Too much noise. Property states that they are sound proof, but they are definitely not. So its ok if you don’t mind noise. We were close to the road, in the bottom room. And could hear the students, their partying and conversations all around all night. Could hear all the conversations that walked past. Could also hear the people staying upstairs especially when they got their uber eats delivered and having their showers after midnight.

The room was a little dated and perhaps in need of a lick of paint to spruce things up. Some mold on the bathroom ceiling.

Clean and had an amazing sleep on the most amazing sheets and such comfortable beds. Highly recommend. We will be back in three weeks. Thank you so much.

What is it with NZ motel showers! I'm embarrassed to take overseas visitors to NZ motels and having a trickle for a shower. Not good enough NZ. When traveling a nice full flow shower is a relief at the end of the day. Our only fault with this motel and the floors were covered in crumbs.

Easy to talk to and felt loved She De iced everyone's cars in Winter , I have never seen a motel go up and beyond for there customers like that ! ,very nice to see when they go out of there way to make you enjoy every part of your stay, I felt very welcomed and appreciated by there Hospitality they shared. Rooms were very Warm with heat pumps on , electric blankets , Clean tidy ,very Close to City , Beach , city Activities. It was the best Price for what I was looking for , Good job guys will be Staying there again 😁

Was under the impression we had booked a room with a spa, only to find out that wasn't the case, not even a bath. Debated it with the host, was given a pen instead.....the pillows where so uncomfortable I literally slept without one. The bathroom fan sounded like it was going to take of and the shower water temperature dial seemed to have been adjusted to restrict the temperature. It was serviceable, budget accommodation with a good location.

The location was also ideal, with an easy 10 to 15 minute walk straight down George Street to the CBD.
