Ona Las Casitas

Had a great stay, beautiful well equipped clean bungalows. Pool area and grounds beautifully maintained. Team on reception couldn’t be more helpful and the location is superb!

Fabulous location. Within walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Staff were most helpful, especially reception staff. Grounds were immaculate. Apartment had everything we needed if a little dated. Definitely recommend and would return.

Fabulous accommodation, excellent value, well maintained development, spotless clean. 5 minutes from all amenities. Super friendly staff and nice the staff put an bottle of rose wine in my property for my birthday.

It was a very comfortable and clean bungalow. I was traveling with my mother and sister and we found it very pleasant and safe

Fantastic stay at this resort. The apartment was large, spacious, very well equipped and spotless. The staff were all very friendly and responded quickly. We arrived at the property at 12 and were and to check in immediately. We had food and drink at the bar and it was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Second time here & it is ideal in it's location to the town, restaurants, bars, etc. We love the apartments, the gardens & the restaurant. The only things that slightly let it down this year was the swimming pool was not heated - this in Winter is a big reason for going - and the apartment was a little tired. It needs sprucing up. But it was still lovely.

Having stayed in Las Casitas for hundreds of weeks since 1987 we know what to expect. We know that check in states 4pm but most visitors are in there villa long before that time. Our villa was cleaned by 11.30. We know this as we were on site at 10.00am. From the bar area we could see the cleaner in there. But the vindictive manager chose to send 2 cleaners at 15.05 to spend no more than 2 minutes sweeping up outside. When asking if our villa was ready at 15.25 we were told it needs checking. At 15.45 we were told our villa was ready. I said no it wasn’t as it still hadn’t been checked. But after picking up our bags and walking no more than 50m the lady checking the villa appeared. I won’t go into why we were victimised as I will be reporting directly to the CEO of Ona/Wimpen. Marks for the manager 0.5/10 not a professional site manager at all. Marks for Jessica and Nadia the receptionist 9.5/10. The site around the pool area is extremely tired. Gardens are lovely. Bar restaurant is extremely well run by Craig and his top class staff.

Excellent stay, staff welcoming and helpful. Complex is spotless and well maintained. Walking distance to everything needed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

The bathroom in the villa was pretty dirty. In need of a deep clean. I have notified the relevant people and sent photos. The villa’s are supposed to be checked before occupancy but this is just not happening

The location is excellent and at the centre of Playa Blanca. The Villa was contemporary, newly decorated and tasteful. All the white goods were new and everything clean and sterile. The grounds were immaculately maintained. The pool was lovely and warm, the staff were all polite and helpful, the only downside was they are fully booked for the summer, I know why!

Another stay at Las Casitas. We have rented 3 weeks here in the last months. Every time we get a villa by the road. As the windows and doors are poor there is lots of traffic noise. I’ve got another booked in April let’s see what happens then.

Pool was warm, not big but ok for swimming. All staff very friendly

Safe needed a new door. Fixed immediately. Massive gap to the outside of both the bedroom window and French doors. This allowed a lot of traffic noise to come in. Sofa and chair are awful so low as well. Beds great. Water from shower runs all over the floor as the falls are wrong

Good weather, pool heated to a good temp, surroundings were nice and clean and the bar had a great atmosphere, bungalows were clean and good in size with everything we needed.

Fantastic place! Relaxing, spacious property, great location, friendly staff, quiet, good food, heated swimming pool....I could go on. It is as good as the reviews said. Had a really good break. Thank you to all the staff 👍

The villa was tidy but the sofa and chairs were awful. Didn’t pay for building works noise. Was going to complain but the reception was closed all day

Excellent resort, particularly suitable for older people. There is a large supermarket 5 mins walk away and Las casitas is perfectly placed for access to the town, beaches and the port. A lovely marina is a short drive away

Nice gardens

Las Casitas is a lovely little complex. A little tired in places. The bar and staff are great. Would deffo book again.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in, location was spot on, within walking distance to everything, staff was amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, pool was fab, very quiet and a great size, villas were great in size, had everything you needed and very private , will definitely come here again

Very friendly staff. Lovely large heated pool with plenty of sunbeds. Comfortable and well equipped villa. Close to bus station, shops, supermarket, promenade, and beaches. Very clean. Beautiful, well tended grounds. Most villas are quiet, but a few near the road will hear the traffic. Free laundry and washing powder. Well priced bar, good evening entertainment, bingo and quiz. We would happily stay there again!

It was amazing

I liked the location, very easy to get to the shops and beaches. My Villa was very good, the pool was lovely and the grounds were beautifully landscaped with plants and flowers.

Perfect location. Only downside was informed to collect keys from the bar because we areived after 7, the bar was shut...lucky enough another couple had the security codefoe the safe bix

V friendly and accomodating staff

Great resort, readily accessible to the promenade and beaches at playa Blanca. Very well equipped apartment. Comfortable, and exactly what I needed.

The bungalows are well spaced with beautiful gardens. The pool area was quiet (no fighting over sunbeds). An oasis of peace when compared to a normal hotel. A large supermarket is just across the road. And the bus station 100m walk away

Good quality villa situated within well kept grounds with pool and bar. The complex is only a few minutes walk from the harbour and town beech.

Although the bungalows are somewhat older they are very well maintained and in good condition. All amenities were available. We particularly liked having the small garden and sitting area out front along with a lovely grill. Location was very convenient to the town and area beach. The grounds of the complex are beautifully maintained - compliments to the gardening staff. Bathroom was recently nicely renovated. Ample parking close to the complex. Lovely bar area by the pool for enjoying the evening. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Reception spoke English, area was right beside the Playa Blanca strip, our apartment was right at the back of the resort but there is a secondary gate there which they give you the key for so literally go out the apartment door, out the gate, cross the road and there's all the restaurants and shops you could want. Shared swimming pool was fine in the resort, we didn't stay long as we can't swim to start with but it was fun to try. The rooms were fairly spacious, although bedroom could be bigger, most of the space is taken up by the kitchen/living area. Furniture was pretty old but honestly didn't bother us as we were on holiday not decorating our own house. Great location - probably the best in Playa Blanca, good facilities, and good accomodation

Bar closed being refurbished skips builders vans and material taking up car park. Should have been stated when booking. Pool and apartment Complex excellent and close to centre. would use again, if going back to Playa Blanca.

The resort was undergoing renovation and the bar was closed. A lot of noise and dust. We should have been warned about this in advance.

No problems and very relaxing, great pool so swam most days. Plenty of nearby places to eat and lots of variety. Would definitely holiday there again.

We did enjoy the convenient location and the homey feeling of the complex. Landscaping around the units and pool was beautiful.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, contacted us before travel to ascertain arrival time (which was some hours prior to check-in time), as such our accommodation was available right away. Complex was very tidy and swimming pool was covered every night when closed. Small bar with reasonable prices. Considering a return trip at a later date.

It was very well kept. Nothing was a problem. People running reception and bar were very friendly. Any minor issues were fixed or sorted without any delay or gripes. Lifeguards were absolutely amazing and had great time for kids. Gardens were immaculate too.

Warm swimming pool a real bonus. Swimming pool towels, shampoo, shower gel and washing powder for washing machines all provided free of charge. Ideal location in playa Blanca.

The huge plus is the superb heated pool.Swimming in February was wonderful. Location is great very near the beach and shops of lovely Playa Blanca. My bungalow had the sun all day so sitting in the garden was great.Inhad no 16.

The pool is lovely & warm allowing swimming even on a cool day. The grounds are well maintained, the apartments clean & the staff friendly. The food at the bar is poor, both in quality & choice.

From the great communication from staff before our stay, to the friendly welcome and the hard work of all the housekeeping staff, our 1st impressions have been great. Beautifully mature landscaped grounds with colourful plants and trees. Swimming pool area is large and clean there are always plenty of sun beds available. Bar and restaurant are run very efficiently by a friendly and helpful family. Food seems well priced. The villas are equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. From a blender, coffee machine, small dishwasher, all the kitchen utensils and pans etc you would expect to find at home, even plastic tubs for storage and bbq utensils to use on the built-in bbqs on the patio. They really do seem to have thought of everything. Larger than usual sized fridge with a small freezer compartment. As well as a hob there is an oven too which we found very useful. The living and dining room furniture has recently been upgraded and the bathrooms are now undergoing refurbishment, along with new pergolas and patio furniture. There are also two washing machines in the luggage store room which guests are welcome to use at no extra charge. They even provide the washing powder. We found this very useful. This is a small, peaceful complex, a lot of the villas being inhabited by timeshare owners (I myself being a new owner) Our 1st impressions have been great and they have lived up to all the reviews we have read previously.

Staff at this hotel with amazing and generally the condition of the property was good, but there were limited amenities beyond the lovely pool. This worked really well for us, as we mainly wanted to go and explore the local town and rest of the island, but it may not for someone with children or who hopes to go to a resort they would not leave very often. It was explained to us on arrival that we could attend the sister resort's evening entertainment, but we did not. Also we went to used to washing machines that were available free of charge which we thought was fantastic to have you ever had a school stuck inside because they were so old! however the staff were great in helping sort the problem out and they were literally replacing the machines next day. We would go back because as a centrally located relaxing easy place, it was great for us.

We stayed in a lovely one bedroom villa set in well maintained attractive gardens. The area was private and peaceful yet close to the resort centre. Villas were cleaned mid stay and beds changed. The pool area was well maintained and the pool heated. The bar was open all day and until late at night but only offered toasted sandwich to eat. Staff wee plentiful, friendly and most helpful.

Individual little villas that make the guests feel at home - great for those who are not that much into the whole huge-all-inclusive-resort experience. We had a bedroom and a living room with a kitchen annex (full-size fridge, stove, sink, cooking utensils, dining table), so could relax and do our own things in our own time.

Well maintained property in great location for beach , shops and restaurants

The grounds of Las Casitas are very well kept, and the villas are very well stocked with everything you may need. The location of Las Casitas is excellent, being only a five minute walk to the harbour. It is also only a five minute walk to the local SuperDino supermarket which is the largest in the area. Amenities wise, there is a large swimming pool (and smaller kiddies pool) which during our stay was never over crowded. There is a lifeguard on duty each day as well, which is reassuring. The bar area is a good size, serving good spirit measures and one beer on tap. Entertainment when we were there was a pub quiz on Tuesday evening, and a Karaoke night on Sunday. Reception is spotless and all the staff we spoke to during our stay were friendly and professional.

A perfect holiday, the 2 bed apartment was a great size for us and the free air conditioning/safe/pool towels were a pleasant surprise. Never a problem with getting a sunbed around the pool. The reception were always helpful and informative. Highly recommend this complex

Villa was spacious and the photos did not do it justice. Always enough room around the pool no matter what time you went. Good value snacks at the bar and the pool table and WiFi was a bonus for our teenage boys.

Location was ideal - close to restaurants, beaches and shops. Beds really comfortable and the apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Free toiletries and use of washing machines and pool towels. We went out most evenings so can’t comment on the entertainment at the accommodation but it did seem very quiet and quite late if any. Very relaxing and pretty place. Will definitely return

A fabulous holiday

Fantastic location close to beach and harbour staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond expectations to facilitate our stay. Room was exceptionally clean and a lovely touch was given with a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh flowers in the room. No understatement to say, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Just come back from here and we were pleased that all pics and description were spot on! Location was so much more than we expected. From our dwelling it took under 3minutes to get on to the promenade , filled with restaurants and plenty of shops. Everything spotless on this complex. We expected quiet...but maybe just too quiet. Would highly recommend for a quiet relaxed stay.

Accommodation of high standard with all equipment needed for stay. Very close to restaurants, bars , shops and sea. Lovely coastal walk starts two minutes away from villa. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Had a great stay and room was spotlessy clean. Very helpful staff as well. Perfect location to be able to walk across the road into town but also very quiet location and hotel. Would definitely return.

Collection of “villas” (bungalows), with a holiday camp feel. Nice swimming pool, nice bar & restaurant very reasonably priced “pub grub”. Accommodation now looking quite dated but well maintained. Sister complex Las Brisas next door, very similar. Good for a week or so, but basic. Very handy for shops & restaurants on the sea front promenade, also near to the ferry port for trips to Fuerteventura. Recommended for a budget holiday close to amenities.

A very nice little complex. Great pool heated to 28 degrees. A little dated and starting to show its age. Could do with some modernisation but still quite comfy. Cleaning standards have fallen slightly since our previus visit. Lots of cobwebs in villa 22. But you can't beat the very handy location.

Just set back from the promenade. Quiet mainly recidential apartments set in nice surroundings. Lovely pool area .well maintained .can't fault the place. Mainly mature residents and guests. A bit of road noise but not too bad.
