Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Bed was ok. It was humid in the room and the polyester covers made us sweat. Pillows were comfortable. The room had cobwebs (I had a massive one stuck to my finger when I opened the blinds) There was a half drank pop bottle in our fridge when we arrived that was not ours. The bathroom door stuck and was very hard to open/close. None of the shampoo had any safety seals on them, they seemed used and refilled. If we didn’t wear shoes in the room, our feet would be black from the floors. The location was amazing. The bathroom toilet and shower were clean. Check in was easy.

Tastefully done modern clean rooms, fully equipped kitchenettes and if you are a small “details” kind of person, you’ll smile. Because they paid attention to even the small stuff. All of them. This place is a little gem, absolutely worth checking in to! And sadly that’s getting pretty rare nowadays.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2025Last min reservation traveling between Edmonton and Nanaimo on a multi day motorcycle bike trip. Amazing amenities for my brother and I. Two large beds, full kitchen with high end gear… Renovated, updated & clean. Clearly well invested to make guests comfortable. John the owner / host very social and comical; giving me the gears for not looking in the freezer for the ice. What places have you stayed at that was so well stocked. (Not me) Like I said all the amenities. Very comfortable. Close to restaurants, & stores on Main Street (down town) in Oliver. Steps to everything you might need. I would book here the next time I am anywhere near Osoyoos.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cobwebs around the edge of the wall/ceiling and the dirty ceiling fan in the bathroom. Nothing that would stop me from staying here again. If you are ever in the area and need a place to stay check this little gem out.

Walking distance to the downtown strip should you wish to grab groceries or dine out. Also, it is only 9 minites away from the District Wine Village. I may stay here again.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025Most roadside motels are in it only for money, we could tell the private owner in this case took pride in the business, it was neat, clean and improvements to the building were recently completed or underway. The room was excellent and provided new modern amenities to tailer to todays traveler. Overall an above average stay for us, the owner did a great job with the renovations and we thank him for bringing the historic motel back to its original glory or better!
