Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The room was nice, the location was good, close to everything that we needed.
There is a ramp up to the reception and a railing down most of it but the end has nothing and no signs of a drop, my son twisted his ankle and fell and scraped both his knees, not a great start to his day having to go back in and get cleaned up and bandaged before we were supposed to go for a walk around town.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Der Check-in war einfach und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war größer als erwartet und vor dem Hotel stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen.
Leider ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel, die Türen hatten unten einen großen Spalt. Für 2 Nächte Aufenthalt war es für uns in Ordnung. Eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre gab es allerdings nicht.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026This property was very clean, it smelled great and it’s conveniently located downtown close to a Safeway, Starbucks and the delicious Quesnel Bakery. The hospital is only about 2 blocks away if you are ever in town for a medical.
It didn’t include breakfast but we were given 10% off coupons for the restaurant in the hotel

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026We stayed for 4 nights while enjoying Billy Barker Days, and we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. A special mention goes to the evening lady at the front desk, she was exceptionally kind, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We really appreciated the great service and would happily stay here again.

The bed was very rickety, the pillows were abysmal about half the stuffing of a regular pillow. The towels were clean however they were thin and rough. There was only one small bar of soap to be shared between the sink and the shower. The toilet paper was like tissue. The air conditioner was loud and its controls did not work. If you turned off the air conditioner, the room was too hot.

No supply of bottled water in the room. Checked in tired and thirsty and thoroughly exhausted due to long travel. When asked for a bottle of drinking water, was told to get it from the coin machine on ground floor or the super market cross the road. Could not fathom the lack of attention to a basic customer need after setting up such an elaborate and a reasonably comfortable facility in this remote town. Microwave is provided in the hallway requiring tracking back to the room on upper floor with inconvenience of carrying hot food.

A/C was kind of loud, and low setting was too strong. The sheer curtains were too dark - when they were drawn, the room was dark (even with the sun shining on it).

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was complete even with grab bars. We stayed in Fairmount's without grab bars! Don't hesitate to book if you are heading through the area.
