Reviewed Mar 30, 2026O hotel é super espaçoso, funcionários atenciosos. O café da manhã possui duas opções por dia, um americano e um mexicano. Bem gostosos! Jesus, o garçom, é um pessoa muito amável. O quarto é super espaçoso, com varanda e frigobar. A água é sempre salgadinha, mas isso é uma questão em toda Playa. A piscina também é bem gostosa.
O único ponto negativo é que ele fica um pouco afastado do centro. Uns 25 minutos de caminhada. Os táxis na ilha variam muito de preço, na média dá uns 150 pesos, mas à noite pode chegar a 400.

La ubicacion es en una zona un poco retirada. Estabamos en auto, por lo que no tuvimos inconveniente. A favor que la zona es muy silenciosa, algo a destacar por lo ruidoso que es playa del Carmen en el centro. No tenian como opcion leche en el desayuno para los niños.

All staff - but especially Carlos and his brother - were professional, helpful, accommodating, kind and patient. The breakfast was good, wait staff, kitchen staff excellent - again very accommodating. The room was spotless, kudos to the cleaning staff. Excellent value for your money. Location to the nearest hospital was our need, but it was a reasonable walk to downtown.
The pool area and roof are good, just a little tired!

Just about everything was bad. Location: right next to a busy motorway and far from downtown. Dirty room: I found someone's hair on the pillow. Very noisy: there are guard dogs all around the premises that bark all night long. Staff: impolite. I booked for 3 nights. They promised me a refund if I left after 1 night. I have never received any refund. DON'T STAY HERE. There are better places in Carmen.

It was a bit too far from the main street. You have to cross the main road and walk for more than 25 min just to reach the beach or the bus station. When it is hot it is not the best thing to do. There was also a lot of noise coming from the highroad. When we saw the pool on the rooftop it seemed a bit dirty and abandoned. Maybe we didn't come at the right time.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Angelo's. The room we had was very large at the end of the hall so our balcony wrapped around the building. We stayed for seven nights and each day our room was cleaned and the bed made and two bottles of water were supplied each day. The breakfast was fairly simple and not much variety over the seven days, but the service was wonderful. The man who served us was polite and very efficient. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool area was a nice place to relax. The only negative is that it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach area. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy but the people are friendly. The hotel is a very good deal for the amount of money it charges.

Good value for Playa del Carmen and nice to be away from the noise of 5th avenue with a family. The breakfast was ok, not great. We didn’t use pool but it looked clean and upstairs seating was nice.
