Peaceful and comfortable

I didn't get back to top 10 till around 11.30pm but the beautiful lady let me and my family check in early. Was amazing views beautiful people all round outstanding. I will definitely book again

Quiet location and we had a view of the ocean.

Location. Good beds but too small.

Poor water flow in shower. Room heater under capacity.

Wonderful location right on the beach, very well equipped kitchen with lounge and games room, room was comfortable and warm with a nice deck outside, friendly helpful staff.

It was super comfortable, we got a little room with a shared bathroom. Perfect location. Everyone is quiet after 10pm. Friendly people over text as we check in late.

Not many park options as we had one person take our park or if it was meant to be for two cars, not sure.

I stayed at this nice cabin. I could park right next to it. It was easy to check-in and out. There are amazing beaches nearby. The cabin was well equipped. The staff was helpful (even with my car problems).

Highly recommend this holiday spot, the staff are amazing, the camp is in a beautiful part of nz, our chalet was a prefect home away for home, but for me the best part was just walking out gate of the holiday park onto a beautiful sandy beach throwing surf caster out and catching snapper, trevally, gurnard doesn't get any better that. Great week away thanks guys.

Great spot in a stunning area

The chalets do smell musty and there is lots of mould I the bathroom

The unit was not new, though it was clean and has the necessary stuff (cutlery, pans, towels, beddings, washing liquid). The staff was friendly and very helpful.

would be nice to cut a bit more bushes that are covering a view to sea

Not clean, old facilities, broken but nets so lots of insects

Good parking for my ute and boat, very handy to launching locations. Kind people in the camp. Definitely stay again. Thanks.

Got nothing bad to say.

The location, close to the beach, beach is good sport for the kids not too dangerous. The shop is a close drive too (gas station, fish and chip shop, dairy) or if you prefer to walk it is a bit longer just be prepared for the hill you’ll need to climb first to get there. We enjoyed the game room too. Enjoyed the activities that the staff member did for Easter.

The shower head needs to be replaced - not enough water flow. The security shade on the window by the seating area may need to be replaced as it would swing open when the window was open. Game room resources may need a revamp - it’s a popular spot for the kids - not enough things to do to keep kids entertained.

Great location, will certainly come again. Very quiet in March. Grounds well kept an staff very helpful.

The motel cabin kitchen had very few cooking utensils no bowls for salad or mixing and fry pan was too big and didn't fit on the elements.

The weather which couldn't be helped.

Helpful staff replaced my tv set box that was not working and paracetamol for my coughing and headaches. Very comfortable bed in a small cabin...helping a small family of quails across the road to safety.

Noisy guests in the games room kept me awake until 1 am...there is no point having quiet times 10 pm until 7 am as regulations if they are not enforced by staff. A roaming dog tipped over the kitchen rubbish bin which I cleaned up, and cats that both threaten and kill native wildlife.

Very basic camp grounds but was everything we needed, amazing location and very friendly staff

There is a lock on the main bathroom that would not open at times so couldn’t use the toilet or shower, not sure why it would lock itself.

Everything was great

It was great overall, only thing would like to mention that we were asked to bring our blankets, it was first time in Auckland and even in lower price per night we get nice cozy blankets, I think that should be added with may be reasonable increase in rent and if someone don't want to carry extra luggage for one night stay. Thanks for understanding.

The hut was clean and had everything I needed.

People next door had taken over the carpark etc whihc was a bit tricky.

The place as it was near to the beach just right outside the place.

The water from the faucet and the water pressure in the whower. The water in faucet is not a drinking water quality, it looks color yellowish or pee.

There was some funny smell on the fridge, probably a previous guest's fault. It was good in general but it could use a facelift.

All water (tab water in the kitchen, washroom) looks so bad... yellow and cloudy.... water quality should be improved.

The move from a cabin to the chalet!

I enjoyed my stay, I had both my dogs onsite and no issue.

The bugs were horrendous at night but typical for the area and time of year. Could do with an aircon or fan in the room.

Fantastic views. Great quiet place. We were late and had no reception where we were, so a bit worried about the 6pm office close. The wonderful staff gave good instructions via email on what to do so all worked out perfect.

It’s very lovely and lots of shady trees.

It was a shame the water ceased at about 6 Friday night. It was still off in the morning so I left at 7.30 am as I needed the toilet.

No hot water, shower kept leaking and TV wasn't working. Number given to contact if anything was wrong, did not do there job. I had spoken to the manger and was let down. I was not given reimburse as he said he was. Not a happy camper. We had left a list of all the thing wrong with it in room 24
