Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Close to where we dock our boat for the evening along the Rideau Canal. Clean, quiet (even facing the street), and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool, nice size for a swim. Short walk to Walmart, Cdn Tire, and downtown for supper and the pipe band outdoor practice. Stacked was only 100 meters away for an excellent breakfast.

Très peu isolé avec les étages.. Donc quand quelqu'un décide de prendre sa douche à 2h du matin a l’étage au dessus et bien impossible de dormir.. le déjeuner moyen, les couverts sont en plastiques, les assiettes en carton.. très peu de place dans la salle donc il faut attendre qu’une table se libère.

Déjeuner de chaîne d'hotel (oeufs brouillés, galettes de saucisses) céréales, yogourt et toasts, jus café etc. Rien de spécial mais pas mauvais et vous permet d'économiser.

The jacuzzi tub that I paid extra money for sounded like a turbo engine while the Jets were on. It was so loud, it definitely would have been heard by the patrons below us. And then come to discover when we got out of the tub that it was actually leaking water all over the floor. I noticed that the flooring was lifting at the edges so this had been a previous issue that had not been fixed. When I brought it up with the receptionist she informed me that she would let the owner know.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The breakfasts were quite good, but I have a couple suggestions: 1; the sausages and eggs could have been kept warmer. 2; The plastic utensils were terrible, please switch to disposable wood utensils. Also better for the environment 3; For the sake of the environment, you should have recycle bins.
We tried to book our stay directly with the hotel, but your web sight apparently put it through an outside source which meant that we didn't earn any point for our membership.

Reviewed Oct 17, 2025The hotel was clean and conveniently located for our purposes. They had a breakfast with eggs, sausages, nice teas, Van Houtte coffees, yogurt, toast, cereals and so on. It filled us up and prepared us for the day. Where this hotel shone was the service. Before we checked in, we had to push our arrival back due to a family medical emergency. A call to Glenda at the front desk took care of that in 3 minutes. No hassle, no problem. When we arrived home, I noticed that I had left some items in the room, including a costly purchase while on our trip. I called the front desk and again got Glenda. She had the items and said that she would stop on her way home and buy a box so that I could arrange pick-up. Later, I had also notice a couple of personal items weren't in my luggage when I got home. The next day, I called Glenda, yep, she had them in the box. Glenda went ABOVE and BEYOND in helping me (buying the box on her personal time). She was so kind and compassionate on the phone that it made me cry! People like Glenda make the world a better place. :-)

We had been assigned a second floor room and there was no lift so the stairs were hard for one of us. Despite them knowing that when we checked in and them having spare rooms on the main floor we did not get a room on the low floor. We didn’t ask for a change of room but they might have offered. Also a fire alarm problem meant a poor night sleep.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025…..then you enter the driveway. On the BE homepage, you obviously don’t see the surroundings of the hotel. We realised that we have ended up in an area with KFC, Walmart and dozens of other chains. And traffic.. However, outstanding service from an elderly woman. Great room with wooden floor. 55” TV Huge fridge coffee facilities. Comfortable beds. Great outside pool. Breakfast above expectations. BUT! Somewhere in this review. There is mentioned that the hairdryer is disgustingly filthy. Room 116 was defect at disgusting. Step up and read the reviews.
