Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre

Favourite hotel. Pool is awesome for littles and the hot tub is large and great for the adults. Staff is wonderful. Restaurant onsite has good food at reasonable price. Rooms are a bit tired but 100% clean. Exceptionally clean. Only drawback is the rooms are not soundproof from the hallway. From the hallway you can hear what’s going on in the room and from our room we could very clearly hear conversation from the hallway. This was our 2nd stay and we will be back again

The pillows were terrible the worst I ever had but the breakfast at Arthur’s pub was so delicious

clean room, great staff, suited my 2 day stay to visit relatives

I thought the property was very clean and well kept.hotel room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed and the jetted tub was just what we needed. Pool area was stocked with towels and had washroom/change facilities right in the area. Fitness centre had a variety of newer nautilus equipment and looked like someone would be happy to use. Onsite restaurant but did not have enough time to try.

Room need to be update and wifi was Really bad

It was close to a Starbucks, so that was also good

None

I arrived later in the evening, when I attempted to check in there was no one there. Staff from the pub kept coming and going saying “I don’t know where he is, and I can’t help you check in, sorry” tried calling, no answer. After about 12-15 minutes the front desk person, James, appeared. No rush, no apologies or explanation. “ID and credit card” he demanded in an annoyed tone. I obliged, just wanted to check in and go to sleep. After signing and initialing I was told there would be a hold on my card for incidentals. I asked for a receipt as it is my company’s policy to collect a receipt for any charge on the card, temporary or not. James looked at me and said “why? It is a temporary hold and will be put back on after you check out”I explained jeans that it was my company’s policy and then even if she does go back on, I still need a receipt anytime it is used. Now he’s missing eye contact with me and he looks super annoyed and again he questions it “ but that makes no sense. It’s literally a temporary hold and we put it back on when you check out as long as the room is fine” I told James that I was not trying to be a pain in his behind that this is to avoid having a pain in my mind and that even though he doesn’t see the point it, it is still something that I need. He pushed the button and Presto I had the receipt. The toilet in my room ran all night long. I tried to jiggle the handle, but I’m no plumber. Two of the pillowcases had stains on them. Need more than 1500 words.

The property was clean and well maintained and the rooms were very clean. The Arthur’s Pub was excellent for dinner after a long day of driving.

Because of few other hotel options in the area, the price was very high for a small town, but room was clean and comfortable.

Such friendly staff and a 10/10 bar/restaurant. A little uncomfortable but not bad at all and would recommend this place for sure.

Yes

Great location with a great pool

Amazing hotel. Great staff Great location Would stay there again

Bed was terrible and room smelled bad.

beds were uncomfortable as were the pillows

Great experience. Thanks so much!

Room was clean and staff were friendly. Hot tub was great. And pool. Both were open until 11 pm.

Kids friendly.

Had a lovely late summer stay. Was impressed with the design and conditions of the hotel with its very comfortable rooms. Lots of lux and thoughtful touches. A wonderful pool and exercise room! Highly recommend.

Overall a very good hotel

Great food Friendly service.

Amazing staff and a beautiful pool surrounded by trees. The room was large and comfortable. Everything was spotless.

Pool was super clean. Loved my stay

I recently stayed at Best Western Plus in Cobourg for two consecutive trips which left me with lasting impression and I intend to make it my "Go To" hotel for future visits. The location is strategic and put many places within easy reach. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is awesome with good food, and a live band on most evenings making the evenings very relaxing. Good experience, see you again soon.

Great

Excellent restaurant and great pool . Fun for families

The staff here are INCREDIBLE. They bent over backwards to ensure we had a room suitable for our family after we booked off Expedia. They held our items, shifted us rooms after our first night, and checked in to ensure everything was suitable. The hotel is close to everything and the pub onsite is a nice touch.

Clean. New. Great breakfast

Great hotel. Stayed as part of tour on Ontario area on way to Ottawa. Free parking, ample spaces. Pool and hot tub. Arthurs pub attached and for meals but we did not eat here. Breakfast was not included as part of BW 2025 offer. Good size bedroom. Family type room. One door entrance but two rooms/adjoining door connection. 3 double beds. But only one bathroom and one toilet. Lots of space. Good for separate sleeping area for kids but together as a family. Some nostalgia with the hotel e.g. non slip rubber bath mat. Not seen one of those since the 80s. TV in each room. AC in both rooms.Safe and Fridge. Comfortable beds but we did have a dip in our mattress and kept rolling into the middle together LOL. Walmart close by for drinks and snacks.

It was good

Friendly staff. Room was very clean. Food in Arthur’s Pub was delicious.

Wonderful night after a long drive. The pool was great for kids.

Great stay!

Very clean and nice staff, would stay again

The family suite was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was no kitchenette only a tiny fridge. I wish there was a little wet bar area and a couch to watch tv from. The whole building is old but very well kept. The pool looked so fun for kids but unfortunately we didnt have time to go in it.

Excellent stay, no issues.

The staff was fantastic especially Sam thank you

Staff were friendly and the Arthur’s pub and grill was good. There is a water dispenser at the entrance of the hotel to refill water bottles. We weren’t told about that when checking in and so purchased our own water. One of the mattresses on the bed seems to need replacing based on the feedback from one of the family. Overall was a pleasant stay and also good value.

Great pool for kids . Great onsite restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner .

The service was great! Room, lobby and washroom in lobby was so clean. Id definitely stay here again.

Bed and pillows were among the most comfortable ever experienced at a hotel. Pub dining on-site had great dinner and breakfast options. Charging available for electric car (limited to one) and we appreciated the later check-out time.

It was so nice to see such kind snd friendly staff. The facility was clean everywhere we went. The pool the rooms the exercise room. We had a wonderful stay.

Great place. Clean, easily accessible with lots of parking. Friendly staff. Good price. Overall, a great experience.

The stay was great, hell I would move in if they'd let me. the staff is great. the only complaint I have is that our stay was just too damn short

I personally loved the style, and look of this hotel. I do believe it’s absolutely ridiculous for 50 dollars a night for a deposit is ridiculous. Not once was this listed anywhere,I understand 50-100 but not a 150 for a three night stay. I also went in to check in early to do all paper work as we arrived to Coburg early. I personally did not like the way Sam spoke not very friendly or a people person. Her attitude changed when the man left (manger) was worse. However the male when we checked in to get keys were amazing!!! The took time out of there day to acknowledge my children. A few things I did not like was with small children we were so far away from the pool, and on Friday night out of a three day stay it was very loud at night. Also what is the point in asking for license plates if people from the hotel can’t find parking. On Friday we could not find parking we had to keep circling. My family absolutely loved the pool, the rooms were great. Our toilet stoped working the second day and it was fixed right away.

Good value

Friendly and clean

I went for a mini trip with my daughter and she loved the pool. It was very clean, water was warm. The room was good and the bed was comfy. The pub was great. The check-in is at 4pm here and we arrived early...asked just in case if the room was done which it wasn't so we went to the pub. Thought it would be done around 3:30 and it still wasn't ready so we waited. Other than that the hotel was great. We enjoyed the beach that day and then stayed there to relax and unwind. It's worth it!

The rooms were very clean. For the price point I felt the rooms were very dated and I wasn't happy with my bed. Completely sunken on one side. The air conditioning was very loud. There was also a high pitched noise coming from somewhere in the room or hallway both nights. Went off every 20min. It was very difficult to sleep.

Perfect swimming pool with extended open hours.

This was a very relaxing and comfortable staying by the hotel. The staff team including receptionist , housekeepers, and engineers were nice and helpful with warm smiles. The service was great! The room was clean and gave comfortable experience! My kids always asked to visit this hotel every summer. We love the indoor swimming pool and the gym! Besides, there are many restaurants and supermarkets around. Also, it's close to a park and a nice wonderful beach. We already recommended our friends to choose this hotel for their next trips!

1 room have 3beds. Its very comfortable! The shipping is near the hotel is Very convenient！

Great clean hotel. The pool was also clean and family friendly .

Great room and location. Pool was well kept!

Queen bed room actually came with an uncomfortable double size Murphy bed

Very clean room. Check in was fast and we were able to check in early. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable

We stayed for 4 days. The restaurant's prices were good. Housekeeping kept the room stocked but they only nade the beds once. They look after keeping the property both inside and outside exceptionally clean. Pool area great for both adults and kids

Easy beach dri

Friendly staff I would stay there again

Beautiful room with 3 queen sized beds to accomodate our family. Pool was so fun and wonderful for everyone but especially our 10 year old grandson! There is also a hot tub

Totally it was good experience ❤️❤️

No good bed confort

Great service. Great hotel and great location, pool is a big PLUS as well. Only drawback was my room didn't have a coffee maker, and unlike most hotels these days, there wasn't any coffee available in the lobby!

.-

Great place. Perfect for kids and close to the beach.

Great hotel.

Expensive for what you get but we were in high season. Need upgrade

Location was great. Rooms were a little outdated but very clean. The room was large and could have fit another bed instead of the sofa bed that they had.

Great staff. Clean and big room for family. Ample parking. Would definitely recommend. Less than 10 mins drive from the beach. Few dining options nearby. Did not love the food from the pub on site. Pool is very nice.

very helpful and friendly front desk staff great restaurant and bar, British pub style rooms very clean and in good condition

Nice stay! Clean property

Was. Really clean hotel. Very friendly. Excellent food and staff will return

Awesome spot to charge the car too. 50amp service!

Friendly staff, very clean, super comfy bed, good shower. Will def stay there again

Convenient

Good

Great place to stay. Staff went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again

It's good.

The restaurant on-site is quite good and it is extremely close to the business that I visited.

Great value, easy access to highway, big rooms, friendly staff. A good place to stay for a couple of nights

restaurant was great!

We like the first nigth , with a bigger room with italian shower. Need Queen bed to small bed for us.

Nice clean hotel and very affordable restaurant downstairs

Great service and comfortable stay

Great

We had a great stay here the rooms are a little out dated, staff was great and welcoming

It was a party outside right under our window from a room downstairs The desk said they can not do anything because it’s outside. But it was customer from the hotel. Impossible to sleep. Never again this hotel. Unless you don’t want to sleep.

Good location. Not too far from restaurants and the beach. Quiet as well.

Comfortable room. Nothing fancy but it was clean the bed good. No complaints at all.

Nice and clean, staff friendly Attached restaurant closed at 10, while a bunch of us were watching game 1 of edmonton vs florida. turned the tvs off between third period and overtime. i understand people want to go home after their shift but really

Shout out to Brian at the front desk with the fabulous nails!!! It was so fun to compare!

Check in was quick. Friendly staff. Very clean room. Went to the pub for dinner, food was very good.

Welcomed my dog and made me feel at home

Nice quiet area. Clean room, comfortable bed. Pleasant staff at the desk. Lots of parking spots. Depends on where your room is, it could be not close to the elevator.

Nice and clean

Andrea at Front Desk was super helpful and really friendly!

The pool was right across from the sweet. The smell bothered me but not my partner.
