Veldig lytt i huset. Hørte godt når noen tappet vann eller gikk andre steder i huset. Porten inn til gaten hvor vi skulle gå inn, ble låst om kvelden og vi måtte selv finne ut hvordan vi kunne komme oss inn via en annen dør.

Very central location. Clean. Sabine dealt with us quickly and reimbursed late check out fee quickly.

We probably did not check properly when booking. Very steep staircase to bedroom and also staircase to mezzanine lounge. I hurt back on 2nd day and we ended up moving accommodation at extra cost. Couch very low and uncomfortable and no instructions re tv or coffee machine. Be aware if you have mobility issues room 6 ground floor is not for you. Communal kitchen was messy and unattractive.

It was a good location, since the bedroom was in the wine cellar there was no noise Slightly strange that they were putting scaffolding up with us inside but didnt effect us too much. Some very slammy doors in the other properties though.

Helaas was er geen airco en je kon de ramen niet openzetten om te luchten. Vooral met de hitte die dagen was het niet te doen. Er waren wel waaiers maar deze waren niet af doende. Miste een klein koelkastje. Was fijn geweest. Daarnaast de wc bril was geel verkleurd. Kan welke en nieuwe op

Het slapen in een kelder, hier zat ook een deur die in de slaapkamer van de kelderburen uitkwam 😩 deze was gewoon open zonder slot erop ???

Please read! Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The space felt unclean, unsafe and uncomfortable. In our room 7 (ground floor and souterrain) the sleeping area and bathroom were located in a basement! Which had a very strong damp, mould smell which was overpowering the whole space. In fact very unhealthy to breath this air in. So - We didn’t feel safe to sleep there, so slept upstairs in the kitchen space on a spare mattress instead. In the bathroom, we found underwear from a previous guest hanging on the radiator. The mattresses, bed linen and towels were very worn and showed marks and clear signs of use. We found hairs on the sheets. There was also a door that could not be locked and provide access to another part of the building, which did not feel secure at all. Compared to the photos shown on the website, the actual room felt gloomy, unclean and had an uncomfortable atmosphere. We were also surprised to see afterwards that several previous guests had already mentioned similar issues in their reviews, and that these concerns seem to have been present for quite some time. Unfortunately, we did not read these reviews before booking. We were looking at the overall rating of 6.9 on Booking.com and needed to find accommodation at very short notice for the night, so we relied on the overall rating when making our decision. The accommodation responded that they would have been happy to resolve these issues if we had contacted them during our stay. However, looking at previous reviews, we noticed that the strong basement smell, ventilation issues and the unsecured door have been mentioned by other guests for quite some time. This makes us question why these issues have apparently still not been resolved.

Generally speaking, everything was fine, and the location was excellent. The flat itself was quite large, one room upstairs with kitchen facilities, TV and sofa, which had a bed in the room, and one room downstairs with double bed, toilet and bathroom. It was very good of the owner to leave snacks out on arrival.

The double bed downstairs isn't quite level, you can accidentally slide off one side, as I found out a couple of times. The downstairs room was a bit dark. People coming and going, you could hear the door slam very loudly and hear people quite loudly from the upstairs room.

The apartment was very modern and new. That stuff was also easy to communicate with and friendly. The facility was also very clean and with charming and tasteful interior.

It was very hot in the apartment, even tho the outside temperature wasn't hot. Unfortunately, the air condition did not work. The stuff immediately provided us with vans. However, since we did work in home office during the day, the upstairs area was unbearable. Also, the bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke from outside during the entire night's. Possibly from the pub next door or backyard. Since no widows can be open, we could not even ventilate the room ourselves.

Well located, easy access.

Very impersonal, I asked for an extended stay two weeks before staying, and they responded the day before my arrival (I was there only one night). They mention you can leave your luggage, and that is not the case; they send you to the train station lockers. Very disappointing, and the place is not nice.

Ramen kunnen niet open. Mechanische ventilatie maakt lawaai. Laag stof op raamkozijn. Doorgezakte matrassen. Het was erg benauwd in de locatie doordat de ventilatie niet afdoende was en je geen raam kunt openzetten.

Nooduitgang was geblokkeerd. Het was binnen 10 graden warmer dan buiten en er was geen luchtverversing en er kon geen raam open.

Stinkend doucheputje zodra de douchecel opengaat en dat er geen frisse lucht in de kamer komt ( het was veel te warm en er kan geen raam open). De airco kan aan maar maakt lawaai.

Ventilation not good enough for hot weather. Main ceiling fan not working. Bedroom ceiling fan pulling in smell of people smoking. Without it the Bedroom is a stuffy cellar.

Un lugar totalmente cerrado. Ninguna entrada de aire en los ambientes que fueron muy calurosos comparados con el exterior. Un horno realmente, sin ninguna ventilación. Imposible pensar que no pueda abrirse ninguna ventana, que no haya posibilidad de circulación de aire. No, no volvería a alquilar ese lugar. Lo único que puede rescatarse es la ubicación pero lo demás, ropa de cama, toallas, etc. muy percudidas. Realmente, Booking debiera controlar más los servicios que ofrece

This room specifically doesn’t have access to the main road between 17h00 and 08h00, which means it’s a bit of a walk around to get to it but it’s lovely and quiet, so just be aware.

Nicht so komfortabel, da kleines Appartement über 3 Stockwerke ging. Großer Deckenventilator hat nicht funktioniert und Fenster gehen nicht auf zum lüften, Wasserschaden an der Decke überm Bett.

this place has so much great potential! the location, the facilities, the space, the convenience for a couple or family of 3. I must really give a shout out to the team behind the whatsapp that was very kind and responsive right away! but....

our apartment had no AC and we were advertised as it were so very disappointed. wifi was ok. so Ideally the owner makes some big fixes there and give that place all the potential it deserves! attention to small details but mostly replace or totally remove the big old AC. also note that we were there during a mild heat wave. enough to make it a tough night

Posizione molto bella in centro ad Haarlem. Stazione a 10 minuti a piedi, parcheggio disponibile anche gratuito in strada a 15 minuti a piedi. Molto presente il supporto dello staff, c'è stato un problema tecnico e ci sono state subito risposte gentili e veloci da parte loro

Near to the city center

The walls of the building are way too thin to absorb even parts of the noise from outside. Also the ventilation is a problem because it’s not possible to turn it of (even googled it). The windows can’t be opened either. You could hear everything and due to the ventilation you were forced to smell the extreme cigarette smoke from outside, coming in through the vents. To make matters worse, the mattress was very uncomfortable and should be changed! Due to that we rarely could sleep on 3 of 4 nights, also because of the bar outside. Also, in my opinion the pictures on the internet don’t match reality very well. Now, far less severely but no less worth mentioning is that it’s quite unprofessional to store all kinds of stuff for cleaning and housekeeping in the hallway. These are some of the reasons why I can’t recommend this accommodation, I’m sorry.

Very central location in Haarleem. The room is clean and well-equipped. Good security. Everything was just a 15 mins walk maximum. Friendly staff who let us parked the luggage at the hotel early.

It's not the hotel's problems. Just that being in the central of Haarlem and next to a few bars, at weekends, people get excited and socialize until 3 am on the street. It could be a bit overwhelming for a quiet sleeper.

Geen frisse lucht toevoer! De beluchting funktioneerd niet! De ‚beluchting’ bestaat uit 2 kleine gaatjes in de binnenmuur waar geen lucht uitkomt! Vieze, hele slechte lucht. De kamer was broeiend heet! Het raam kan niet open. De bedden hadden bobbels waardoorr we scheef liggen moesten.Slapen was door dat alles bijna onmogelijk.! Gaan we nooit meer naar toe.

Nuestra habitación estaba como en una especie de sótano sin ventanas. Lo que generaba que apareciesen insectos de la humedad en paredes y suelo a pesar de estar limpio el apartamento. Los colchones eran muy incómodos. Por tanto, la relación calidad-precio fue desmesurada para 600€ por 4 noches.

Very good location. Never met the staff in person (which always makes a huge difference) but otherwise digital communication was good. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated reading lamps above bed.

Not a great venue for seniors or for those with any physical challenges. Extremely steep stairs going up to the kitchen/loft and again more than extreme steep stairs going down into the bedroom area from entry level. For seniors, a fall waiting to happen unless extreme care going up and down these 2 sets of stairs. Should leave a container of water in the kitchen/loft area in fridge or counter otherwise having to go up and down these stairs to the bathroom on main entry level to obtain water for coffee maker/ kettle. Fortunately, we were both reasonably able 76 and 74 year old guests.

The location was excellent. The bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen light burned out and a repair person replaced it promptly.

There was a putrid smell of sewerage emanating from the shower drain, we had to plug it with rags when not in use. There were ants in the kitchen . And the coffeemaker did not work properly.

Staff were friendly. Rooms look very chic & cute, almost beautiful. Location is fantastic. Easy access to Haarlem central & connecting trains. Plenty of nightlife and resteraunts nearby.

First room provided wasn't clean. Hair in the bed, bedsheets dirty, floor had alot of hairs, dust along walls etc. The room also had a roof-fan, which was extremely dangerous to use (the entire thing rotates and wobbles). The sink in the bathroom didnt work. Windows cannot be opened & insufficient ventilation. Beds are two single mattresses & bedsheets side by side, which sucks for couples. And the fire alarm had been entirely removed from the room, likely because the shower steam sets it off repeatedly due to insufficient ventilation. Second room given (after a complaint) also had hair in the bed, but we were too tired to complain again. Ventilation underground (where bedroom, shower & bathroom are) isnt sufficient. Ventilation in the shower doesn't work whatsoever Smells "musty" - old water & wood doesnt mix well. Windows unopenable. Beds again were two singles side-by-side.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due e siamo stati molto soddisfatti della scelta. La posizione è ottima per chi si sposta: la stazione dei treni e dei bus è raggiungibile a piedi in circa 15 minuti lungo un percorso sostanzialmente dritto, comodo anche con i bagagli. Amsterdam è facilmente accessibile via mezzi pubblici (circa 15min in treno), così come il centro della città di Haarlem, che è vicinissimo e raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. Una delle sorprese più piacevoli è stata l'insonorizzazione: nonostante i locali fuori siano vivaci, all'interno non si sente praticamente nulla, il che ci ha permesso di dormire bene a qualsiasi ora. Per chi viaggia per rilassarsi davvero, non è un dettaglio da poco. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è anche una pasticceria dove abbiamo fatto colazione più di una volta, ottima. Gli spazi interni sono distribuiti su tre livelli. Al piano terra si trova il bagno, completo di vasca con doccino, doccia separata, due lavandini, wc e asciugacapelli, con sapone e shampoo già forniti. Al primo piano c'è l'area living, con divano, tavolo da pranzo per due, mini frigo, macchinetta del caffè con capsule incluse, bollitore, tisane, bicchieri e tazze. La TV è una smart 4K con accesso a internet, noi ci abbiamo collegato Netflix senza problemi. Al piano inferiore si trova l'area notte, con asciugamani puliti e appendiabiti a disposizione. Il check-in e la gestione sono interamente digitali tramite il portale della catena, dove si trovano tutte le informazioni utili sul soggiorno, inclusa la password del Wi-Fi, da consultare prima di arrivare dato che il segnale nell'area notte è un po' debole. Per qualsiasi necessità è disponibile una chat con operatori umani, reattivi e disponibili. Consigliato.

L'unica nota dolente riguarda il letto: ci aspettavamo un matrimoniale, ma abbiamo trovato due singoli accostati, il che porta inevitabilmente a sprofondare nel mezzo durante la notte. Detto questo, immaginiamo che la scala a chiocciola renda impossibile far salire un materasso matrimoniale, quindi probabilmente è un limite strutturale più che una scelta, e lo segnaliamo più come informazione per i futuri ospiti che come critica vera e propria.

Die Lage war super, direkt im Zentrum, 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Top Lage. Das Zimmer war auf 3 Stockwerke verteilt was sehr hübsch war Die Einrichtung ist minimalistisch aner reicht völlig aus. Gastgeber war jederzeit per Whatsapp erreichbar und hat sofort geholfen.

Die Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Die Duschbrause ist verrostet, Staubwischen auf den Radiatoren und Deko wurde schon länger etwas vernachlässigt. Die Sauberkeit wirkt etwas schmuddelig.

The explanation on how to check in .We got our keys from door 53 and we were asked to open door 23.The key did not work and we could nt enter .Then we realised we had to open door 53 so when you give instructions for room 1 and 2 please mention use the key to open door 53 The keys were difficult to use .Got stuck inside the keyhole and wont come out

Located near everything in central Haarlem. 2 single beds not a queen. Lina suck to sleep that way, when I could sleep. Feel catfished by the pictures as I was placed essentially in a 3 story mini loft and slept in the basement. Not at all a ‘boutique’ lift. Unable to sleep at all at night due to noise. Usually until 3:30-4am. The facility was clean. No issue there. I’d honestly like to get my money back, but I’m guessing that’s out of the question. I will never stay with this hotel and will widely not recommend.

Geen info over de kamer. Wirwar van electriciteit en verlengsnoeren. Geen batterij in de afstandsbediening. Geen ventilatie en geen open raam. Lampen kapot. Nieuwe afwaskwast is wenselijk en voldoende vaatdoeken. Badkamer met haren.en zeer vieze ramen en stank door eten koken elders en de badhanddoeken niet fris roken. Bedden niet comfortabel. De brandmelder niet intact.

Niks bijzonders was gewoon prima, ook logisch voor die prijs. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

De locatie is super! Midden in het centrum van Haarlem, handig dat er een keukentje was. Het appartement zelf was ruim, we hadden 2 kamers die aan elkaar geschakeld waren. We waren met 6 personen. We moesten nog wel zelf 2 bedden uitklappen, en zelf opmaken. En de halve kamer verbouwen om plek te maken. Verder was de ingang in een soort fietsenstalling. S Nachts was er redelijk was geluidsoverlast. En de kamers konden niet gelucht worden. En er was alleen sjampoo geen doucheschuim, maar de Jumbo is op 2 minuten afstand dus dat was geen probleem. Het was het gewoon net niet, het zag er leuk en hip uit, maar bv een aantal lampjes deed het niet, de kachel lag in stukjes, die rare fietsenstalling met fietsen zonder zadel waar je binnen moest komen. Maar er was wel koffie! En de locatie was super! We hebben het wel erg naar ons zin gehad in Haarlem.

Dat we zelf de kamer moesten verbouwen om 2 opklapbedden te kunnen plaatsen, dat je niet kon luchten, de rare ingang, de geluidsoverlast.

It was well kitted out with coffee machine, fridge and had a hairdryer. Newly refurbished with good shower.

The bed was too soft and sloped into the middle. Very noisy as next to 2 pubs that didn’t close until early hours in the morning.

Es gab keine Anleitung, wie die Heizung angestellt werden muss. Sie war bei der Ankunft aus. Der Vorraum zur Wohnung war nicht sauber und wurde als Abstellkammer für Wäsche benutzt.

De manier van communicatie betreffende het in en uit checken voorafgaande aan je bezoek ervaarden we als zeer prettig

De locatie zelf . Punt 1 Allereerst zijn de foto’s van de accommodatie gedateerd en is de werkelijkheid vooral achterstallig . Punt 2 , het ruikt er erg muf en bovendien is de hygiëne ook ver te zoeken . Met name het servies en sanitair mogen zeker wel wat aandacht krijgen . Punt 3 op foto’s zijn er meerdere bedden , echter ben je met 3 personen slaapt de derde op een stretcher , niet echt prijs/kwaliteit waardig . Tevens lijkt het of de accommodatie uitzicht geeft op het spaarne( de mooie grachtenpandjes) echter deze licht niet eens in de buurt .

Room was great.

It's next to a late night club that stays open until 2am or 4am on some nights. Lots of music coming through the walls and people spilling outside in the evening, shouting. This kept us awake a bit, and woke us up a few times. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place to stay, just a shame about the club next door.

Nice high ceilings, comfortable beds, lots of space. Great location, in the middle of the city centre but actually very quiet once inside the apartment. Complementary coffee and tea were nice to have in the morning.

We had some issues with the key, but they were resolved quickly. The staff on the phone were great, and offered us compensation for the inconvenience caused, which we were happy to accept.

Er werd een 2 persoons bed beloofd Echter was het geen 2 persoonsmatras Maar een 2 persoonslattenbodem Heb hierover met eigenaar gecommuniceerd Met de vermelding dat er een 2 persoonslaken in de kast lag Na deze klacht !! Ik boek voorverkoop 2 persoonsmatras Het was erg warm op de kamer Het was nog een kwartier lopen vanuit de parkeergarage we wisten dat de auto elders geparkeerd moest worden maar op 5 min loopafstand Dus niet Nameet want het was een mooie kamer Er kon ook geen raam open

Beautiful room located in a lovely location.

Locatie lag top midden in het centrum. En toch heel rustig

De wc bril was heel erg verkleurd en zat niet goed op de wc pot. Onze tip. Vervang deze door een mooie nieuwe frisse wc bril.
