Amazing B&B!! Looked after incredibly well and the owners are very friendly. Love the entire experience. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

We were only there for 1 night and it was the last night of there season. The owners are lovely and gave us great advice on places to see. We loved the decor and our room was spacious with a comfy bed. I would not hesitate to stay there again

Tom and Marla run a great operation. The rooms were clean and attractive and the beds very comfortable. I was very impressed.

We really liked the size of the room , the A/C worked amazing , great choice of healthy breakfast food & Tom & Marla are great hosts . We hope to stay again next year !!!

Great little b&b, the owners were lovely and super helpful. We stayed in a room with an ensuite, whilst old interior, it was comfortable and clean. The gardens were nice and great parking options. Continental breakfast was on offer, no hot options, it would have been nice to have had an option for a cooked egg etc. Also, as it was a full house, we were only given 30 minutes to eat & and have coffee before the next sitting came down. Not a big deal, a nice and easy stay for 1 night.

The property is fabulous with massive cedar trees in the yard. The house made baking that is a part of the breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning in our room was amazing as the temperature was 35C when we checked in. Quiet nights in an immaculately clean room made our stay a 5 star experience.

Our stay at Cedar Wood Lodge was lovely. The couple that own and operate the B&B were wonderful!! They were very helpful with their suggestions as to what to explore while in Port Alberni and let us know of the road closures and what time it was best to travel to Tofino. The room itself was very spacious, and clean. The decor could do with a bit of updating and the futon was a bit uncomfortable. The hightlight of our time at the B&B was truly the couple who ran it!! I would not hesitate to recommend their B&B!

The owners, Tom and Marla, are wonderful hosts. Because of covid restrictions, only a continental breakfast could be provided, but it was excellent.

The property is a b&b but found Tom & Marla a bit overwhelming. The rooms are clean & comfortable, however the street noise is continual throughout the night. It was our choice and elected not to have breakfast and came across that we were not following their rules. Would have been nice to have bedside table & LAMP on both side of bed.

The place was spotless, lots of loving care obviously goes into their establishment. It’s somewhat dated in appearance but easily overlooked knowing it’s spotless.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while making a quick visit to Tofino. Definitely not your chain hotel experience! Beautifully personal service from our hosts, who not only gave us extremely useful information about road construction closures on the way to the coast but also lent us towels and boogie boards for the beach. Our room was comfortable and quirky, and breakfast (cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, muffins, etc.) was lovely, even if it did have to come wrapped in too much plastic because of covid restrictions, something our hosts lamented from an ecological point of view. Would happily stay here again.

Hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. Many B&B's have given up trying to do the 'Breakfast' part of B&B during the COVID pandemic, but these hosts managed it, which we appreciated.

A quaint small Inn surrounded by an historic garden, for which the hosts have a passion for the knowledge and history of the property, and the many vacation destination within the area. The personal touches in antique decor adds to the charm and ambiance of the Inn. The morning continental breakfast full of home baked breads and pastries along with fresh fruit and a variety of home preserve jams and marmalades. A must stay

Great location and wonderful hosts. Rooms are very comfortable and many little extras. We were fishing early in the morning and they made us bagged breakfasts so big we had lunch too!

The property was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning also kept it very comfortable. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was. A cozy oasis that felt a bit like a stay at a trusted home or a trip to your parent's place. It was just perfect for us during a family wedding in the area. The selection from the cold breakfast offerings was extensive. Great coffee too! We highly recommend.

Zum Frühstück gibt es Croissant, Kuchen, Obst und Joghurt. Optisch sehr gut aufbereitet. Aber leider keinen Naturjoghurt. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, wenn auch nicht für jeden. Tom und Maria sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind klein aber sehr sauber. WLAN ist leider ganz schlecht. Unbedingt die Stamp Falls in der Umgebung besuchen! In Port Alberni unbedingt bei Pescadores Essen gehen!

We found the property well laid out, the amenities good and the hotel operator and wife very pleasant and accommodating. We would recommend this site to all persons interested in a quiet and yet informative stay in the Port Alberni area.

Beautiful grounds around the BNB - very serene. Owners are delightful. The bed was very comfortable. Large selection continental breakfast with delicious home baked goodies, cereals, yogurt, etc. An idea for future consideration: take orders for cooked breakfast the night before. The property is lovely and very traditionally furnished. Our room (#1) had a futon inside which was our “sofa” - not comfortable and very low. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hosts Tom and Marla were very helpful,professional and accommodating. They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure you were happy with your stay. Check-in was a breeze, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Restaurant recommendation was great. Nice garden, great breakfast, very friendly atmosphere and convenient location. The only small drawback of this property is the road noise.

Hosts were very gracious and friendly, room was clean,comfortable, and quiet. The only downside would be the lack of a protein with breakfast.
