reservation is in the system, several colleagues had issues with their reservations, but the hotel staff are wonderful and got it all sorted. The restaurant is great and breakfast is especially good - don’t sleep on the juices. The reason I am only giving 4 stars and am writing this review is because of the EXTREME rudeness of the night guard. Our party of business travelers had 11 people. One evening after dinner, we gathered in the lobby for a business meeting. It was late, probably close to midnight. The night guard turned the lights off in the area we were sitting. There were other guests sitting in the same area, it wasn’t just us. We continued to meet IN THE DARK as we had to wrap up before some team members left the next morning. Then, one of us was looking for a garbage can and stepped behind the bar to throw something away. Out of nowhere, the night guard runs over to the bar and starts screaming at her in French. As a non-French speaker she was stunned and froze because it was actually scary and threatening, especially because she didn’t understand what he was saying. Luckily, a French speaker stepped in to help, turns out he was upset because she had stepped behind the bar to throw something away and guests are not allowed behind the bar. I understand that he takes his job seriously, but I’d suggest reminding him that the guests should be the priority. If there is a policy in place that guests are not permitted to use the lobby after a certain time that should be stated or posted. It gave us a great story, but in the moment it was actually pretty scary. Don’t let that deter you from booking though, this is a great hotel!
