I love the location and the hot breakfast.

The only reason I didn’t give the last item 5 stars is because of a rotating sprinkler that pounded a metal sign, waking me several times overnight. Stacey at Reception very kindly did a lot of research before she gave us another room, which was MUCH better than the first one anyway. Kudos to Stacey for her compassion & her excellent efforts to assure us of a perfect stay.❤️

The staff is friendly and go above and beyond the call of duty. The room was spacious and clean (the bathtub wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked).

This was a wonderful place to stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful, rooms clean, bed was comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding. Our conversation with table mates was very interesting and pleasant. We throughly enjoyed our visit and stay.

Breakfast was very good , room was clean but bathroom bathtub silicone needs redoing.. had mold or gaps in it. Plus bathroom window had mold.. service was great. Nice outdoor and indoor pool

Lovely breakfast and staff

The fold out couch was horrible. I'm used to sleeping on them, but this one was just outside it's 'best before' date. very uncomfortable. time to replace!!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. The hotel is quiet, staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. The tub in our room was not very clean and the fridge in the room froze all of our food despite appearing to be set to an appropriate temperature.

Just ensure your room isn't adjoining or you'll hear everything next door

The sink and bathtub didn’t drain well. The room had a foot smell. The carpet needs to be removed. The dryer almost burnt my cloths. The location is beautiful and the breakfast was good.

All the staff I encountered was amazing (shout out Stacey!). The rooms are dated but comfortable. My sheets and a towel had some staining but nothing crazy. My first room has a trap door to the attic that was not locked which freaked me out (room 211), but Stacey was kind and quickly transferred me to another room. Room 204 was great aside from the AC blew directly on you when in bed. Unfortunately there’s no “fan only” option so I’d wake up when AC kicked on and was freezing. I turned the temp up the next night but it would still kick on. I think the bed needs to be on the opposite wall (also not looking at the door in bed, then). Breakfast was excellent, hot breakfast with continental options.

This is an excellent property. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and property were very clean and the breakfast was a nice added touch. We will definitely be booking here again next year.

Nice room, clean and quiet. Property is very close to town, shopping, dining, the beaches and parks. Bed was comfortable. We didn't have the breakfast, so can't say how it was. Our Keurig didn't work the first morning, but they fixed it for us during the day. The toilet, however, dripped water 24/7, and the valve ran about every 60 seconds. That didn't get fixed but it was a minor annoyance. All in all, a good stay and would recommend.

There is a lot to do at the property and the breakfast was great. We would recommend a lower floor if available as you can walk right out to the pools and bbqs and the other grounds. It’s a bit pricy but will probably stay there again.

I've been staying at this property for the last 3 years in a row. The rooms are showing their age and in need of a significant renovation - it didn't bother us much in the past but now for the price it's definitely not worth it, even a higher end resort costing more than double is looking like a bargain.

Love the indoor and outdoor pools, love the outdoor area and seating. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices. The rooms are dated, the fridge in the room did not work and the shower made a high pitched noise every time we used it.

We did like that there was two bedrooms and two bathrooms with this upstairs unit. We did not like that the largest bed was NOT in the room with the a/c and washroom. We took the largest bed as the adults but there was no a/c in that room. it seemed silly for a couple of reasons. A hotel room without adequate air conditioning - is reason enough to NOT return.

1st time staying ar best western in pentictn...we have been at many other best Western locations and always found them to be great!!...will stay again

Great place for families with kids not so much for adults. Room needs up grades for there 4 star rating. Bathroom door would not fully ooen and close due getting stuck on floor. Main room door was not secure as it didn’t close compltely. No roim darkening blinds, roim was totally lit up from outside lights at night. Cost of stay was over priced and over rated.

Breakfast quality was poor , the breads and muffins were stale .The sausage and patty was pork which many people including us don’t eat pork , it could be chicken or beef .

Breakfast was served fresh and was delicious. Reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable

Well maintained property

The room was adequate for a last minute booking but tremendously over priced. This particular room was not a good value.

Stay was decent. Promotes Hot Breakfast but ran out of almost all the baked goods at least an hour before end of breakfast timeline and was told everything was frozen so no more coming out. One lady working breakfast was rude and seemed like she had no time for questions. Rooms are good but on the smaller side, awkward fridge cabinet. Very weak showers. "Playground" was just 2 metals slides and one little swing set, hardly a "playground". Otherwise it was a basic hotel that served its purpose. Probably would look at different options if going back again.

Overall the property was clean and what you would expect, pricing was fair, room was clean, and breakfast was better than the usual continental breakfast offered at other hotels, however the staff at the front fesk was very inaccomodating. Our room wasn’t ready at their check in time and we had an engagement that we needed to attend that required us checking in and freshening up. They did not care or try to offer any solution, we wait g in the parking lot for an hour, we shared our unpleasant experience with the manager whom didn’t even bother to reply to an email. This business is fortunate to have an ideal location, and they offer service based on this! I will say the lovey lady in the breakfast area deserves a shout out-

The outdoor space is very nice, lots of pool chairs and tables to sit at. Little things for the kids to play on. They could be updated, but still nice to have something. The bbq area is definitely nicer than most places. The BBQs themselveson the inside need to be cleaned more often, but they do work. The room we had was a suite. Its a bit outdated. Could use a change if blinds/curtains, new lamp shades, and a new couch and that would change the feel already. Could have been cleaned a bit better, this dishes in the kitchen were bit cleaned well at all. We had to wash everything again. Also our fridge wasnt getting cold enough. Had maintenance come check on it, but it didn't do much. So we didn't buy any food to keep in the fridge that would spoil. If we needed anything, we had to get it that day. Freezer didn't even freeze our ice packs. Other than that, it was an alright stay. Unfortunately

The only downside was unexpected fees, putting the price about $500 more than anticipated through Expedia

The rooms are spacious and the overall property was quite . The bathroom could of been cleaned better. Staff friendly and the breakfast was great. Some areas of the property need to be upgraded as certain areas are worn out and showing age related issues.

Good variety for breakfast

There were no glasses or cups in our room. Refrigerator did not work. Bathroom sink and tub drained very slowly. Curtain rod was not attached to curtain making it difficult to close. Desk was too low for chair to be placed easily under it. Facility has gone a long way down hill since we last stayed there 2 years ago.

Family-friendly hotel with delicious breakfast included with the stay. Staff are awesome, too!

The Free Breakfast We always stay here

Wanted to love it here!! Reserved a room with two beds, got a bed and a hide a bed, which was fine because it was two adults and two kids, but the mattress on the hide a bed was so bad that the springs were painful. Asked for a solution at the front desk and was told there were no other rooms, but that housekeeping would bring a couple of duvets to put on the mattress. Seven hours later there were no duvets, and close to bedtime for the kids, so I went to the front desk again and asked for some duvets as promised earlier. This time I was told they are not allowed to give out extra blankets and she was sorry…..nothing she could do… We eventually got one blanket, but the mattress was still very painful to sleep on. The kids found prescription pills on one of the tables, and the dust was so thick that we wrote our names on the TV stand. The worst part was that the air conditioning was blowing warm air and would not blow cold. Maintenance came up and said we had the temp set too low, so we set it higher…still hot air, maintenance came up again and set it themselves, still hot air…. the customer service was terrible!! We felt like they just didn’t care in the slightest, and we just had to deal with it. None of us slept well, and my daughter was there for the triathlon, so that was pretty sad. This was supposed to be a fun trip for us to spend time together, and instead we paid almost $400/night for a $100/room…so disappointing

Hot tub and indoor pool plus outdoor pool was great. Open courtyard with slide and swings were perfect for little ones. The outdoor barbecues were a bonus. The variety of food at breakfast was quite amazing. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Staff were friendly. Only complaint was the shower curtain. Too short and magnets were not effective in keeping the curtain from blowing around.

We had ground floor suite room and it was amazing for the kids to play and adults to relax in the courtyard. Breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The only one downfall was the ac in the suite room wasn’t working very well.

The hotel was adequate, clean and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, pool was great. I feel the rooms were ok, maybe need some updating.

The pools were so nice, indoor and outdoor. The courtyard green space is so lovely. Slides and swings for children. Lush vegetation and willow trees. BBQ area. Amazing breakfast. This is probably my most favourite hotel and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels!

Great breakfast; lots of hot water for shower

Other than plugged toilet, for which we were given a plunger, our stay was good.

The customer service was unacceptable as we wanted a firmer bed and to be on the lower floor as we have medical issues and told them so. We explained it kindly. Hence so we didn’t have to walk up a flight of stairs as there was no elevator. Especially with all our luggage. Also burn holes in the curtain and wanted a non smoking room. There was black marks all around the floors in various areas. The tub edges were black in a lot of places where the caulking was. The bathtub had cloth shower curtains and never closed properly and it leaked water everywhere in the corner and soaked the floor. The office woman when we arrived that Thursday was rude and unaccomadating after asking her to please switch to another room as we had seen others vacate and leave. I asked her that they could kindly clean our room as it was still clean and change rooms. She said it was full? How does each customer even know what room they are going to have? We didn’t know either. There was a big hole on the outside walkway outside our room and had to step over it and was very dangerous. My husband is a red seal roofer and he said it was soft and do not walk on it. Your leg can fall straight through. I almost never noticed it. The food employees for breakfast were so kind and the food was good. I really hope Best Western Inn improves the safety in their Inn for their dedicated customers. Also had them clean our room and they didn’t vacuum the carpet as we had accidentally broke a cracker on the carpet.

The breakfast they served was good, but the condition of the room/bathroom was aweful. The bathtub would not drain during a shower and the liner of the tub was bubbling so bad it was dangerous standing in the shower. I almost fell multiple times. Burn holes in the curtains. Outdoor pool not working. It was not what we expected at all.

The breakfast was a highlight! Make your own waffles and plenty of fruit and breakfast food. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was a MUST! Staff was so friendly too. we will come back

A little old fashioned

This place was terrible. It was so dirty and smelly. The room wasn't too bad, but the area outside was in bad shape, cracked concrete, puddles in the hallway from A/C, crumbled siding, dirty everywhere and the pool had no water. The room had no bottled water, like most places do, and the bathroom vent was almost falling off from cracked drywall. The tv had to be propped up in order to watch because it wasn't mounted properly. The breakfast was ok, self serve, buffet style. For the cost of this room, we expected better. We will NEVER stay at a Best Western again.

Very poor sound insulation between neighbouring units (on same floor or room above). Water pressure in shower was fantastic. But drainage form all plumbing is alarmingly slow. Room was actually quite nice. Also need to install better black-out curtains since the property keeps an amazing number of yard lights on all night. (Terrible light pollution.) Staff was really nice. Room was cleaned well.

Check-in was smooth and staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety of food. The coffee was good. The room was nice with comfortable beds. There was hair and sand on the bathroom floor otherwise everything else was clean.

Excellent for a family or a couple. Inner park, green space. Kitchenette rooms have everything. Included breakfast was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.

All staff were wonderful (especially the breakfast bar ladies). It was nice to have the pool for the kids. The location is great, there are many food options nearby. The hotel was fairly quiet and we slept undisturbed.
