Enjoyed two nights in our cosy cottage. Three bedrooms plus upstairs lounge. Stunning view out over the harbour. Microwave might be helpful for our limited self catering.
Cute cabin, but could have chosen cheaper option with even better view on water at other locations. The pictures show sitting area outside the rooms and on the water so it’s deceiving. We were hosted further back. The front desk staff was also a little rude when they canceled our kayaking trip. When told we didn’t receive a phone call or email, she said “that’s not our problem and we tried.” Not great tact. Restaurant was delicious! Very beautiful but potentially better value elsewhere.
Great location.
Pros: quiet-could sleep peacefully with windows open, bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, view if the water & mountains from our cabin was breathtakingly beautiful Cons: breakfast. Not many options for 290 NOK per person, plus would run out of things quickly and was slow to replenish.
The cutest cabine, done in style. This cabine has the best location. Directly by the sea and with nice balcony/terrace. We absolutely loved this!
My room was so cozy and had an amazing view of Reine!

Friendly staff and well decorated/ appointed cabin. Great towels vs other Norwegian stays
Amazing place. Very recommend to stay. It can be difficult to move large luggage to the cabin, but the cabin is perfect!
Good location. The staff could do or arrange more services such as clear the ice and snow, changing light bulbs. It was no fun to walk on icy roads in the dark.
Greater location. Older property.
What a quaint and comfy place! We loved our cabin and the restaurant food was outstanding! We will go back!
Great location!
The accommodations were fantastic and the views were out of this world! Weather was great for our two night stay. The cabin was simple and cozy; had everything we needed for our family of 4.
Great stay in unique accommodation. A little difficult off season to reach the reception that were closed when I arrived. Room was perfect and with a wonderful view. Restaurant in site was lovely although despite only 2 other tables when I was there wait service was invisible and in the kitchen most of the time.
A few more amenities needed eg bathrobes, slippers, shower cap etc
Todo perfecto, lugar muy recomendable
Very beautiful property, well maintained and with good amenities. Really cozy. Kitchen well set up for cooking. Very safe and quiet.
Tres belle vue devant notre logement Confort. Top
The cabin was cozy, quiet, and had a wonderful view. We also ate at the restaurant where the service and meal was excellent. Only regret was we did not stay longer to do the kayak tour.
Amazing setting in a restored , old fisherman’s cabin. We purchased firewood for the woodstove at the circle k next door. Reine was all I had hoped it would be.
Beautiful views and birds galore
Great location and excellent breakfast
-
The place, the history, close to the water - a fantastic place.
Reine is beautiful! The rorbu was cozy and a good standard. We were very happy with it. Lovely view. Service was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The local walks were gorgeous.
The cottages have an excellent location to the Reinebringen trail. The views are wonderful and cabins have a small kitchen that includes coffee pots and hot water kettle. The breakfast is very good although I thought it should be included in rental as most hotels are in Norway.
God resturant!
Unique experience at Reine overall. We didn't have that much luck with weather but this risk exists when traveling there at April. However service at hotel was very friendly and small setbacks were handled with professional manner for which big complimens to Alicja at hotel reception. This type of things make difference between great and average establishments. Dinner at Gammelbua restaurant was marvellous and tasty experience and service was flexible and kind. At this hotel you can stay at one of a kind ambience that you'll probably won't elsewhere than at Lofoten. Cottage design and interior is full of island history. At yard you can observe ( and also smell :-) ) traditional skrei drying processes. Very close by Moskenes ferry port if you are arriving with Bodø ferry and start you Lofoten experience from south point of the island group.
The best way to spend a night at Lofoten. Great attention to detail, fisher cabin feel with the comfort of a hotel room. The location is excellent, ferry to Bodø is close and there’s nice hikes close by.
We stayed in cosy and spacious family shack. Got some very helpful hiking tips from friendly receptionist and which also recommended a Kayak trip to beautiful Bunes beach. Dinner at the restaurant was pricey, but decent. Only complaint was breakfast, which had poor bread and not many healthy choices.
Tusen takk!
Anbefales!!
Fantastisk på alle måter. Beliggenhet , mat , utsikt , service, alt var meget bra !
Flott lokasjon, rolig og fantastisk plass. Flotte rorbuer. Komfortable dobbeltsenger - men litt irriterende madrasser i toppkøyesengene.
Fantastisk sted. Veldig bra renhold, flott utsikt og veldig hyggelig personale.
Helt topp! Flotte rorbuer med skikkelig Lofoten stemning! God mat og hyggelige folk! Anbefales!
Takk for oss.
Very nice and helpful staff; nice, cozy, and comfortable rooms/cabins with attention to details. Perfect base camp for adventures in the southern Lofoten.
First of all the receptionist Paulina and Blasch are very hospitable, kind and helpful. The cabins are clean, warm and great views from the living room and kitchen windows. A unique location because you are surrounded with beautiful mountains and also convenient to grocery and transport. The property restaurant is cozy and had good food. Our guide Jack, for day tour that was arranged by Paulina is excellent. Our whole experienced was outstanding thanks for the whole team. I surely will come back and I highly recommend Reine Rorbuer. Thank you so much !!! Sincerely, Jane
Very cozy
Great stay. Excellent food. Walkable to Reinebringer.
I think it’s the best place to stay in Reine. Views are breathtaking day or night.
The views are the best thing about Reine and the Rorbuer gives fantastic views over the harbor and the fjords. The cabin we stayed in was warm and comfortable. There were towels (no small towels) and sheets and the internet was decent. When we were there, the reception at the hotel closed at 8:30 at night and didn't open until somewhat late in the morning. There are only two restaurants in town and public transport is practically non-existent so you'll be stranded if you don't get the number for the local taxi company. The ferries up the fjord dock very near the Reine Rorbuer and the Aqua Lofoten tours leave from very nearby too.
Fantastic hotel on the water. Beautiful views.
Reine Rorbuer has very gorgeous atmosphere. Anybody can enjoy the very nice and unique beauty of this property. The food served at its restaurant are very delicious and fish-based dishes are strongly recommended especially.
This place was so sweet, cozy and well done. I wish we stayed longer. It was so special in the cabin and well done like a true home. We even had our own patio and picnic table. I would highly recommend this peaceful, quiet stay.
Our cabin was thoughtfully remodeled and incredibly comfortable. The setting and view was exceptional. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Stunning location right on the waterfront of Reine with Reinebringen in the background. Lot's of hygge in this cabin!
Had a great few days down at Reine. Loved the scenery and the location of the cabin.
We enjoyed staying in Reine Rorbuer. They was a kitchen for us to prepare meals during our stay. The host was very helpful & friendly.
We were assigned Rorbuer #20, which in my opinion is one of the best due to the excellent views. Rorbuer #20 has 2 bedrooms, each with its ensuite bathroom, and the entire Rorbuer seemed to be newly renovated and was very cozy. It was cold and can be windy in Reine, but the Rorbuer was warm enough for us. The view from this Rorbuer was the highlight, as we got a fantastic view of Reine from the balcony. we also manage to catch the northern lights from the Rorbuer! All in all, this was one of the best accommodation we had for the trip, and we look forward to staying with reine Rorbuer when we visit reine in future.
We love this place so much we stayed here twice! It's the best place to stay if you're taking the ferry to/from Bodø. The first night we stayed we selected the upgraded room and it was sooooo worth it! The suite is huge with two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus a generous living room and small kitchen. The heated floors are the absolute best on a cold day. The view from #33 Artur is just incredible, like nothing you've ever seen. We never ate at Gammelbua, the hotel restaurant, but ate twice at the restaurant next door which is adorable and very reasonably priced. Be sure to try the local Lofoten beers! Reception at Reine Rorbuer is so friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra instant coffee and for our ferry ticket to be printed, they obliged happily. Even our stay in a basic room was awesome! It was so quiet and still tons of space for two people. Note that if you are coming in off-season (October), food options are VERY limited!!! Plan ahead and go to a grocery store when you can as there's no breakfast at Reine Rorbuer or anywhere nearby until 9 or 10am. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone!
Lofoten is an incredible destination, Reine is THE place to visit there, and Reine Rorbuer is THE place to stay in Reine. We wanted one of those cozy red cottages by the water - This place exceeded our expectations. The location has iconic views of the town and the surrounding mountains. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room included a kitchen. The water pressure in our shower was excellent. The restaurant at the hotel may be a little pricey, but had excellent lamb, beef tenderloin, and crème brûlée. Nearby, there is the ferry to the beaches, a gas station, several restaurants, and a bakery. Worth it.
Comfy soft beds, cute little village, amazing sights. Great place to stay in Lofoten and recommend going for a few days.
Very expensive for the size of the room.
Wonderful reception
Our 3 bedroom apartment was on the second and third floor of one of the fishing cabins. It afforded us quick access to anywhere in the area while having superlative views. The cabin is cozy and well appointed - with countless tea lights in the windows throughout the cabin. The only small nitpicks were a flaky wifi connection and the lack of a curtain in the bathroom. Overall my favorite and most cost effective lodging in Norway. Would definately recommend it to anyone traveling through Reine.
Room was nice, location was lovely, but the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from other peoples rooms.
The overall experience is good except poor internet connection, I could not get a n at all, my husband got in but very slow. I had to stay in reception area to check my emails.
It was way better than expectation. One of the most beautiful place I have stayed
If you want to visit Norway that you must go to lofoten islands and must stay in Reine Rorbuer. We've just left this place for 2days, we are planning go back to Reine Rorbuer.
We originally booked for two nights. We loved it so much we added a third night. Our cabin was terrific! Plenty of room and lots of added extras. The location was beautiful. And the employees went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!
Amazing experience at the Reine Rorbuer. Quaint and cosy Fishermans' cottage with grass roof, overlooking a sensationally dramatic view. Afternoons spent watching the sun set across the fjord were a highlight of our trip to Norway.
