Excellent, central location. Rooms were clean and hotel had everything we needed. I really liked that they had a water bottle refilling station.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was amazing! As dedicated hyatt globalist, we have no complaints. This hotel is close to the airport and perfect for anyone with an early flight.

All Elissa, Justin and Sophie were great. Very attentive, pleasant and accommodating. My colleague and I are in town and had a pleasant experience, we will be back.

The hotel has an excellent location near the highway, making it very convenient for an overnight stop in Buffalo. Check in was extremely quick, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we received exactly the room we had requested, with a high floor and a nice view. The room was renovated, modern, clean, and very comfortable. There are also convenient food options at the hotel and an excellent restaurant nearby. It is a great choice for anyone looking for something much better than a typical roadside motel.

There was very little to dislike. The breakfast was good and perfectly adequate, although it could have offered a little more variety and quality.

I enjoy going to Amherst Hyatt. Love that everything is clean. I am always dissapointed that there is no microwave in the room (there is one in the lobby to use though) and the fridge does not have a freezer section. But that is not a hugh problem. I am always a little dissapointed with the breakfast though. very limited choices and nothing that is good to 'grab and go' in case you have to leave quickly. there was no yogert, very limited cerial selection and only boiled or scrabled eggs. I stay in a lot of hotels and many of the cheaper chains offer a much better breakfast.

Very easy to get to on our cross country trip from one of our business HQs to another. Traveled with pets and hotel was very accommodating. Will definitely consider as a stop whenever we are traveling cross country.

Not up to Hyatt standards. Big gap between Hyatt hotels I have visited and this one. Ba chemical odor throughout the hotel. Do not know if it was the smell of poison for pest control or cleaning chemical.

We had a wonderful stay here. I used the gym, pool, breakfast buffet, restaurant, and worked during the day in the alcoves at the entry. It felt like a home away from home because the folks that worked there were kind, thoughtful, proactive, and great at creative problem solving. The gym had a TV so I could watch the World Cup games while I worked out. The pool was clean and I enjoyed swimming with my son while I was there, as well as a family that joined us who also had a good time as the kids played together in the pool. Really safe location while I was traveling as a solo mom with my child.

we went to visit family, they overbooked our room and comp us for two free rooms. the rooms were very cleaned and the whole building was very cleaned the front desk were very nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

Location was a short drive to shops. Friendly staff. Requested a room close to the elevators as my sister had a broken ankle and they were able to give us the room right beside the elevator which we appreciated. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was very yummy. Ac was cold in room which was nice. Clean room. Would definitely recommend staying again.

Hyatt is a beutiful hotel. Representatives are outstanding, room was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was great- large selection of different foods. Parking was outstanding. Great location.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst. The location was excellent, with easy access to everything in Buffalo while Amherst was just a quick drive away. The hotel staff were lovely — warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit. We also really enjoyed the pool and gym, as well as the free breakfast and free parking, which were all great amenities to have during our stay. Our room was large and very clean. We would happily stay here again!

Very good location. Not too loud. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Food at "the placery" was poor. Breakfast bar was mediocre at best. Cleaning staff will likely not clean your room during your stay. I have stayed here multiple times and it is unfortunate to see the dramatic fall off. This was my last stay.

I was 20/30 bucks over what I thought it was worth, bar did not carry coors light and they were out of Michelob ultra. Other than that, pretty good stay

I enjoyed the 2-night stay. Enjoyed the breakfast, pool and fitness center. Friendly and helpful staff. Liked close to highway and easy parking.

Very clean and professional

The room was fabulous and perfect for travelling with a small family. We took one with two queens and a sofa bed and it was perfect. The staff were super friendly and understanding, throughout, esp front desk

Air con noisy, TV not working, food presentation poor, reception not polite

The Hyatt is a cut above all the rest of the hotels I normally stay in. This location is exceptionally clean, professional, quiet, with wonderfully appointed rooms. The front desk staff were excellent as well. To top it off, the breakfast is amazing!! I felt noticeably relaxed and refreshed after my stay here.

Very Clean

Very nice hotel, appears to be almost new. Convenient location, near the interstate. I asked for a quiet room, so they put me at the end of the hall. Being an end room, it had an unusual layout which I happen to like, not the standard cookie-cutter room. It also had a stall shower rather than a tub, more kudos. Basically a very nice room (#329), though there was a noisy blower motor in the wall. I mentioned it as a maintenance issue, hopefully it will be fixed. Excellent breakfast buffet, too. Happy to recommend.

Nice clean hotel with great staff and a very good breakfast. Close to nice restaurants. Just up for a show but I’m sure there are attractions nearby ( Niagara). I would definitely return

The bedding, mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. noise from air conditioner and heat unit was loud. I could hear children running upstairs above us. House keeping came early in the morning banging on the door and woke up my kids at 915 when check out wasn’t until 12.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. We arrived late at around 9:30 PM and were assigned Room 128, a first-floor room right beside a side entrance—high traffic, noisy, and not ideal. When I asked if a higher-floor room was available, I was told the hotel was fully booked, without any real effort to check or accommodate the request. The room itself was clearly not ready for guests. The toilet was clogged upon arrival, and we had to call maintenance immediately. There was also a dead bug in the shower, which is simply unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. To make matters worse, the heater wasn’t working properly, leaving the room cold and uncomfortable—especially for my wife and daughter. We’ve stayed at many Hyatt Place properties across the U.S., and they’ve always been consistent and reliable. This location, however, fell far below brand standards. Multiple issues at check-in, combined with a lack of proactive service, made this stay particularly frustrating. This stay took away from what should have been an enjoyable trip to the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. Based on this experience, I would not return, and I would strongly recommend considering other hotels nearby.

I like the location itself and the look of the property

The bathroom was dirty, hair that wasn’t mine all over the tub, the bedding was stained and the extra blanket I pulled out to use was tattered and ripped and just a bath blanket. The couch that was in the room was dirty also. I also left a bag of my hair care products and they kept it and told me they didn’t have it. I’ll never stay here, and will not recommend to anyone.

Rooms were nice. Clean. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good. Facilities in general were pleasant especially for the value.

We (single family) were put on a floor with a block of rooms for a travel hockey team for some reason? Needless to say they were not pleasant neighbors. Finally at midnight after nearly 2 hours of kids running up and down the halls, screaming, and drunk parents doing nothing or being just as obnoxious we had enough. I tried to call the front desk but the room's phone did not work. I tried to call on my cellphone but no one answered. Finally went down to the desk itself and no one was there. After 5 or so minutes standing there someone came over from the bar and asked if I needed something. I told him the issue and he said he'd come upstairs to check. Shortly after it settled down. Absolutely miserable night of little sleep. Where the heck was the staff?

The hotel allows 2 water bottles a day for free as a member, but there is not water dispenser available. One must use tap water for the coffee machine, if you can figure out the coffee machine. There are not directions. Also, in order to use the phone, you have to put it on speaker to get a dial tone. I didn't realize until our 2nd night that on the side of one of the mattresses there was a very large blood stain. Then, I noticed that blood must have gotten on the gray base of the bed too because you could see that someone tried to clean it, but just wiped it along the base throughout the fabric. Our toilet was running, and couldn't be flushed upon arrival, and there was no fan in the bathroom for the steam.

The air conditioner made a horrible howling noise at night and made it difficult to sleep. I called the front desk to let them know and it was so loud it made speaking on the phone difficult and the woman on the phone said she could hear it in the background.

I visited the Hyatt Place Buffalo for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was very glad that I did. The property itself is excellent. It is in a great location, easy to find, plenty around it and (when there's no snow), plenty of parking. The people working the front desk were very friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out. The lobby was very warm and inviting, especially after a long drive to get there. The room itself was outstanding. Plenty of room, very comfortable bed, plenty of lights, blackout blinds were excellent, heat worked perfectly, bed was very comfortable and the TV had a nice variety of channels. The bathroom was very well lit, the water pressure was excellent, hot water came quickly and there were plenty of soft towels. If I am ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here.

Service is horrible. When we checked in, they told us they were sold out of our king room that we had already pre booked and paid for. They finally did find “the last one” for us after we demanded it. And the parking and valet is a joke. It’s a traffic Jam when you arrive, and it will take well over an hour to get your car back. We ended up asking for our keys and walking a very long distance to get our car back just so we could leave.

This is a great Hyatt Place Hotel close to the expressway, restaurants, airport and shopping. We stay here several times per year. Used to live here.

Conveniently located if you are planning on attending a Buffalo Bills game or heading to the airport. There were many stores located close by. The pool and spa were great for the kids. They served a free hot breakfast every morning. We traveled with about 30 family members for a birthday party and then attending the Bills game on Sunday with some family coming from Connecticut and others from Canada. It was a great meeting place. They even sold some Bills clothing in case you didn't have any. The hotel did a great job in making sure that all of our rooms were located right next to each other. We have traveled in large groups before and some hotels were not as accommodating. We were able to rent out two of their meeting rooms on Saturday night to have a party in there. The rooms were large enough to play games like Cornhole and we were able to cater in our own food and brought our own sodas and water. The staff helped us all night long with bringing out garbage, setting up tables and chairs and they did this all with a smile on their face. Great staff! If you are a World of Hyatt member you can download a digital key and even use your Apple Watch to open up your door. It was very convenient. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Buffalo.

Funny how in the very front of the Hotel the Ukraine flag is higher than the American flag. Why flags an Ukraine flag, guess the priorities of this hotel is diverted to political instead guest service. Won’t be coming back.

The Hyatt Place was friendly, inviting, updated, spacious clean and better than we had expected. We also found the pool to be inviting. Will definitely come back when visiting family in Buffalo.

Came for an overnight stay because my daughter had her dental school interview. Hotel was very conveniently located with ample parking. Room was clean and spacious. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was adequate. Coffee could be a bit stronger, but that's what I like. They were testing the water and left notice that water might be out for about two hours. Because of this, I asked for a late check out so I have time to shower before I left. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. Small gym, but there is an indoor pool and hot tub.

Great location, reasonably priced- spacious room- nice gym, pool, hot tub and breakfast- you won't be disappointed! I liked it better than the Reickert House, which is much more expensive and in the same place!

The bathroom shower fixtures were loose on the wall and should have been at either end of the shower, not in the middle of the side wall. The shower curtain was too short and, therefore, wall leaked on the floor. None of the breakfast items were hot.

Tile in bathroom needs replacing. Bed was comfortable enough.
