Ashburton's Regency Motel

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room smelt so lovely. Room was clean and had all we needed.

Just need to move TV to the end of bed on the wall instead of In front of chairs.

Man I spoke to was very courteous and kind. We provided our own breakfasts so can't comment on how the breakfast were like. We found it fairly simple to get to the places we needed to go to from our Unit. The electric kettle's lid wouldn't close...I was thanked for telling him about it and he replaced it immediately.

We have no complaints.

Easy to find and access, convenient parking. Plenty of space in the room. Bed was comfy and clean.

Spa bath wasn’t working ☹️

Lovely clean and roomy studio room

All good - no downside

Close to bars

The heating was not sufficient for the room and the globes for the bathroom heating didn’t work also the shower is very small and cramped

Quiet location and easy check in.

It was close to the RSA and clean and tidy

TV was a bit small for the room-

I loved the Spa Bath.

Friendly staff

A spacious room. Clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. I would book this motel again the next time I visit Ashburton

Very comfortable room. Room large.

Nothing.

I liked that fact I could have my one year old puppy with me whole my stay. That's why I would recommend anyone else has a pet to stay at this motel

That i didn't find this place sooner

Quiet, lovely staff and v clean facilities. Studio unit - perfect size

Tea selection minimal ( no herbal, only one type black tea). To only have 2 cups and 2 glasses frustrating when occasional visitor comes

Very nice and spacious for what we wanted and price we paid

Spacious and modern unit with spa bath. Firm bed with plenty of blankets. Efficient heat pump and welcoming staff/manager. Probably ranking a second on our South Island journey

Room clean and bed is very comfortable. The place is clean and well equipped. I had a very comfortable stay. They also provide fresh milk which is a bonus.

nothing

Great staff accomodating us having 2 long trailers and no problem parking them

Lovely and quiet … away from road noise

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Friendly staff. What more could you want. Good value for money

No complaints

The location

Overall the unit was dirty. The whole unit is in need of an upgrade from new toilet, shower, carpet, all furniture basically and the bedding. The bedding looked like it was just thrown on the bed - not presented nicely. Dirty toilet floor, marks on the walls, doors, floors, shower old but good water pressure, small dented rubbish bin. Kitchen cabinets old and pretty rough looking. Towel rail not screwed to the wall. Carpet old and stained. Very old stained/marked toilet. Blind on door didn't wind up. We stayed in Unit 7. This unit was not for us but we fully understand others would like it. When asked to review we give comments on our stay and what we thought of it and are honest about our personal experience.

Great stay clean and comfortable Would definitely stay again Staff were friendly and helpful

They were amazing. I turned up and found I had booked the wrong month but the went above and beyond to accommodate me and were fantastic.

Staff were very friendly on arrival. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and good location.

My favourite motel in Ashburton. I’ve been staying few times. The best is the units all on ground floor, no need to upstairs. And units are warm, comfy bed, full equipped, a bit old motel but still acceptable , will be back again.

The room had been fully renovated. New carpet, new cabinets, new shower etc.

房間很大 有廚房 有小桌子 還有毛巾加熱桿

Location was great. Friendly staff. Room clean

Beds were very hard

Great wee motel. Clean, comfortable and warm. Bonus that it has a pool., also a great that it’s dog friendly, and yet still very clean We were in town for a race event but we will be back for a wee family holiday I’m sure

The room was spacious and clean. The service was friendly and welcoming. Good sized carpark too.

Very good

Clean and comfortable with electric blankets and air conditioning greatly appreciated.

Room 9 shower did not meet our expectations. Water pressure and temperature were substandard.

Friendly staff amazing tidy clean room 10/10.

Service .was great

The property was awesome the guy that ran the office was brilliant

There was nothing to dislike was an awesome place to stay

Bed was comfy

No staff on arrival when time of arrival had been stated Waiting to pay bill when I needed to go get some food after a long day The thoughtless placement of the bed in regards to charging my phone instead of having a Multi board by the bed i plugged my phone into power point then pushed my bed back against the wall and it damaged my charger

Level acess and very quiet.Lovely host and very comfortable bed.

Quier and clean

Slow wifi

Clean spacious & very family friendly! The motel manager was great with my kids & gave them towels to go play in the pool as we checked in!

Nothing was slightly more expensive but supply demand was a busy weekend in the area!

Lovely spotlessly clean. Nice pool. The apartment was spacious. TV with lots of channels to choose from. Nice big bathroom with a bath. All you need to cook with. The staff went out of their way to help even lending me their phone to call my Aunty in Nelson. High recommendation.

Nothing !

Very nice welcome

We have tried a few locations in the area and have more trips planed in the near future. We feel the way we're treated by what I assume was the owner, the quality and value for money makes it a simple choice for our next visits. Thank you.

There was no negative sides for us

My third stay here and it’s my Ashburton regular now. The rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable.

Nothing

Simply easy to communicate with the owner.

Nothing

The pool was great

Clean modern comfortable room and helpful staff.

Kitchen a little small and toaster did not work. Sorry we forgot to mention this to the owner at the time.

I eas quite pleased with the room at the Andorra Motel at a very affordable price!

Not sure, I liked it all!

This is a very comfortable , friendly motel. The manager immediately gave us a place under shelter to put our motorbike , we usually have to park in the open . The unit was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed.

Couldn't fault the motel. It was a bit far from shops or restaurants for us to walk, though if we were younger it wouldn't have been a problem.

Peaceful and quiet except when the train passes by

Its not walking distance to supermarket

Nice location many thanks

Very quiet, spacious room

The shower over the bath was awkward

Friendly owners and staff. Very clean and spacious room.

It was close to the park

The carpet was so dirty stained

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness were awesome 🤩. Had noisy neighbours the night we stayed which ment very little sleep but the facilities were just great.

The noisy neighbours in the next unit.

Good size for studio Value for money Set well back from the road so quiet Comfortable bed Adequate kitchen

Twenty metre walk from car to room door

The motel complex has so much potential. The unit was clean and well-equipped, but required a serious update. I am sure the new owners will attend to this. I liked the fact that all the units are single-storey. The beds were comfortable. There is a swimming pool there for guests to use.

The bathroom and toilet are probably the number one priority.

Brilliant experience would recommend really comfortable rooms and bed best yet for disability

Liked everything

Clean and comfortable room. Nice and quite

My mother had a fall. The owner was very supportive. Not all worried about a small amount of damage. Very concerned for mum so appreciated his kind words.

Large size of rooms, well presented, nice decor. Well situated for where we needed to go. Nice to have a little kitchen.

Our 1 bedroom had a real homely feel to it. The water pressure for the shower was great and it was so good to have a oven. The pool is heated with pool towels available in the laundry room. The manager Bunny was such a good hardworking guy he goes above and beyond for his guest and the fact it has a Laundry room 👌 I definitely recommend for anyone needing to stay in Ashburton.
