Great villa right on the beach at the quieter end which was perfect. Our host Diem was amazing and so helpful, organising a driver for us and giving us lots of tips and information about the local area.

Perfect location, literally 1 minute walk to the beach. Down the quiet end with no through traffic, very private. Walkable to most places. Diem and the whole team provided amazing service. Breakfast was delicious. Diem was very responsive with communication and gave many great recommendations and advice for our stay. The villa itself was immaculate with beautiful gardens and lots of little touches that made our stay very comfortable

Die Unterkunft liegt 2 min zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt und liegt sehr ruhig aber 5 min zu Fuß bis zur „Hauptstraße“ wo dann Läden sind. Das Personal ist sehr nett und es hat einen familiären vibe. Man kann auch Wäsche machen 30k/1kg welche am nächsten Tag gefaltet wieder zurück ist. Frühstück bekommt man zu seiner Terrasse gebracht und es schmeckt sehr gut man kann auch locale Gericht zum Frühstück wählen.

Narrow alley to the accomodation which was fine to walk along but no taxis can get down them.

Wij hadden 2 bungalows, ideaal geleden, bijna op het strand. Via een achteruitgang loop je zo het strand op. Met grab regel.je zo een taxi naar Hoi An, kosten ongeveer 2,60 euro. Huisjes zijn ruim, schoon, goede douche, heerlijk bed. Buitenruimte is ook ideaal. Met een buitendouche, iets om je natte spullen op te hangen, buitenbed. We hadden het liefts nog wat langer gebleven.

Zur Begrüßung gab es einen leckeren Welcome-Drink 😀. Die Strandvilla war genau wie beschrieben und das Meer nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Diem, die Gastgeberin kam zur Begrüßung vorbei und war für Fragen, Wünsche und Tipps gerne erreichbar.

Formidable localisation quasiment sur la plage, au cœur d’un village très mignon avec énormément de facilités : matelas, restaurants, cafés, massages, blanchisserie… Et Diem, notre hôtel est une mine d’informations sur tout ce qui peut se visiter ou pour aider sur importe quel sujet. Diem nous organisé une visite vers Hué et nous a mis en contact avec un formidable tailleur.

On serait resté volontiers plus longtemps.

Diem and her team were amazing, so welcoming and hospitable. Lovely to wake up each morning to the sound of the sea, with a good coffee & banana pancake delivered to your door! The property is the last building before the beach but a short walk to shops & restaurants. We loved An Bang Beach. Hoi An is a short & easy taxi ride away so easy to pop in for shopping etc… but so busy!! We preferred the peace & quiet of the beach. It was so helpful having Diem’s local knowledge for services & restaurants.

Die Lage der Unterkunft direkt am Strand ist toll. Morgens gibt es individuelles Frühstück, wenn man mag auch vietnamesisch. Diem spricht hervorragend Englisch und hilft bei allem. Es war wirklich sehr erholsam und wir kommen gern wieder.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, notamment grâce aux deux points forts de ce lieu: - l'emplacement (si vous voulez pousser la porte du jardin et être directement sur la plage c'est l'idéal) - le service exceptionnel de notre hôte Diêm An. Communication très fluide et détaillée, de très nombreuses recommandations de qualité (restaurants, café, tailleurs - Lamy testé et approuvé !) qui permettent de se laisser porter et d'être en confiance. We liked everything, the host Diễm was incredibly helpful and friendly, the other local staff were wonderful and so accommodating. The position was ideal, down a quiet laneway, with a direct pathway to the beach at the back gate. Breakfast each morning on our beautiful quiet garden verandah was delightful. Hideaway is down a quieter end of An Bang which is nice, but everything is just a short walk away. We highly recommended this perfect little “Hideaway”

Well placed right next to the quieter end of the beach with easy access to everywhere. The property was a mix of traditional old style bungalows set in lovely gardens but with modern, sleek stylish rooms. Diem, the manager was a truly beautiful soul. The breakfast pho was the best I’ve had (and I’ve had many - it’s a fave). This place isn’t just your average room in a hotel, it’s a complete experience of true Vietnamese hospitality.

Initialement prévus pour deux nuits, nous sommes finalement restés trois nuits supplémentaires tant l’endroit et l’expérience nous ont séduits. Le homestay est magnifique. La chambre est splendide, très design, avec des matériaux en béton lissé et une douche ouverte sur la lumière naturelle, ce qui crée une atmosphère idyllique. L’ensemble du lieu est paisible, parfait pour un séjour reposant, notamment pour une lune de miel comme la nôtre. Diem nous a donné de nombreux conseils précieux : cafés superbes au milieu des rizières, visites locales comme le sanctuaire de My Son à environ une heure en scooter (qui vaut le détour), ainsi que d’excellents restaurants dans le village. Tous ses conseils se sont révélés parfaits. Elle nous a également facilité la location de scooter directement sur place, ce qui était très pratique, ainsi que le service de blanchisserie, rapide et efficace. Le personnel est discret et attentionné, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. La plage est toute proche (20 m) et Hoi An est accessible en scooter en environ 20 minutes par une route magnifique entre les rizières. Le conseil d’éviter les heures de pointe entre 17h et 19h30 s’est avéré très pertinent. Nous avons aussi suivi ses recommandations pour un tailleur à Hoi An et avons été très satisfaits du résultat. Mention spéciale également à 3 Ladies Kitchen, sur la plage, tout proche, où l’accueil est adorable et la cuisine délicieuse, notamment le poisson grillé dans une feuille de bananier. Le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel. Diem est adorable et a largement contribué à rendre cette expérience inoubliable.

We loved the authenticity of the family compound. Everyone was very welcoming and Diem is a wonderful host who speaks excellent English and helped us with everything we needed. The proximity to the beach and town were amazing bonuses. The bed was super comfortable with cozy pillows and daily housekeeping. The breakfast is delicious and fresh cooked.

The lane way walk to the main road was a bit rugged for my wheelie bag.

Nous avons reçu un accueil exceptionnel au Hideaway, notamment grâce à Diem qui a été formidable dès notre arrivée. Elle nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Toujours disponible, chaleureuse et très professionnelle, elle a vraiment fait la différence. Son anglais est excellent, ce qui a grandement facilité nos échanges. Le logement est parfait : confortable, bien entretenu et idéalement situé au bord de la plage, loin de l’agitation des grands resorts. C’est l’endroit idéal pour vivre une expérience plus authentique à Hoi An. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !

Great location close to the beach. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was really good. We loved our stay.

A/C didn’t work well, but they said they were going to fix it, so it should not be a problem for the next guest. Mattress is old and dirty, and they needed new sheets as the sheets were stained.

Het personeel was super aardig. De host Diem hielp ons bij al onze vragen en had allemaal tips zodat wij dat zelf niet hoefde uit te zoeken. De tuin was mooi onderhouden en het terras was heerlijk om te luieren met uitzicht op de tuin.

Cannot recommend enough! A 20 second walk and you’re on the beach :) the team was lovely and made some of the better Pho we had.

This was one of our favourite places we stayed during our whole long trip to Vietnam. Diem was so kind and communicative from before we arrived to after we’d left and gave us so many helpful tips and recommendations for the area. The room is spacious, beautifully designed and and an authentically Vietnamese home stay while also being right on the beach and with great access to all the restaurants and beach bars of An Bang. Breakfast was so generous, fresh and delicious and we loved sitting out on our private terrace listening to the sound of the waves so close. Would 100% recommend, and we will return if we can one day!

Sehr nette Inhaberin, die uns ausführlich mit wirklich guten Tips für Restaurant, Cafés und Ausflüge versorgt hat. Die Unterkunft am Ende einer kleinen Gasse war sehr ruhig (nur das Geräusch von Wellen und Wind). Das bei booking beschriebene Hundegebell war eher die Ausnahme und nie nachts zu hören. Leckeres Frühstück mit Hauptgericht, Kaltgetränk, Kafee oder Tee zur Auswahl. Dazu ein Obstteller.

Kein Meerblick (in An Bang aber bei kaum einer Unterkunft gegeben). Strand in der Vorsaison relativ schmal und verschmutzt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wetterbedingt Badeverbot in weiten Teilen (kann aber die Unterkunft nichts dafür)

Die Location ist toll, gleich beim Strand und sehr ruhig und etwas abgeschieden. In der Nähe sind tolle Restaurants. In die Altstadt führt ein netter Weg durch Reisfelder (ca. 1 h Gehzeit) oder sonst mit Grab (Taxi), geht auch ganz schnell!! Diem, unser Host hat eine wertvolle Arbeit gemacht. Sie ist sehr herzlich, gibt gute Tipps und hat uns einige Touren organisiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gemütlich!! Das Frühstück war super und wird auf der eigenen Terrasse genossen. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!!

What a gem of a place to stay!!! We love love loved it! Run by wonderful Diem, who was the most hospitable host, so kind and so helpful in ensuring we have happy days at Hideaway! She recommended really good restaurants, tailors and excursions and helped to arrange for them - she went above and beyond our expectations. The villa we came to enjoy was absolutely perfect for us: spacious, comfortable beds, moskito nets, A/C, fridge, modern style with traditional elements, a beautiful patio, outdoor shower, tropical garden… in the morning we could do yoga on the patio and enjoy our breakfast there (we recommend the pho and fruit salad!). Just a few steps out the garden gate there is the beach - the perfect beach! Fisher boats next to sunchairs, no loud music, beautiful sand and the best Vietnamese food prepared by the local ladies! We will try to come back - this place became very special to us!

The accommodation is so close to the beach! All the staff are lovely especially Diem. The accommodation is rustic but good value.

Hard to come up with anything. There is a 100m walk up the alley with your suitcases from where the Grab cars drop you off. Not easy to get vegan food for breakfast but the fruit and rolls are lovely. The shower wasn't working when we checked in but our host Diem, got someone there very quickly to fix it :)

It’s tucked away just by the beach and felt very private. It is kept spotlessly clean by the lovely staff. There was plenty of space for three of us, two adults upstairs and a child downstairs, plus a terrace outside. Diem, who manages the property, was absolutely charming and gave us excellent recommendations on trips, restaurants and shops plus an open offer to call her if we needed any help during our stay. A lovely peaceful hideaway which is a great base for exploring Hoi An (10 mins by taxi) and Danang

Une semaine sur place dans le bungalow double, 2 adultes et 2 adolescentes . Superbe endroit tenu par une personne exceptionnelle, Diem, qui a su organiser nos vacances dans ce petits paradis. Diem s'occupe de tout avec gentillesse extreme et rigueur, elle connait bien les gouts Européens, en plus de parler un Anglais impeccable. Personnel très chaleureux et fiable qui s'adapte à toutes les situations et autres demandes avec une réactivité hors du commun. Accès direct à la plage. Pas de bruit sauf ceux de la vie quotidienne, on est dans une petite urbanisation très sympa avec tout à proximité, resto, bars, supermarchés, massages, ongles... Bungalow TRES propre et très bien climatisé. Espace extèrieur "chill" avec lit de plage et ventilateur + frigo / évier extérieur. Les environs ont de quoi faire passer une semaine bien remplie avec chaque jour une activité différente. De plus, super temps en août, pas de pluie même s'il faisait un peu chaud. Que demander de plus??? Nous essayerons de revenir, encore merci Dïem.

Diem was a lovely person in charge of the everyday at the homestay. And it is a homestay, not a hotel (as I thought it would be). As such, there is a family vibe, excellent home cooked breakfast delivered to your door, help with sorting out a local SIM card and so much more. Its a minute from the beach and the beach is clean and the sea clear: no hazardous coral around. The place is also a minute away from a FANTASTIC restaurant: The Moon. Once you get to meet Diem, she will give you all local knowledge you need. I've moved from there to a fancy 5* resort now. I would have lived to have stayed at Diem's instead but occupancy is limited because (its essentially a family home), so I couldn't. I will bring my partner to here next year, for 2 weeks - not one I just had by myself. Thank you so much Diem and your wonderful family for making my stay so lovely ❤️❤️❤️

Diem was the most amazing host to me and my daughter. She was welcoming on arrival and spent adequate time to explain the area to us and recommendations of what activities we should consider. She also helped us get tickets to events at a better rate! My daughter adored her and the rest of the staff - especially after they helped us clean my daughter's scrapes after a fall. highly recommend for a quaint beach-side holiday!

Lovely local unassuming accommodation. Lovely room and facilities and stones throw from beach. Unfortunately, tropical storm meant three days of incessant rain. Which rendered beach holiday null and void. Staff superb, breakfast fine.. Just wish we had had better weather.

There is nothing to dislike.

The cleaning part is on the top level, also the facilities. The space in the Villa is big, bathroom is nice. I would rate higher if the price will be 50% less.

Diem is super helpful, super nice and she’s the one from 100 people in Vietnam who speaks English. The other stuff is rude, breakfast is not sufficient, the barking dogs keep you away the whole night and the system of breakfast time is absolutely stupid. We paid the same price in Hà Nội for high luxury.

Everything about this homestay is perfect. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The included breakfast is the best I've had in Vietnam, it includes local and western selection as well as fresh juices and smoothies, also lovely iced coffee. But, without a doubt, the best part of our stay was the staff. They are all so lovely and do everything possible to make your stay the best experience. I highly recommend this homestay.

They made our time in An Bang and Hoi An fantastic and easy to navigate. The homestay is in the perfect spot, not far from anything you could need. Diem’s recommendations and help with organising our time made it the most amazing stay ever! We will definitely be coming back to An Bang Hideaway in the future, hopefully for an even longer stay!

It was a perfect quiet place within lot of relaxing possibility. You can soo much to do concerning relaxing sightseeing swimming snorkeling eating sunbathing socializing etc etc etc. the management is extraordinary they give you soo much that you feel very comfortable and familiar. We had the best stay in Vietnam at An Bang Hideaway. Our host, Diem, is a real gem. So kind and helpful and patient. The place was steps away from an amazing beach. Diem helped us to rent bikes and we rode through ride fields at sunset. Magical. Hoi An is amazing too.

The hostess gave us a wealth of recommendations. This ensured that we had a very good time. The accommodation is right on the beach. It is just like in the photos, stylishly furnished and clean. We loved the breakfast every morning. Thank you so much for the relaxing time!

What a sweet get away spot. The hideaway is 4 miles from Hoi An. I might visit Hoi An again when I return to Vietnam I will stay at the hideaway for full weekend. The room is spacious and has its own little courtyard. You order breakfast the night before because Mrs. Hong goes to the market in the morning for supplies. At least once have the Cao Làu. The whole vibe is of tranquility. For English speakers, Ms. Diem, is invaluable. Her organization and helpfulness is a highlight of my entire trip.

Great location right on the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby yet very peaceful and calming just what we needed after the cities of Vietnam. Easy to get a Grab or taxi into Hoi An old town. if you are looking for the perfect location to wind down and experience true Vietnamese authenticity then look no further: An Bang Beach Hideaway is THE place to stay for a few days: we spent there 4 days with 3 couples and were truly amazed by the warm welcome, the attentiveness of the staff and Diem, flawless and superfast communication, the daily breakfast on the terraces of our villas, the lush and quiet garden, the villas, laundry and bicycle services, the location literally 100 steps away from the beach and 5 min by walking to many restaurants just follow Diem's recommendations, they're all delicious)...I could go on and on but you better experience it yourself: it truly is a perfect place to stay!

Literally steps from the beach. Amazing abundant breakfast with much variety. Host was always available and helpful. Nicely decorated in a plain, simple style that feels a part of the Vietnamese beach environment (unlike the behemoth Raddison hotel maybe half an hour north, which could be in Cleveland).

Aptly named Hideaway is a little gem. Located in the treeline overlooking the beach, it offers the convenience of quick dips or lazing away on the many deck chairs lining the beach. Great food and beverages can be ordered from the attendants if you choose the latter. A true tropical paradise. Special thanks to Diem, a friendly, helpful and welcoming owner.

The bungalow has definite rustic charm and there isn't much to dislike. There's no work desk but the coffee table and lounge chair is quite adequate for laptops. Lighting and ambience encourages rest and relaxation.

It is like a paradise! I had the most amazing time. Love the rustic nomadic style of the room. This space is large and you have a lot of patio place. Gorgeous environment with many plants, you feel like in the jungle. They make your breakfast by order and serving at your patio. Such a relaxing place and only 40 steps away from the beach. Diễm is absolutely wonderful and professional. She reached out before checking and gave me all the information and direction. I highly recommend to spend time here. Hoi An is 10 minutes away.

This is such a cute and cozy place to stay right on An Bang Beach. Literally steps from the beach! The bed is very comfortable and there is good AC and warm water for a shower. The place is so nicely decorated and we loved hanging out on the balcony. The bathroom is open to the outdoors, so you should expect to see some critters. A super tasty breakfast is brought to your room every morning. Last but not least, Diem and her whole family were so helpful the entire trip, with suggestions about what to do, where to eat, and general hospitality. Highly recommend staying here!!!
