La posizione è veramente ottima per muoversi in città a piedi. La struttura si trova in ZTL: nei dintorni si trovano alcuni parcheggi a pagamento. (Sconsiglio peraltro l’utilizzo del parcheggio multipiano atm a chi ha una vettura di grandi dimensioni: le rampe di accesso ai piani sono veramente strette) Sempre negli immediati dintorni si trovano molti locali e ristoranti. Camera con condizionatore ben funzionante (indispensabile) Il servizio alla reception è stato accogliente e cordiale, molto disponibile anche a farci accedere alle camere fin anticipo rispetto all’orario di check in previsto.

Come comunque riportato in modo trasparente dal sito dell’hotel, l’accesso alla struttura avviene tramite scale abbastanza ripide; inoltre le scale a chiocciola, in particolare rendono impraticabile l’accesso con bagagli pesanti o grandi. Nella mia camera i tarli lasciavano continuamente la loro 'polvere' sui cuscini! Struttura ‘datata’; Pulizia così così . Tendaggi poco puliti Non è preciso il cambio asciugamani (sostituiti ‘a caso’ anche se lasciati sul pavimento) Odore ristagnante nel bagno Colazione purtroppo ordinaria, solo sufficiente (per essere a Trapani le aspettative erano molto più alte).

Siamo arrivati al B&B e subito ci hanno portato alla stanza. Molto cordiali, all'inizio Ci hanno mostrato la camera e poi ci hanno laciato. Cominciamo a dire che la nostra sistemazione constava di un soggiorno con angolo cottura (che si paga 5 euro al giorno per occupante della stanza) con divano, tavolo e divano. Subito abbiamo notato che il tavolo era pieno di briciole del pasto degli occupanti precedenti. La condensa dell'aria condizionata aveva causato macchie di muffa sul muro. La copertura del divano era macchiata e sostanzialmente sporca. Il bagno piccolo e con macchie di umidità sul muro della doccia, con i prodotti detergenti per il corpo già aperti, probabilmente dagli inquilini precedenti. La stanza da letto, ultima stanza in linea d'aria, non veniva servita dal condizionatore e molto calda. Al momento di andare a dormire (ore 10 di sera) abbiamo aperto il letto, constatando macchie di sangue sul lenzuolo e di rossetto sul cuscino. Abbiamo contattato immediatamente la responsabile, che ci ha comunicato che non era a Trapani e non sapeva se aveva possibilità di darci una nuova stanza in sostituzione. In più continuava a parlarmi sopra, (giustificandosi dicendo che i siciliani sono fatti così) non lasciandomi la possibilità di spiegare. Non ha creduto alle mie parole ed ha mandato una persona del ristorante della struttura a verificare. La persona che è venuta, non ha potuto far altro che constare che noi stavamo affermando il vero. A questo punto la titolare mi ha richiamato, proponendomi un alloggio verificato su Booking che aveva disponibilità di una stanza, senza nemmeno aver verificato con una chiamata. Ci ha proposto di andare a piedi (15 minuti alla struttura).. Impossibile con le valige!! Gli abbiamo imposto di pagarci il taxi ed ha convenuto. Abbiamo chiamato noi la nuova struttura per verificare l'effettiva disponibilità della stanza.

We found the WIFI was very inconsistent, when we asked about this we were told it was our devices. The evening staff were not really interested in helping with any of our requests. Breakfast, we thought was fairly basic. Room was very small. Old town beautiful, however beach covered in sea grass making it unpleasant.

Ai Lumi est un super emplacement pour découvrir Trapani du matin au soir. Les équipes sont très sympathiques et disponibles.

Du fait de l'ancienneté du bâtiment, il y avait pas mal de dépôt de saletés provenant du plafond et de tous petits insectes sur le lit. La clim est assez bruyante mais elle fonctionne bien !

Starinski hotel v tipičnem siciljanskem stilu, v samem centru mesta, odlične restravracije na vsakem koraku. Hotel je bil čist, vendar so v sobi bile mravlje.

Zelo skop zajtrk kar se tiče izbire, koruzni kosmiči, navadni jogurt, ena vrsta kruha, ki je bil vedno suh, rogljički, ena vrsta salame, dve vrsti sira, maslo, dve vrsti marmelade, nekaj peciva in sadja, to je vse. Pomarančni sok si si moral sam iztisniti. Motili so me tudi pastični kozarci.

Camera piccolina ma molto carina in un bellissimo palazzo storico. Ottima posizione in pieno centro e a pochi minuti a piedi dal porto e dalle fermate dell'autobus per/dall'aeroporto. Ottima la colazione e personale molto gentile Ottimo anche il ristorante

La escalera de caracol para acceder a la habitación. Se indica en la página, pero se torna muy incómoda para subir con valijas.

Premesse cordialità e supporto del personale tutto sin dal nostro arrivo, ho trovato camere veramente ospitali e dotate di quanto necessario. Posizione centrale per godere del centro di Trapani a piedi. Colazione a buffet buona, secondo me migliorabile

We had an amazing stay at Ai Lumi and would love to come back. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived late for check-in, but everything was made so easy thanks to the clear instructions, photos, and videos showing exactly how to access the property. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was served outdoors in a beautiful, charming street, making every morning a wonderful experience. The breakfast was generous and varied, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, cakes, and freshly baked croissants. We could also order delicious cappuccinos, which made it even better. The hotel has an authentic Italian charm and a wonderful atmosphere that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality, kindness, and excellent service. You truly made our stay special. We highly recommend Ai Lumi and hope to return again soon.

Staff were very friendly, the location was good, in centre and within short walk to harbour. The room decoration was nice and the balcony in the upper floor was large.

The bed mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were old, weary and lumpy. Also, in my booking confirmation it said 1 large double bed and 1 single bed, but it only had one double bed and one sheet. Sofa was weary and uncomfortable to sit in. Bathroom, specially the shower cubicle was small and not really a clean one. Now ventilation in the bathroom, so in the summer it became close to unbearable to use it. Airconditioner was very loud.

The building is beautiful, the staff very kind

The value for money. I paid 375£ for 2 nights, because the last room available was a suite. The room was big and well decorated. However for this room rate I expect to have at least a bottle of water to welcome the guests, not just one mini bottle of shampoo and shower gel for two guests for two nights. The breakfast was good, the jams were homemade but we got single use plastic glasses for the drinks, this is not environment friendly.

Très bel établissement, en plein cœur de la ville, idéalement situé, dans cette très belle ville de trapani. Chambre charmante et authentique. Attention plafond de la salle de bain un peu bas pour les grandes personnes et escalier en colimaçon pour monter à la chambre. Petit déjeuner en terrasse dans le restaurant en bas, avec un choix varié salé et sucré. Le personnel est accueillant et répond à nos demandes. Attention au stationnement, zone ztl réservé aux résidents. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

The access to the room is somewhat inconvenient, and there is also a spiral staircase that did not feel entirely safe. I would not recommend it for older guests or anyone with limited mobility. Other than that, everything was great.

Great location and charming property, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, cute little balcony looking onto the main walk way, handy location with great restaurants and everything walkable.

Ubytovanie sa nám veľmi páčilo, splnilo naše očakávania, miesto dýcha históriou a úžasnou atmosférou, izba nádherná, čistá, personál milý, reštaurácia top, ubytovanie blízko prístavu. Naše 10ročné výročie svadby sme si vo vašom hoteli a meste užili. Ďakujeme.

Bellissimo edificio storico, arredato con gusto e personalita'.

Molto ripide le scale. Non adatto a persone con mobilita' ridotta. Lo staff ha portato su le nostre valigie con un verricello, almeno non e' stato faticoso!

The apartment was directly in the city center, at the main street with lot of restaurants and bars. 5 minutes walk to the port. City beaches were close but not very suitable for whole day on the beach. Better beach was 40 minutes by walk. Personal was really nice, especially woman who was making breakfast- she was lovely. Selection for breakfast was not so big , but for few days trip it was okey (we were missing vegetables). It was more kind of homemade breakfast , with delicious sweer pastry :)

The room was small, without balcony. It was old style room. There was little bit dust on the ground and we saw also few ants. But they cleaned and changed towels every day. Wifi connection in our room was very poor as well.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Sehr gemütliche Zimmer in einem historischen Gebäude. Sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück war gut und für ein B&B vielseitig.

Unique building and architecture

While there are some positives about this accommodation, I am Writing this review to advise people as to what to expect. While this falls into the category of simple accommodation you should be aware that it is very basic, it has a great location and it is clean, But beds are soft , pillows need replacing, and breakfast was one of the least appealing we have had in Italy. We should have reviewed this more before our arrival. We hope others will understand what to expect.

Il b e b è al 1 piano senza ascensore di un bellissimo palazzo. era necessario ,a mio avviso, specificarlo meglio che non c era ascensore, Anche se un piano a piedi, con il bagaglio è noioso ! Inoltre Il bagno avrebbe bisogno di un aggiornamento.

A great location, although the nearest free parking is a 15 minute walk away. Breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. There are a lot of stairs, but there's a winch for transporting heavy bags to the rooms. I've never seem that before!

The municipal authorities in Trapani are very keen to tow away your car so be careful.
