Staff are amazing and the property is incredibly beautiful

The People. The front desk staff were amazing, very welcoming, and happy to give directions, suggestions, make reservations. The best meal we had in Venice was at their suggestion. The decore was charming, breakfast delicious. Great location. Would go back.

Nirvana was incredibly welcoming and helpful arranging everything from a tour of Murano to a water taxi to the airport. Breakfast in the garden was delightful. The room and public spaces were beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

The room could use a little more lighting.

Service was world class, location was great.

The hotel is a small, charming property. Breakfast was excellent and served in a small patio behind the entrance hall. Giulia, behind the desk, was a gem and very helpful. The location also worked well for exploring the city.

All of the squares and piazzas in Venice seemed to be busy and active, except the one nearest to the hotel. It seemed a bit down on its heels and would benefit from an additional establishment or 2. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault.

The breakfast was simple, but delicious. I really appreciated the air conditioner. Everything was comfortable and had an overall nice style.

Really beautiful hotel with comfortable facilities, very friendly hosts and excellent breakfasts. Central location that also feels peaceful.

Beautiful charming boutique hotel in the perfect location close to the Designer stores and wonderful restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The courtyard was so pretty and charming. Staff were very nice! Room was beautiful with silk wall coverings and nice bathroom. Nice linens. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, tastefully furnished. All staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely in a pleasant setting inside or out.

Room whilst adequate and spotlessly clean it was very small. Hanging space did not allow for longer dresses

Tolle Lage, mittendrin und doch in einer Seitengasse abseits vom Trubel, deshalb auch nachts sehr leise. Das Frühstück wird serviert. Die Auswahl ist klein aber sehr fein (zB Ei, Prosciutto, Joghurt, frisches Obst, Müsli) und bietet alles, was man braucht. Bei Schönwetter in einem winzigen Hinterhof. Die Angestellten sind wirklich sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Sie helfen mit Insidertipps, Restaurantvorschlägen oder buchen ein Wassertaxi. Da das Hotel nur wenige Zimmer hat, erspart man sich den klassischen Hoteltrubel. Von den anderen Gästen kriegt man außer beim Frühstück kaum was mit. Auch die Rezeption ist nur untertags besetzt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

19 yes ago we loved the honesty bar - I can understand why that facility is no longer available (people may be more dishonest). Cold drinks served pre-dinner/aperitivo would be a nice touch (paid for) (for say an hour) - but I understand that may be difficult to manage from a staff perspective!

Boutique Hotel Novecento is a true gem for a stay in Venice, is centrally located, yet off the beaten path. The staff, especially Nicoletta, are incredibly helpful and can arrange for anything you need, from dinner recommendations and reservations to transfers to the airport or cruise port. Breakfast on the patio feels like you are in the garden of someone's home, and the food each morning was outstanding. The rooms are large and comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. The hotel is superbly decorated and offers many areas to just sit and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

As with 98% of the hotels in Venice, there is no elevator. However, the staff will happily help get those big bags to your room, so this is not a complaint.

Neben dem sehr geschmackvoll außergewöhnlich ausgestattetem Zimmer gab es einen großen Salon in der selben Ebene , der zum Aufenthalt zur Verfügung stand. Im Erdgeschoss stand uns rund um die Uhr eine Gästebar mit Früchten, Nüssen Gebäck und der Möglichkeit zur Kaffe/Teezubereitung zur Verfügung der auch dort neben der wunderschönen Terasse im Innenhof in einem Wohnzimmer genossen werden konnte. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich bei der Planung z.B. zur Bienale. Das Frühstück wurde am Tisch serviert mit tollem Angebot incl. Müsli und Früchten.

Die Unterkunft inkl. Kommunikation, Service, Frühstück und Sauberkeit war fantastisch - wir kommen gern wieder!

We had to leave early for airport on last day and when we enquired about breakfast - which we had paid for - were told that they didn’t start breakfast till 8:00 so we could not have any. We were offered milk so that we could make a coffee. The hotel provides, as standard, a communal fruit basket, walnuts and biscuits so that was available but it’s not breakfast. Very unusual not to have something. The breakfasts at the hotel were fabulous and included fruit, yoghurt and toppings. I’m not sure why we could not have had been given that for our room fridge. The annoying thing was, when we went downstairs at 6:45 am, there was someone in the kitchen making preparations for breakfast. It would not have hurt to give us something.

Everything was great. The location was perfect and the breakfast was plentiful and really good. The room was large and comfortable and the whole property had a lovely warm and welcoming feel.

Just a small thing, but would have been nice to have facility to make coffee in the room.

This hotel is adorable as it is tucked off of an alley. As a boutique hotel, they exceeded our expectations from the helpful service and suggestions, to the wonderful breakfast and sleeping accommodations. You feel like you are living in a nice apartment in Venice while having service and help readily available.

It is a short walk from the canal taxi drop off that you need to cross a bridge or 2. It is not on the canal so it isn't a surprise that there is a little walking involved, but carrying luggage up bridges is always fun.

I would have preferred more traditional/ opulent decoration in our room - it was a bit on the contemporary side. I would have loved a reading light by the bed.

The hotel and rooms were lovely, with a great relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great location to stay in Venice!

Stunning design led boutique hotel, where every detail is thought through. Has a stunning garden and is close to the boat stop. The team were also incredible. Thank you so much for looking after us so well!

Just perfect

Staff were lovely and very helpful, the location was excellent down a quiet road, but with 10mins walk of Piazza Saint Marco.

Our room and bathroom was very small. I’m assuming due to the age and size of the building, there was no lift, so we had to carry our cases up 4 flights of stairs.

A really lovely boutique hotel, very quiet but in an ideal location, the staff were great and very helpful. Good sized room with very comfortable bed, very nice breakfasts.

Our only negative was the lack of storage in our room no drawers and limited wardrobe space meaning we had to leave a lot in our suitcase and get it off the top of the wardrobe every day which is not ideal for 6 nights!

absolutely beyond gorgeous boutique inn. best location i can imagine. clean, brilliantly decorated. the breakfast is out of this world. this was my third stay at this inn!!

Charming. Great location. Near San Marco and the Accademia bridge, but tucked out of the way on a quiet street.

The breakfast area could be arranged a bit more comfortably. Tiny tables crammed into corners. Two at a table was a crowd.

The family went above and beyond to show me with recommendations, reservations and overall kindness. The made fresh breakfast and chic common spaces were the cherry on top.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful location in an equally wonderful and enchanting city. The decor is tasteful and the room we stayed in was lovely backing into a small inner courtyard. The staff are incredibly helpful and well informed. We rec’d great suggestions of what to do and see from an insider’s perspective. Some of the staff we dealt with, notably Nicoletta snd Nirvana, are proud cool Venetians. They’re advice and support was superb and made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I will always stay with Novecento when in Venice. The hospitality extended to guests by the welcoming staff is beyond service, its completely an elevated experience.

Staff was excellent and breakfast was wonderful.

Hotel is located in a very narrow street. All staff leaves at 4 pm until the morning. The street is dark and hardly used in the evening and probably not a good match for a solo female traveler. I felt uncomfortable walking to the hotel when dark.

Me gusto todo muchisimo pero quiza la habitacion y baño un poco pequeña.

Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The building was full of beautiful paintings and comfortable furniture. It felt more like a home that a hotel. It was beautiful and comfortable. After our arrival, we were offered refreshments and were able to sit in the beautiful courtyard full of flowers. The Staff was outstanding and was able to help us with all our needs. It is nestled just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk everywhere. It made our trip to Venice special.

It is beautifully tranquil and close to everything ..home from home with a great team who really look after you without being invasive! Complimentary water, fruit and tea and a wonderful breakfast. Plus a free glass of wine at their sister hotel was a wonderful surprise! Take a little walk to the pier and watch the sun set …no crowds simply wonderful xxx
