I was on the ground floor & I could hear every movement the people above me made.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Julie and Mike were exceptionally accommodating for us as we arrived unexpectedly in Dunedin- and didn't know how long we would be there. The location was perfect- walking distance to hospital and town- could make our own breakfast, heat food and come and go to hospital without needing the car. Room warm and comfortable- booked there several times. Had an upstairs room- loved the sunny deck in the mornings
No complaints

All good however one bed adjacent to bathroom so other bed occupants would need to open that door to get access to the bathroom. Not the best design.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Very friendly and helpful staff, good location close to the university and city and easy access for travelling both North and South of the city. The room was very clean and warm with a heat pump. The small bedroom had a wall heater too but I found the heat pump was sufficient to keep the entire unit warm. It was great having the facilities to enable food preparation rather than having to eat out all the time. Plenty of parking too.
Nothing really, the bathroom basin is a bit small though with older style shower with curtain rather than door but everything was clean and linen was changed daily if required.

Reviewed May 10, 2026Lovely motel with an heritage character guesthouse and motel studio rooms behind. We were there for medical reasons and being grad weekend Julie showed me to a different room than the one we booked which would be quieter and more comfortable, which it was. The location is fabulous too. I appreciate the customer care Julie showed and will definitely stay again.
Nothing.
