Beds a bit soft for me but personal preference., can't please everybody. This won't stop me coming back though.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Walking distance to Ashburton Domains so if you have an active dog , it’s a very handy location. Spacious room, great cooking facilities, and comfortable beds. The extra single bed is very helpful. Got Netflix, what a surprise! Super helpful staff who texts me the room and direction details and left the lights on when knowing that we would arrive later than 7pm. Loved the stay, will absolutely book again on next visit.

Got there at 12.30 in the day ... every other unit there was full of sunshine except where mine was ... no sun at all.. and very cold for that time of day .. had to have heater on for rhe whole stay ..... the motels weren't full so they could have upgraded as most usually do ...the only comfortable chair to sit on was broken ... .. was tempted to ask for a different room which I have never felt like or done before
