Reviewed Sep 10, 2025All in all a nice hotel. Unfortunately, our room had its only window directly facing the main entrance. Since the window was right next to the bed, we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. This made the room quite dark, and it was also rather noisy as we could hear guests coming and going.

La salle de bain était adaptée au handicap mais très laide (rideau douche en plastique). En clair l’hôtel nous a donné la moins bonne chambre…est-ce parce que nous sommes passés par hôtel.com ?

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025J’ai réservé une chambre double front de mer pour 1 personne et l’hôtel m’a attribué une chambre double petite à l’angle du bâtiment avec vue sur bâtiment (chambre 222), chambre petite avec mezzanine avec deux matelas. Donc chambre petite impossible d’ouvrir une grande valise au sol sans devoir marcher dessus pour accéder au lit et donc impossible pour deux adultes et deux grandes valises ! Donc vraiment pas correct de la part de l’hôtel de me dire que c’est une chambre sea view !

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025Die Zimmer sind recht klein mit Gepäck und auch nur ein Stuhl war vorhanden. Allerdings gab es viele Gemeinschaftsräume, wo man sich aufhalten konnte. Das Badezimmer war von der Größe ok. Allerdings lag immer ein leicht unangenehmer Geruch in der Luft. Das Frühstück war auch ok. Nur Filterkaffee, kein Espresso oder ähnliches. Bis spät in die Nacht wird gegenüber zur Stadtseite gefeiert und das sehr laut und bis spät in die Nacht hinein. Der Abzug in den Gesamtbewertung ist wegen dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025Fantastic location on the harbour front. Staff are great. Negative is the description on Expedia. There are only SEVEN parking spaces so became an issue with hiring a car. There is NO electric charge points so had to ask the very helpful staff at the Hotel. The car parking you need to download the app and is 250NK per DAY and is situated very close which isn't the issue but fighting with tourists and campavans which AREN'T supposed to park inside some of the car park. This isn't a reflection of the Villa but it's description on Expedia doesn't reflect the practical issues. Also had to deal with noisy people because of the Midnight sun meaning people still outside at night. The staff dealt with one issue promptly so no fault on their behalf. Had a great time and recommend but do your homework first.

Veldig gode senger. Vårt rom var ganske lite, men godt og praktisk innredet. Hyggelig frokost som serveres i restauranten med panoramautsikt til havna. Jeg vil på det varmeste anbefale dette stedet til venner og bekjente.

My room was full of dust mites that made me coughing and badly slept in these 3 nights. The staff didn't make/clean my room in the last 2 days.Therefore I felt very disappointed and got a really hard feeling in this hotel!

Reviewed Aug 28, 2023Overall our stay can be summed up in one word; fantastic! We stayed in a smaller room close to the entrance, and even so we had the best sleep ever. This place is quiet; the only sounds we heard through the night were those we made ourselves. It’s a total new experience to breathe clean air perfumed by the ocean, old timber, and vegetation from the mountains, while being snuggled by the lightest, fluffiest down comforters. The bathroom was spotless, only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner, but that isn’t enough of an inconvenience to subtract from the experience. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional, and they quietly made sure that everything looked delicious and was available in abundance at the breakfast buffet. I wholeheartedly recommend you to stay here whenever you find yourself lucky enough to visit this wonderful place!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2023Il personale di questo albergo era molto gentile sia nell’accoglienza come anche nel darci una serie di consigli su cosa fare ecc… al di fuori dei soliti itinerari consigliati. La posizione dell’albergo é nel posto più bello e strategico del paesino e si raggiunge gallerie, ristoranti ecc tutto a piedi facilmente. C’è un parcheggio proprio davanti all’albergo per gli ospiti, un grande plus in un posto così piccolo come Henningsvaer. La nostra stanza era con vista mare, bellissima. Sembra che tu stia in una barca, guardando fuori dalla finestra. Il letto era comodo, la stanza un po’ piccola e molto basica, ma per un breve soggiorno comunque piacevole. Unica cosa che non funzionava bene era la doccia, ma credo sia stato un problema isolato semplicemente della nostra stanza. La colazione era molto buona e con una vasta scelta tra salato e dolce. Nell’insieme ci siamo trovati benissimo e assolutamente lo consiglio.

Frühstück war klein aber gut, allerdings nur mit Filterkaffee aus dem Dispenser. Es gab zwei EV-Ladestationen, von denen eine von einem Verbrenner zugeparkt war. Der Preis pro kWh für das Laden war überteuert.

We took a bike ride around Henningsvaer and surroundings with the hotel bikes - I recommend it strongly! We were a bit dissapointed with the room: it only had a super small window that was half the size of a normal window. We didnt get any views that you see in the ad pictures. There was also a lot dust in the ventilation duct in the bathroom. Otherwise the hotel was nice.

Hadde rom ved inngangen, mye bråk om natten av en gjeng nordmenn med litt for mye alkohol innabords. Rommene trenger oppussing og det skal skje i løpet av høsten. Veldig behjelpelig service i resepsjonen.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare as there was always a bit of a battle finding a spot, and the spots were crazy tight. There is also a car-charging station within the lot, which often meant a car parked right in the middle of the lot. Had we needed to move our car while this was happening, it might have been quite a challenge, but fortunately, we did not run into this issue.

We were hesitant to stay because of all the mentions of a small room but we found ours (on level 1) to be perfect for a couple. The bed, down blanket and decor is so comfortable. The endless breakfast options are matched with a gorgeous view of the harbor and sea, making it just that much more enjoyable. We cannot wait to come back... Tusen takk!

Reviewed Jul 9, 2022Parkering tillhörande hotellet finns, men är smockfull, fick stå på betald parkering i närheten istället. Mycket bra mat på hotellets restaurang, ”Den blå fisk”. Fick vegetarisk för- och huvudrätt även fast det inte fanns på menyn (ringde och frågade i förväg), var väldigt nöjda. I övrigt fräscht och bra läge vid vattnet.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2022Flott beliggenhet og grei frokost. Kokkene og resepsjonspersonal stod å røkte ved inngangen støtt og stadig. Det føk inn på rommet vårt som lå like ved hovedinngangen. Veldig utrivelig.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2022Hotelli sijaitsee upean tien päässä pienessä kalastajakylässä, todella hieno sijainti. Hotelli on kaunis ja perinteinen. Huoneet aika pienet mutta kauniit, siistit ja hiljaiset. Sänky ja peitot laadukkaat. Aamupala oli todella pieni, odotin parempaa valikoimaa koska yöpymisen hinta oli kumminkin aika kova.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2022Sjarmerende hotell med gode senger og tiltalende bad. Frokosten var grei, lite utvalg i brød. Restauranten stod ikke til forventningene. På et tradisjonelt hotell hadde jeg forventet en mer tradisjonell meny, ikke en tilnærmet italiensk måte å tilberede fisk på.

Reviewed Nov 16, 2021Rommet var lite enda vi betalte for et oppgradert rom. Det var ikke tv på rommet. Radioen som var der fungerte ikke. Frokostbordet var simpelt. Inngangspartiet var usedvanlig lite og trangt. Fatter ikke at det går ann å ha et slikt inngangsparti. Vil nokk være svært vanskelig kanskje umulig for en med rullestol å komme seg inn ut. Vi hadde problemer med å komme inn ut. Hotellet ligger fint til på kaien med fin utsikt over havna. Koselig hotel.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2021Utrolig flott rom, med hems. Utsikt mot Henningsvær fra fokostsalen. Tommelen opp for en meget god frokost, og når man kan ta med seg kaffekoppen ut på brugga, i nydelig Nord Norsk høstvær, så kan man kalle det en perfekt start på dagen. Høy standar på hotellet

Lite variasjon i pålegg, juice og melk var noe lunken, kaffen var dessverre ganske grusom (dvs alt for svak for min smak), og de var treg å fylle på div mat og pålegg det gikk tomt for. Rommet var rent og moderne men ganske lite og utsikt rett inn i en vegg, så prisen på 2200,- for èn natt var noe stivt for en slik standard.
