Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites

My wife and I found the room, the common area, and the morning breakfast service to be quite exceptional. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

Fast , friendly check in nice clean room

Perfect stay

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Bottles of all necessity needed supplied instead of samples, eco-friendly. The room had a walk-in shower which was great for me as I’m disabled so I was able to shower without the worry of falling. The staff was friendly at the front desk

Pricey but fit the bill.

Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and their breakfasts were amazing.

Everything about the hotel was awesome! Staff, the room and breakfast.

Was very clean and easy check in process.

Travelling alone, I look for a hotel that is quiet where I can park my vehicle safely and the Best Western is all of the house. Great check in staff and cleaning staff. very helpful. I have stayed in this hotel three times and I’m never disappointed in my stay.

Great place

Great service

The property was clean, staff was nice, and quiet for the most part. Breakfast was great, staff made omelettes for breakfast, usually it’s just the typical buffet style breakfast. Would recommend.

Staff were overwhelmingly friendly and courteous. Looking forward to staying there again at some point in the future. Awesome place to stay!!

It is nice.

Nice stay, convenient for work

The staff are so nice here! Worth the stay

When I arrived, I was impressed, the lobby was spacious, clean, I loved the water fountain and the sitting area. My daughter enjoyed the pool the whole stay. The friendliness of the Manager was my favorite, they accommodated me and changed my room to my comfort. I will be staying there again for sure.

Thompson is a "tough" town, but this property is THE place to stay in Thompson! It's very well appointed! If you have to go to Thompson, I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Couldnt check in, wasnt allowed to go to Thompson. Highway was closed. Please dont charge us for a room we couldnt use.

It was okay. I did not like the scent of the toiletries.

Clean, friendly service.

It was great

It was a professional atmosphere. The kitchen cooks made it welcoming.

Excellent

the front desk was very helpful. I liked the cleanness of my room.

Friendly staff, clean hotel

Great stay

My stay was great, comfortable, safe, and the beds and pillows were perfect. I appreciated the king suite with the hot plate for preparing meals during my extended stay. The staff was friendly, and the gentleman at the front desk was very understanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

There should be notification about the $500.00 damage deposit on every reserved bookings

it was great but the deposit was very high and was not prepared for it !!!

Goodness

Cleanl, quiet, safe are of utmost importance which I have experienced. I wish I was informed at the time of booking that a $500 damage deposit would be collected. That came as a shock but was able to provide it. Just was a jaw-dropping surprise.

Best place in town

2nd time staying here for work, and I have nothing to complain. The staff are friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious!

New property. Everything seems to be in great shape. Very comfortable room and nice beds.

All good

Clean, friendly, evening soup was a nice touch. Big hot breakfast.

Great experience, clean and food was wonderful

Everything was good but for sure they don’t clean everything forgot my clothes in the drawer and a guest was in the room didn’t get my belongings till 3days later and never got my damage deposit back $500 and no damages so it was $900 a night for a room I paid

I feel like i was scammed. I made a booking for September 21 to 22, 2024, however it was the wrong date. I was charged on my credit card for $205 and an additional $192. I spoke to a person about my situation on a chat (Alaa). I was to be at the hotel for the 22 - 23, 2024. Alaa made the arrangements for the change and also ensured that the amount of $205 was charges for the Sept 22, instead of Sept. 21. I would also be refunded the $192 upon arrival and check in on Sept 22, 2024. When I arrived there was no booking and am now charged an additional amount $244 and the two other charges are still on my credit card. I do have the conversation saved indicating the changes and also the receipt of Sept 21, 2024 stating that I was to pay the amount upon arrival. I did not request to pay while completing the information online. I have never had any problems with Expedia before. I am very upset and will be contacting my bank to indicate fraudulent activity from expedia tomorrow. This is totally uncalled for. Please contact me to rectify this situation.

Breakfast was good

I got charged a lot for a dirty towel and blanket, wow!

Friendly and efficient staff, good breakfast!

Place was clean quiet Only thing that was the noisy fan in hallway Other than that beds were comfortable clean

Always an awesome stay

In all honesty, there were a lot of drunk people walking around town! I mean really wobbly people. We arrived at 8:00 pm to check in. Maybe there was a festival or something, I don't know, but those locals were having a good time, and perhaps too much of a good time. Having said all that, the hotel was perfectly clean, the check in was easy and professional, the breakfast had everything you'd expect and was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and well maintained. Nice to have a hot breakfast in the morning

Staff are very accommodating and excellent customer service

The rooms are very clean. The building is quiet. Building surroundings are clean. Felt safe walking to my vehicle. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is adequate.

This was a very nice, clean hotel. Staff was very helpful.

Very nice property. Have not been here overnight to rate the sleep or breakfast but so far it's great.

Love the sauna!

Nice place

Safe for the area and very quiet. Staff was great.

Nice staff and quiet hotel

Good

Nice area

It was nice except kids were playing in the hall ways playing hockey.

Friendly staff , enjoyable staff

Didn't like the huge damage deposit

We liked a nice welcome from my buddy Amed who works at front desk, very nice man.

Staff were great. Remotes were not working, water only came out scaldling, service was great. Not at all a bad place to stay but could use some improvements

We really enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable.

The room was nice and clean. Hotel amenities (breakfast, evening snack, sauna) were a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very good!

Great staff at check in and breakfast.

I loved the room.

Attentive housekeeper, good breakfast

My first time staying at BW Thompson, Check in clerk was friendly n courteous smooth check in process … got to room n I was impressed how clean and spacious it was ..although only overnight I had a very good sleep beds were comfortable, atmosphere was nice n quiet, my Grandaughter said the same thing ..enjoyed our overnight stay

Took 10 long minutes to get me checked in. Then the room key didn't work; had to go back down and get another. Then the internet password didn't work; had to go get it reset. Shower was warm, but not hot. And our room had a super-noisy HVAC fan right outside the door. Breakfast wasn't very good. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, everything seemed clean.

Couch bed was a bit uncomfortable. Some noise after 11 pm and before 5 am that disrupted my sleep

The hotel was awesome n location was great. Didn’t like to have the house cleaning to be asked to come to the room to clean. Even left the room for awhile n still wasn’t clean

Friendly staff. Clean room. Thompson is a sketchy city.

I liked that Best Western staff are very accommodating to my requests and they provided a warm welcome when we arrived. The amenities exceeded our expectations.

.

IT WAS NEW AND CLEAN!

I booked a room on expedia when i got to best Western at a 11 30pm i was told there wasnt any clean rooms and no rooms in town so i had a fun drive home slept on the side was all right.

I usually stay at a lesser prices stay in Thompson and your Best Western was clearly an up grade along with a higher price BUT was annoying persons walking and walking in hallway and floor hollow tump thump thump thump other then that all good

Me and my family liked everything about the best Western hotel, the name says it all it's the best hotel in town it's super clean and friendly staff all the time. There is nothing we dislike about the hotel. Thank you best Western.

Loved the room, wasnt a fan of the service friendlier staff goes along way

I like the hotel it's very clean reminds of a royal place. There was nothing we didn't like in this lovely hotel.

Amazing staff and clean property

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was nicely appointed, included breakfast was tasty, and location eady to find!
