Treasure Island Resort

Great vibe. Beds could be improved. Owner was a nice guy made you feel at home. Food was great. Beaches were covered in trash everymorning , staff cleaned them everymorning . Such a beautiful place , its a shame people have to throw their trash in the rivers.

Awesome and cozy hotel by the beach..Only issue maybe put some blue lights or fly sticky papers..The flies are annoying.

Staff talking bad about my family when visiting, not being able to fix the room light , ac is not working properly, breakfast is very limited options compared to what they charged. Not very friendly staff

Pool area was clean and well maintained. Deluxe room was old and very simple, needs updating to current standards. Staff was excellent as well as the food. No backup generator (was out of service) and a private birthday party in front of my room caused me to check out a day early.

Many stays I tolerated their noisy old Air Con, cement frame-beds, walls painted over and over ...all in rooms so cheap they allow pets (gotta attract guests somehow). I am fan of Security (Mark) and front desk (Ilene). But this trip, like the reviews on Google Maps say 'You will get tired of waiting for waitresses' and I DID....AND last night a new waitress, make a RUDE statement about the age of myself-wife-mother-n-law all while they are table. WHAT! WHO the heck is she to insult me/a guest..is she my friend? a relative?! Grr. Checking out, I chat manager about that insult to me; his smug replay "well she didn't mean it" WHAT?! ...he doesn't say 'sorry sir' or '"I'll talk to her." instead talks me down.He..Hotelers so MANY better hotels on Olongapo Beach; as in By the Sea, C-Cove and the new (& amazing) Central Park Resort. I'll never go back to Treasure Insult Hotel again, signed, ' bodyguard.inc @ yahoo.com ' (ps. wait> I'm sure the manager will alibi his unprofessional below)

I like the food and the view the staff there are good

The STARS of Olongapo Beach! (get it?) ;-) 5-Star items: Staff (especially day guard), Mngr always on grounds, Food (perfect Patty Melt, Onion Rings,Omelet-20 styles!), parking..... 4.5 star pool.....4-star room (although I like cable package, high TV, and LOVE high mounted fan (rare ZZZzzz). Beach is 3-stars as public beach = vendors. 2019, 10-trips Olongapo, EIGHT were to THIS hotel!

This is a hotel trap! DO NOT BOOK on this hotel. Made the mistake of booking here thinking you get what you pay for. For $85/night, I was expecting a somewhat decent hotel. Nope! Biggest mistake. If you want to surround your family with expats and their local consorts, this is your place. The place is so small and their beach access is ridiculous! Their photos are misleading. Be warned! Also, no refunds for cancellation! Total rip-off! Never, never, never again!

Relaxing stay!!!

Great staff, very friendly. Room very basic for too much money. No toiletries, tea coffee, wardrobe or storage. Clothes in the case for a week. Staff brill work hard but place needs a lot of money spent on it to improve.

On beach, nice bar area, TV didn’t work in first room so they moved me to another one.

Shower is not working properly. Hallway is not safe specially when its wet.

Cheap place to stay for 1 night. I would stay here again. Place is old and outdated.

The positive was the aircon worked and my Filipino breakfast was good, the rest was under par even by Philippine standard, a worker did say the hotel was recently under new ownership with my be the cause of such poor service, the WiFi never worked,the restaurant was advertised as 24 hour and was closed , when I asked for even a bag of chips it was an complete inconvenience, the room amenities were lacking ,the bed was very worn out, just an overall poor experience even taking into account being in the Philippines you have to lower expectations. I will not be returning to this hotel on the future.

Pleasant stay on beach, food good at restaurant, staff efficient, would stay there again.

Without question the staff working the bar are the best part of this resort. If you are put in a unit along the street the bar across the street is very loud until one or two am. This is my second stay here the first stay I booked a deluxe room and was given a room overlooking the pool with a balcony. This stay I was given a room at the back, when asked I was told my first stay I was given an upgrade. I don't think this was true. Many outside visitors at the pool during the day, party atmosphere if that is what you are looking for.

Doesn’t matter....Treasure Island insist they have no affiliation with Wotif!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The booking was an error from the beginning and YOU refused to accknowledge or refund my money!!!!

As of more than a year ago the wifi was ok, thenit got worse. Next time, it was worse. Now they say, sometimes it doesnt work upstairs, but always does in the restaurant area. The truth is it never works anywhere. To get wifi i had to go eat in neighboring establishments.

Thats old need a refresh aircon noisy and the cr smell bad but the rest its ok fun staff the people are great so i give a 5.5 on 10

The hotel has no water supply for a couple of hours. A lot of mosquitos in the room. Staffs are nice and accomodating and the owner interacts with us as well.

Why no or slow internet on second floor? Food expensive

Treasure Island was quiet with a great staff. Location was good, closes enough to the amenties of the area but far enough to be quiet and relaxing. The staff make it worth coming back. Good service can be hard to find in the Philippines but it is readily apparent at Treasure Island. We were in a family room. The room was large and clean. Just small maintenance issues. The toilet seat was only held on by one fastener and it would not flush without manipulating the cover. We will go back the service, location and amenties were good.

if you refer to the photos its really deceiving, i also did some research on the net specially youtube and found a video that really makes the place look very big. but the place seems well for the price. about the room, more than expected. very big and spacious. but found some few mosquitoes though. Food is nice though. Again seems ok for the price. but try doing walk-ins to some other places near this hotel, might find some better deals.

TI is a good hotel away from highway 5. It has a great pool and poolside bar.

4.5 star stay! Great! At the suggestion of a friend, I choose Treasure Island over the 2 dozen along that stretch of beach. It was pouring rain 20 of my 21 hours there (hence August is the PI's slow season)...ahhhh but the hour it stopped I enjoyed a warm water ocean, 40 meter wide beach, very clean, soft sand wading out (not like Cebu) to body-surf. At night enjoyed strong wifi under a bamboo roofed table, with American specialties like a Patty Melt sandwich. Breakfast was equaling surprising to see cream beef. Quiet hallways too (unlike Pampanga), so it was a superior 1-day stay.

Nice older hotel with super staff. Fun few days with friends went swimming fishing jetsking and had great time. Food is wonderful and the prices are low. Great Place

I had a very comfortable stay with my new wife there for a long weekend. The staff was very helpful and the bed was very comfortable I upgraded to a balcony with a larger room overlooking the pool and Beach.

Great hotel right at the beach

All hotels are overpriced in this area due to the brothels. The beach is dirty, town is dirty, the ladies are cheap but cute.

Few days to relax on the beach. Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Great Food and there was even a floatoing bar in the bay.

awesome staff members, most would go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, close enough to the nightlife (2 min trike ride/5min walk) yet far enough away to avoid the noise, a really relaxing hotel with great staff, will stay here again

Nice place for the price! Beach was very trashy. Not kept clean and loads of trash in water. But it rained 3 out of 4 days with high water. I will try it again. Staff was very nice!

This area is pretty sketchy so it's hard to give an unbiased review. The room was clean enough although the room was never turned over in two days there. The shower didn't work very well. Air-conditioning was very weak. The food at the resort was pretty good and not too overpriced. The pool is pretty nice and clean. The beach itself was dirty but that may partially be due to rainy season. If you have a good group of friends, into water sports, or are looking for some late night entertainment of the adult variety, this area is perfect. As a romantic getaway or family vacation, I'm less sure.

We had a good stay in Treasure Island Resort. Its a waterfront property, so the access to the waves was the best part of the stay. If we weren't at the beach, we took a dip in the pool, while sipping our drinks. The evenings were interesting with the live band performance as well. very lively!
