Les singes … un peu peur mais en même temps c’est nous qui sommes sur leur territoire donc on prend bien soin de fermer les portes et fenêtres et on attend qu’ils repartent 😂 La verdure c’est chouette mais il y a un petit manque d’encadrement tout de même le personnel fait ce qu’il peut mais ils sont un peu livrés à eux même et çà se sent.

Dans un cadre de verdure en bordure du parc national adjacent. Prestation bonnes pour le tarif. Petit déjeuner varié avec vue superbe vue. Ne pas craindre les animaux geckos et parfois singes. Hôtel atypique dépaysant que j ai apprécié.

Infinity pool

We stayed in the Residence Penthouse and it was a beautiful room with even better views. It was mostly peaceful with the exception of hallway noise in the morning. The shower was great but the bathroom is a bit weird since it has a large window with no window next to the toilet that leads to the terrace which doesn't offer much privacy. The view from the restaurant is fantastic

The rooms are old, the bed is hard while the pillows are thin and too soft. The check-inn was terrible. The staff seemed to not really care about the hotel guests because really Veranda has become a restaurant for wealthy locals to take selfies. The restaurant and lunch and dinner was packed with groups, more people than can fit at a table squeeze in and practically sit on your lap. This is crazy because we thought we were booking a relaxing quiet resort only to find it busier than any restaurant in the city. Guests wander the entire resort finding places to take selfies or pictures of each other. There is no staff anywhere to restrict their movements. There were times we came down and there were no tables available and the restaurant seats 50-70 people easily but maybe 100 with the way people cram in. There is no staff at either pool. The pool areas were left dirty with 1/2 eaten peanuts, uneiped tables, and lounge chair cushions stacked in a corner covered in leaves and dirt. The view from the infinity pool was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure why they needed a 1.8m deep end-to-end Infinity pool. You can do laps but not enjoy the view or you can cling to the wall to look at the ocean but you can't just relax or stand. It was also difficult with my 3.5 year old daughter because she is still learning to swim, I can't stand to help her, and when she gets scared she wants to climb on me which then becomes difficult to swim or float to the edge. There is a smaller pool in front but it was only 1/4 full so quite pointless. If you want a quiet retreat at a beautiful mountainside resort don't go on the weekends and don't go with high expectations. The Veranda of today is a shadow of it's former glory.

This is an old favorite of mine. Absolutely beautiful resort built into the mountain overlooking the sea.

A beautiful setting in the national park. We loved the infinity pool and the view across the sea. The planting was beautiful and the rooms were styled in a way that reflected the local style.

It was often difficult to find staff members to order a drink from in the bar areas. Some areas felt a little forgotten about and unloved - we found smashed glass by the garden pool one day.

The room was huge, with an amazing open air bathroom. The bath was perfect for an evening soak and I enjoyed the companionship of local lizards and frogs. The big balcony had a wide day bed, great for reading and relaxing. The infinity pool area was quiet and the lounger beds were very comfortable, with power points for charging phones. The restaurant overlooking the ocean had a fabulous sunset view along with delicious food and drink.

While I wasn't bothered too much, the local monkeys knew humans meant food and snatched eggs from my breakfast plate one morning. They also tried to get in my room so you have to make sure all doors and windows are locked. The staff do their best to deter them though and as the restaurant backs onto a national park, you can't blame the hotel for wild animals.

Estar en este hotel es un lujo, a lado del parque natural nacional de Kep y qué se puede recorrer desde el hotel en unas tres horas de camino fácil rodeado de naturaleza. Las habitaciones son enormes y decoradas en plan naturaleza con vistas, desde altura, al mar. Desayuno y comidas a la carta espectaculares con una terraza con vistas al mar y al parque nacional. Desde el hotel una breve caminata te lleva al centro de la ciudad y la playa.

Todo perfecto, a playa no es fantástica y está un poco lejos pero va bien darse un baño

We had a fabulous stay here. The resort is like a giant tree house in a beautiful setting. The rooms are amazing and both pools are so lovely. The breakfast also was fab - do much to choose from - would highly recommend staying here.

Nothing! A mosquito net in the room would be useful and more availability of drinking water.

Tout, la vue imprenable sur le coucher du soleil depuis l’Infinity pool, l’architecture du lieu, les aménagements qui te font croire être dans la jungle. Et même les macaques qui viennent se servir de cacahouètes ! Les personnel est souriant et très disponible

Bigger room and wide open space. Cool veranda with seaview, jungleview, mountsview. Peaceful room location. Good structure and clean. Thanks for the free upgrade room to a better location and room type! 🙏😍

Les espaces extérieurs sont magnifiques. Bungalow dans un écrin de verdure. Personnel sympathique. Très bon petits déjeuners

Ein überaus wunderschönes und besonderes Hotel. Super schöne Anlage. 2 gigantische Pools, sehr bequeme Liegen. Sehr ruhig. Mit Liebe zum Detail, außergewöhnlich. Das schönste Hotel das wir in Kambodscha hatten. Das Zimmer war wunderschön mit Freiluftbadezimmer mit Badewanne, ein Traum. Nur vorsichtig vor den Affen. Frühstück und das Essen waren sehr lecker. Umfangreiches Speisen Angebot zu moderaten Preisen und sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren 5 Nächte und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Wir kommen wieder.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Schade war nur, an den Pools bei Happy Hour kein Personal an der Bar. Man musste zum Restaurant laufen um zu bestellen

Reception staff were si helpful in booking trips for us and taxis and showing is the way! Bar staff at the infinity pool were also outstanding

The pool was fantastic The atmosphere and views were stunning. The breakfast was nice and varied The drinks in the restaurant were great. We especially enjoyed watching the bats fly above the pool in the evening. The shower facilities were top notch The air conditioning worked well

Staff initially informed us we had not pre paid despite the fact we had a receipt to the contrary which unfortunately caused some unnecessary anxiety. The issue was later cleared up. The food in the restaurant was very tasty but the ratio of protein to other was on the low side.

Nous adorons cet hôtel auquel nous revenons chaque fois que nous passons à Kep. Hôtel plein de charme. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Mooi gelegen op een berg, aan de rand van Kep national park. Met smaak ingericht resort. Goed restaurant en uitstekende zwembaden. Vriendelijke medewerkers.

De makaken uit het park vormen een plaag. We voelden ons niet veilig in onze kamer met open badkamer. Mijn vrouw werd aangevallen toen ze onder de douche stond. Drie keer hadden de makaken in onze wastafel gepoept. Na zes dagen kregen we een up grade naar een kamer met gesloten badkamer. Waren daar erg blij mee.

Les prix des prestations au spa sont quand même excessifs.

L'hôtel est situé en pleine nature avec une très belle vue sur la mer. Il est tout proche du parc national pour une balade. Deux piscines et un restaurant. Les singes viennent vous rentrent visite. Il est possible de rejoindre le marché au crabes et les restaurants à côté à pied à une quinzaine de minutes de marche.

Nous avions réservé "Hébergement Refuge Familial - Côté Océan" et les deux chambres étaient très bruyantes car situées juste en dessous de la terrasse du restaurant. Nous étions donc réveillés dès 6h avec l'installation du petit déjeuner. À noter: Geckos et grenouille dans notre chambre (normal vu le cadre dans lequel est situé l'hôtel)

Nice rustic hotel with great infinity pool

Coffee at breakfast took ages

Great location at entrance to national park, and amazing views from Sunset balcony room. Quiet and reasonably spacious. Good WiFi. Bed was quite hard but they kindly fitted a mattress topper upon request. Front desk were very helpful with any request.

Food in restaurant was not great - even the local food cuisine - but there are great food options within a walking distance. Monkeys playing one of the pools, and chasing guests away from their ‘spot’ made it difficult to relax in that area, but they’re probably not there all the time. Staff did periodically chase them away.

Superb location, wonderfully quiet and comfortable. Excellent pool and exceptional birdlife.

Really disappointing food. Breakfast was good but could be better if there was real fruit juice and not just watery stuff, and plenty of real local fruit. But supper was bland and tasteless, again! Extraordinary when the waiting staff make such an effort. The answer is a better chef!

I loved absolutely everything about the Veranda Resort. It is located within the forest, and it generally has a very peaceful vibe. The breakfast and dinner are also nice. Rooms are of exceptional quality. Staff are really nice and they helped us book taxis etc. Also Kep in general is a nice stop between Cambodia and Vietnam. This is why the resort offers a good moment of pause.

I have no negative impressions about the Veranda Resort but if you have mobility issues please keep in my mind that the hotel is located on a hillside - so there are a number stairs or ramps that could be challenging. I visited here with my 70 years old mom and she did perfectly fine.

Personnel très serviable et chaleureux

Dieses Ressort ist wirklich sehr groß und sehr weitläufig. Der Infinity Pool ist wirklich toll und man hat das Gefühl entweder im Dschungel zu schwimmen oder auf dem offenen Meer wirklich toll gemacht Das Frühstücksbuffet ist so groß und umfangreich, dass man vermutlich vier Tage braucht, um alles zu probieren Da das Ressort wirklich in den Dschungel gebaut wurde, kann man tagsüber auf den Bäumen die wilden Affen beobachten

Ogromne przestrzenie, świetne widoki, piękna flora i fauna (małpki i motyle zaglądały nam przez okno), przemiła obsługa, super lokalizacja na wzgórzu, (mieliśmy skuter). Bardzo urozmaicone śniadania z pięknym widokiem na zatokę. Dwa duże baseny, najlepsze podczas naszego pobytu w Kambodży. Hotel wygląda, jak jeden wielki luksusowy domek na drzewie, pięknie wkomponowany w otoczenie. Byliśmy oczarowani!

Akurat w naszym pokoju mieliśmy bardzo słaby internet albo wcale. Odbiór telewizji w bardzo słabej jakości, żadnej kanał nie był “czysty”. Pomimo ogromnej przestrzeni w pokoju brakowało wieszaków/haczykòw, gdzie można by odwiesić chociażby mokre ręczniki. To szczegóły, ale mogą się przydać, by poprawić jakość hotelu jeszcze bardziej.

Large, tranquil and beautiful facility located in the jungle of Kep and providing breathtaking views on the sea. Great swimming pools, excellent spa and delicious breakfast. We even got to see monkeys and frogs up close. Location is very convenient too, as the hotel is just a few minutes drive away from the Kep market.

La visite journaliere d un « decko » (gros lézard) qui nous laissait un souvenir …jusque sur notre lit. Le personnel a essayé de le déloger … sans succès. Un peu stressant le soir avant de rentrer dans sa chambre.

Zeer toffe kamers, ruim en wij hadden een XL badkamer. Leuke zwembaden, vriendelijk personeel.

Iets te harde matras en als er iemand onder de kamer doorliep, stonden ze precies naast je.

The hotel is nestled unobtrusively into the forest and it is not possible to see any other room from your own. There are many nooks and crannies to explore and spend time in. Nature is on your doorstep; one morning we watched a beautiful chestnut red squirrel eating a coconut next to our veranda. The views from the eating area were lovely and the food was generally great. The deep infinity pool was fantastic, especially for swimming. walks in the nearby forest were fantastic.

The bed was a bit too firm for our liking. The pre-cooked breakfast meals in the bain-marie were not brilliant, but there were many other options.

It’s a very nice spot, the room’s clean, the view’s amazing, the staff is nice.

Loved everything about the Veranda. We had stayed here 14 years ago so wanted to come back and it was just as we remembered. The bathrooms are so big and spacious. The pools were amazing. Especially the infinity pool which overlooked the ocean. The Secret Garden was a hidden gem with stunning views. Highly recommend The Veranda.

Loved the location with the hotel blending effortlessly into the majestic Kep National Park. Both swimming pools are out of this world, and the rooms are just amazing.

The Room was Lovely with Wonderful Views. The Shower was Great. The Infinity Pool was Wonderful. The Staff was friendly and attentive. There was Always Pool towels. We had a Great stay here.

The Food was a bit pricey. The monkeys on the Roof at night.
