Beautiful inn with beautiful wood floors. Very Norwegian. Lovely sitting room and breakfast lounge. Smaller private rooms but with a great ocean view. We weren’t used to common bathrooms but not a big deal.

Great boutique hotel with excellent views, unique rooms, great location and friendly staff. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice place. Only disappointment was the hot tub. They advertise they have a hot tub but fail to mention it costs $30.00 per person extra to use. Plus it wasn’t hot and they said it could take 2 hours to warm up. They prominently show the hot tub in all advertising. Very misleading.

The staff here was great, not having an en suite bathroom wasn’t a problem and there were so many bathrooms and showers in the facility to use. Great activities you get a discount on.

We liked it alot. Great personal and service. We would have wanted more hangers for clothes in the bedroom.

Very welcoming staff and a great location right in front of the fjords made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Catogarden is all about mindfulness and "sharing is caring" kind of behavour. Nice extra services like yoga class (free of charge), sauna and kayak tours. All with a view, of course. They also have a honesty bar and a small boutique whereas you can buy some food or local crafts. Also had the opportunity to have an amazing barbecue on the patio of the hotel.

Dejligt sted, var lidt udfordret med "fælles toilet/bad" på gangen, men det var bare super flot standard og på ingen måde et problem. Værterne er super søde og hjælpsomme.

Rolig, uforstyrret og avslappende

Rent, fint och mysigt. Väldigt trevlig personal och varmt välkomnande. Gemensamt kök, litet men ok, saknade dock ugn. Gratis yoga på morgonen, var superskönt och en bra start på dagen. Man kan även boka kajakturer. Har man inte något emot delat badrum och kök så fungerar det utmärkt att bo här.

Can’t recommend this place more - the friendliest people, large room, bathroom is spotless, yoga room and communal spaces are lovely. Great location - easy walk to the reinebringen entrance, 1 minute walk to the bus stop.

This is the perfect place you always look for, feels like you stays at your old friends home. With a lot of activities, kayaking, yoga, music room, e t c . Beats most of the places I have stayed at. Thanks a lot Runhild hope to see you and your staff again!

Great stay, lovely decorated common rooms with a lot if character

Veldig trivelig plass med god standard og masse muligheter. Vil absolutt anbefale dette stedet.

Sjarmerende overnattingssted som jeg virkelig kan anbefale hvis du kan ha delt bad og ordne frokost selv. Gode senger.

Fire fantastiske overnattinger. Mye rom for opphold innendørs, fine verandaer og uteplasser. Fin morgenyoga og flott treningsrom. Alt er gjennomtenkt, det er rent og lekkert. Nydelige gamle møbler. Bra selvbetjeningsløsninger. Popcornmaskin til fri benyttelse! 😊 Det er alltid nok av rene håndklær og kluter, alltid toalettpapir. Veldig gode senger. Det eneste vi egentlig savnet var oppbevaring (skap/kommode/knagger/ hyller) for klær og småsaker på rommet.

Catogården var et flott sted å bo. Flotte bad og fint treningsrom. Vi bodde i det oransje rommet med havutsikt. Fantastisk. Meget hyggelig mottagelse!!

Sjarmerende sted med hjemmeatmosfære og fin innredning. Vi hadde et rom med fantastisk utsikt mot sjøen. Catogårdteamet har vært veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Det er mulighet til å lage frokoster/mat i et minikjøkken og spise i et koselig spiserom/stue. Felles bad/toaletter oppleves ikke som noe problem. God kaffe og mulighet til å bli kjent med andre gjester. Nærhet til flere spisesteder, busstopp og butikk gjør dette stedet veldig praktisk. Gangavstand til Reinebringen. I tillegg yoga og padling : D Anbefales!

The old townhouse nowadays a Hotel. Lovely helpfull owner and staff. Comfy beds and great location. Shared bathrooms but plenty of them and spotless clean. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Koselig rom med fin sjøutsikt. God standard og rent og pent, Rimelig. Hyggelig og behjelpelig personale.10 min med bil til Moskenes ferga og 15 min til fots til vakker Reinebringen. Anbefaler sterkt og vi vil gjerne tilbake😊

We had a wonderful stay at Catogård - it is beautifully positioned over looking both the small town of Reine and the sea. The big old house is beautifully decorated and well maintained (very clean) and the hostess Runhild could not have been nicer or more welcoming. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and can recommend this hotel without hesitation!

이 곳에 머물러서 레이네 여행이 더욱 특별한 경험이 되었습니다. 다른 숙박시설보다 좀더 가족적인 분위기였습니다. 그 곳에 머무는 투숙객과도 다른 곳에서보다 많은 이야기를 나눌 수 있었어요. 이 곳의 요가룸에서 요가 클래스에 참여했던 것도 특별한 경험이었네요. 방 번호 대신 제 이름이 적혀있고, 방마다 벽 색이 달라서 색 이름으로 방을 지칭하는 것도 신기했어요. 숙소 위치도 버스 정류장이나 레이네브링엔에서 가깝고 시설도 좋았습니다. 오래된 건물이라 방 밖에서 복도를 걷는 소리가 좀 들리긴 했지만 크게 방해될 정도는 아니었어요. 숙소 구석구석에 작지만 주인분이 세심하게 신경쓰신 부분들이 눈에 띄어서 발견할 때마다 행복했어요. 사랑스러운 주인분이 운영하시는 사랑스러운 장소였습니다. 언젠가 레이네에 또 갈 수 있다면 주저없이 이 곳을 선택할 거예요.

Special place. location, host and atmosphere were great. The room (we stayed at the orange room) and the whole site is very clean. The common room is nice place to eat your own meal and mingle with other travelers. There is only one issue that caused me to rate it 4 out of 5. When we booked the room at hotels.com there was no indication about shared bathroom. More than that, it was written that there is a shower in the room. The owner really apologized and fixed it later. This share bathroom in the second floor serves about 10 rooms and you can find yourself waiting even late at night … Apart from the shared bathroom issue, our overall experience and memories from our short stay are very good and we recommend.

Vi kom, så og forsvant! Rom i 2. etg og delt dusj/WC i kjelleren er ikke godt nok. Ved ankomst var det ingen ansvarlig tilstede, en annen gjest greide tilslutt å spore opp en tilsynelatende ansatt person. Denne personen var hyggelig nok, men visste ingenting om å sjekke inn, parkering osv. Vi tok skrekken og fant oss ei rorbu.

Mysigt personligt enklare boende. Lugnt fint läge. Gemensamma toaletter och dusch.

I liked meeting other travelers and long term guests. I also enjoyed the free yoga!

A lovely huge old house (used to be the old town hall!) that has been renovated beautifully. Runhild was super warm and welcoming and showed us around. The rooms are all different and really lovely. Ours had THE picture perfect view of Reine and the mountains in the back. Absolutely stunning. There is a tiny kitchen and fridge space to store things and diy laundry in the basement, which was great. The only downside was the shared bathroom situation. All of the guest rooms are on the second floor (around 12?) and there is only one bathroom up there. It also had 1 of the two showers, with the second being in the basement. So 2 full baths and one half bath spread among 3 floors, with a fully booked house made using the facilities a bit of a hassle. We stayed in other shared bath guest houses this trip and found this one to be the most annoying. Otherwise, this place was so cozy and charming.

The guesthouse is an historical building itself and its owners have been been making continuous changes and improvements for their guests. Beautiful wooden floors, a yoga studio, fantastic views of part of Lofoten’s most scenic areas, and walking distance to the awesome Reinebringen Hike. Groceries and restaurants are a short distance. Some of the best Lofoten kayaking is at your doorstep, one of the owners being a kayak guide himself. His wife, herself a key owner, is the yoga guide. Both are very friendly, knowledgeable, live on site, and will go out of their way to help you. English is spoken!

Hadde et flott opphold på Catogården. Veldig hyggelig vertskap, og et fint gjesterom med nydelig utsikt. Stort og bra bad i gangen utenfor.

Great spot!

Accueil mémorable de l'hote qui a été aux petits soins et a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour. La chambre violette dans laquelle nous avons séjourné est décorée avec grand soin. L'ensemble est cosy, confortable et très propre. Très belle expérience.

The property was amazing located in the most beautiful part of lofoten and the views from the property itself is one of the best in the village. Hosts were nice and welcoming. They do have yoga sessions in the morning and there's a common living area with microwave, refrigerator, dining table, fire place and some really good vibes. The entire property has been beautifully decorated with antique articles and paintings. Overall definately a go for place when you are in Lofoten

We arrived in the Lofoten Islands after a record snow a week before, with more snow than in the last 25 years. It was a winter wonderland. Upon arriving at the B&B, which is the size of a small hotel, we were warmly greeted by Runhild, the owner, who showed us around the house. The room we had selected online had a beautiful view. I am a professional photographer, so I was in the middle of photographing Lofoten and she made suggestions on me for both photographing the village and the Northern Lights. My 24 year old daughter accompanied me and she was invited to do a Kundalini class with Runhild the following morning. I had also participated in a regular yoga class, impromptu, the previous evening. They also had an espresso maker that made the best cup of coffee I had in Norway. This is a warm and welcoming place in a spectacular location. I'd love to be there in summer when it's possible to kayak. I'd highly recommend Catogarden any time of year!
