SHAME ON THE GRAND HOTEL QUISISANA The Grand Hotel Quisisana is no longer “grand” in my eyes. During my visit, I was deeply disturbed to see that the Israeli flag that had been displayed on the portico over the hotel’s front entrance had been removed. For Jewish guests and visitors who see that flag as a symbol of solidarity and belonging, its removal sends a profoundly hurtful message. A luxury hotel that prides itself on international hospitality should make all of its guests feel welcome and safe—not create an atmosphere in which Jewish guests feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. This is not simply about a flag. It is about what a hotel chooses to communicate to its guests and to the world. At a time when antisemitism is a very real concern, removing a visible symbol of support for Israel is particularly troubling. The Quisisana has a long and prestigious history, but prestige means very little without principles. I am extremely disappointed. SHAME ON THE GRAND HOTEL QUISISANA.

Absolutely the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. We toured Italy on a Luxury Gold tour in May. All the hotels were beautiful but this place is stupendous. Everything about the hotel was marvelous. Best rooms, fabulous food, staff and two beautiful tennis courts.

★★★☆☆ (3/5) This was our third stay at the Grand Hotel Quisisana, and unfortunately it will also be our last. The hotel is still in a fantastic location in the heart of Capri, with elegant common areas and the level of service you would expect from a historic luxury property. However, this visit was disappointing because of the room we were assigned. Our room was located right next to the housekeeping storage area. While the noise itself wasn’t excessive, we were constantly running into housekeeping carts, chairs, cabinets and cleaning equipment every time we stepped outside. It definitely took away from the overall experience and didn’t feel appropriate for a hotel of this category. What made it even more disappointing is that we emailed the hotel several days before our arrival, mentioning that we were returning guests and hoping for a slightly more thoughtful room assignment. Instead, we received the exact opposite. A great hotel in a prime location, but this experience left us feeling undervalued as returning guests.

The Quisisana is one of the most special places in the world! Capri is magical and this hotel is in the best location on the Island. The staff of the hotel from check-in to every other department is superb. The Pool is wonderful! Bar Quisi is the best bar on the Island. The Concierge are the absolute BEST! I cannot say enough about how SPECIAL the Grand Hotel Quisisana is! Thanks to everyone who is always so nice and how special the hotel is, we continue to come back year after year!

The food was delicios, the location was perfect, and the breakfast weiv was simply putstanding. Having breakfast on this terace is true pleasure.

Family trip, booked three rooms. Very expensive and worth it. Great location in center of town. Outdoor front bar was a great place to relax, have a drink and people watch. Gym was well equipped but small.

The location of this historical property is great. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s a grand hotel with lots of history and attracts a high end clientele. The pool area is very nice. It feels like a little oasis in the middle of Capri. However, the rooms, while spacious, are quite dated especially considering the prices. With a modern update, this would be a fantastic hotel and worth the cost.

I really do hate to say this after looking forward to coming here - but probably would not stay again. The location and grounds cannot be surpassed. And service is great. But we had a 2 floor suite facing the pool - and it just felt old and poorly furnished (aside from the new and large tvs). No wall decor / art. Zero I mean zero floor coverings to soften the tiles. Even the marble stairs were bare and slippery. No counter space on bathrooms. And tiny bedside tables that hold nothing. Curtains hung in cheap plastic rings. It’s just not appropriate for an expensive luxury hotel. We just came from the Anatara in Amalfi where the room furnishings put this hotel go to shame. I will give props for the very good ac though.

This is our fifth consecutive stay in GHQ. Everything is just perfect. You hsve to book and stay in this palace for understand how perfect they are.

I recently stayed 3nights at Hotel Quisisana. The hotel very kindly upgraded our room to a Junior suite on arrival, the suite was very spacious with two bathrooms and direct access to the pool & gardens. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the concierge arranging our seamless transfer on arrival & helping us to book excursions, to the superb breakfast buffet with stunning views and live music every morning, to the great location of the hotel - right in the heart of Capri amongst the designer boutiques. I highly recommend this hotel as the place to stay for a memorable trip in Capri. I will definitely be back !

It is hard to find anything not to like, my only feedback is that there is no tea / coffee machine in the room.

What an incredible stay This hotel is iconic and only after spending a few days here, I understand why. Everything was extremely smooth, from arrival, to check in. They had upgraded our rooms to two rooms with the view on the city. Wow, just wow!!! We were there to celebrate our twins birthday and the management team had kindly thought of the cake. The hotel is right in the centre and so handy for everything . Despite being in the busy area, it feels magical and we are truly in love with it. The bar outside is an absolute must and the staff are wonderful and so attentive. I could spend hours writhing a review on this hotel but words will never do it justice. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back.

The Quisisana is gorgeous, in a prime location with beautiful facilities and views. The concierge and staff could not do enough for us during our stay.

Gorgeous Hotel and fantastic Lee professional staff. Room beautifully accommodated. You can watch Netflix and maybe some other streaming sites if you have an app. One criticism seems to be that the mini bar isn’t clear and they don’t necessarily give you water or tell you that it’s OK to drink from the top but they concierge takes care of your luggage when you come on the boat, to and from, at a price, but it’s just really really beautiful and first class.

Our stay at Grand Hotel Quisisana was nothing short of exceptional - truly a five-star experience from start to finish. We were visiting with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the entire stay felt incredibly special and thoughtfully curated. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and unexpected, setting the tone for what would be an outstanding visit. The level of service exceeded every expectation - the staff was attentive, genuinely kind, and impressively anticipatory. They knew who we were, made us feel recognized, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared for. The hotel itself is immaculate, with beautifully appointed rooms and a refined, classic atmosphere. Breakfast each morning offered a wonderful variety, and the service was seamless. The bar deserves special mention - the craftsmanship of the drinks was truly next level. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Capri and directly across from the island’s luxury shopping district, making it perfect for strolling and people-watching from the terrace. And the views? Absolutely world-class and incomparable. There’s so much more I could say, but simply put: this is a place that makes you feel pampered and appreciated at every turn. I would return without hesitation.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Grand Hotel Quisisana—truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, and the team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. We were generously upgraded on arrival, and throughout our stay we were surprised with thoughtful touches like champagne, fresh fruit, a cake, and the most beautiful flowers and roses. Every detail felt intentional and genuinely kind. The hotel itself is stunning—perfectly located, beautifully maintained, and full of classic Capri charm. The spa was excellent and a great way to relax during our stay. Service across the board was exceptional—warm, attentive, and seamless.

Visited Quisisana as part of our 38th wedding anniversary and it was beyond all expectations. The management and staff could not have done more for us, we where made to feel very special. Thank you.

We have always stayed in this Hotel and loved it but unfortunalty it hasn't moved with the times rooms are tired still got the old jacuzzis sun beds are so close together round pool and not even padded like a 5 star hotel The only good thing is sitting outside at night watching the people watch The furniture in the entrance all needs changing so old fashioned Breakfast basic have to pay extra for berries and some eggs It is clean but we did not get the family friendliness last time the concierge are really efficient and nice as are the reception But now we will stay at La Palma and go to their beautiful beach club by air con car

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Sitting on the front terrace enjoying a beverage while watching the people parade by was special. Strolling through town, enjoying the sights made us feel at home. The room was large and perfectly appointed with a view of the Mediterranean. The pool was spacious and welcoming.

The view from our room was phenomenal at this luxury Italian hotel and resort. Service was incredible on all levels and areas. Rooms were impeccable and spacious. This is a perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy a more upscale vacation in Capri. We look forward to our next visit!

This is quite a royal hotel and so accommodation is a royal experience. It is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed but it is expensive, although well worth it. The most important and positive aspect of this hotel and the whole experience is the staff. Very friendly, professional, courteous, polite and genuine. Just for these good people, I’d definitely go back again.

One of the best hotels in the world. Everything about the hotel is perfection from the facility, the food and the amazing staff. The rooms are also amazing and the bedding so comfortable. Breakfast is ok. Sufficient options. Ok quality. Just not impressed for the level of the hotel. Sub-optimum breakfast service. Very small rooms, extremely tiny beds. But comfortable. Extremely expensive for…. What reason!!

The Grand Hotel Quisisana is a perfect resort. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is right in the center of town so everything is easy to get to. And it's Capri, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Highly recoment it. Ron

Just returned from a visit to Capri and a revisit at the Quisisana. I can't say enough good things about this magnificent property. The moment you walk in the door you are warmly greeted by members of their amazing and accommodating staff. No request is too much for them. The rooms, while always lovely have undergone updates. We were lucky enough to get one of the suites modeled after those filmed at this hotel in the movie Another Simple Favor. It was the most beautiful, dreamy room you can imagine with the added benefit of a balcony overlooking the verdant property and the sea. Five star location in every respect.

This was our 3rd visit to the Quisisana and the best yet. Excellent staff, grand facilities and set in the heart of the island. Excellent for a family visit if you like class and high standards.

One of my best hotel experiences ever! I was in Capri some years ago, having a cocktail on the terrace thinking it would be nice to stay at this hotel. It is far beyond all my expectations. You are treated like a VIP from you step inside. Everything is very professional and the staff are so polite and nice. The service overall is excellent. The ambience could not be better, it is just amazing. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a very nice room with amazing view. The rooms are spacious, bathroom really nice and it feels like being in a movie at a very fancy Italian place. Think authentic Italian hotel at its best, and this is it. Nice pool area, gym and wellness center. Bar and restaurant. I don’t want to leave. I would rather stay here for a short period than for a week another place. So worth it. New favorite place to stay in Europe, never experienced anything better. Beats Paris, Rome, Cote de azur, costa del sol, you name it.
