Dark, tired, dingy, lack of pillows no reception staff, no after hours contact if anything u need for your room. Fridge had rust overall was awful and left at 7am just to get out of room

The bathroom was not cleaned well - stain on the toilet and basin which we removed.

I was greated with a lovely welcome and the couple running this resort are so caring and go out of there way to help. Mum and I found it quiet but very peaceful staying here and it is exactly what we needed. Please support more of our businesses at Mauao as many are struggling. We will be back. Carla and Jan

WoW! I was treated with the up most respect and decentcey and catered for exceptional well. The,bed,shower,spa,pool,the room, oh my goodness. EXCELENT!!! I can only sing praises about my stay at Twin Towers Osean View Resort. The hospitality was 5 star! My friend came to visit and they too were really shocked and greatful for the venue. I was even more stoked. I have enjoyed my stay so much that I am staying on for another night!!!!

There was an apartment owner on the same level as me and was very very much of an annoyance. She has gained the name crazy ladie name.

Perfect place to get away, nice and close to the beach, restaurant and food store

Really poor condition. Felt very uncomfortable. Actually checked out a day earlier because we felt so uncomfortable sleeping in this accommodation.

The room wasn’t overly clean - there was dust on the tv and dirty socks just under the bed ( not ours); we could only get 1 channel on the tv and it was pixelated a lot of the time The biggest issue was our designated car parking space - we could not fit our car in due to a pillar over the line of our space (there was car parked on the other side) so we had to park on the roadside. The staff just shrugged their shoulders - why have a pillar over the space?

The unit is dated and needs a refresh. The manager at the apartment is unfriendly and they are stingy. You have to beg for extra toilet paper.

My parking space had a pillar that made it difficult to park, particularly because a HUGE 4x4 was parked in the next park, so, despite my best efforts I managed to catch the pillar and scratch my car, which cost me $750 to fix. They need to put pads on the pillars or change the layout ! The other issue I have is that the photos that were displayed for the ‘executive studio’ were at odds with what I actually got. And despite having booked this hotel/resort many times in the past am STILL left wondering how to get a room in the ACTUAL TOWERS ! Been coming for years and always been shoved in the annexe at the back. I think the ‘Twin Towers’ element of this place is fictional. In nearly 20 years of coming here I’ve never had the option, or been offered, a room in the towers. I think it’s false advertising and the shouldn’t include it in their description. Guess I’m still p***** off by their parking places, the person with the 4x4 wasn’t even STAYING in the room next to me, so why was he there anyway !!??

The Oceanside hotel is a good place to stay. The location is amazing, only a short walk to either the waterfront restaurants and cafes or the Mt Maunganui main street. It was very quiet. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Secure underground carparking is handy too.

The car park is quite tight because space has been maximised. There is street parking too. The room/decor could use a refresh.

Another wonderful stay! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the location is fantastic, and the pool is definitely a highlight. We always enjoy staying here and will happily come back again. Highly recommended! 😊

We love coming to Oceanside. Friendly staff, great location and secure parking.

Some of the parking is tight to get into, but you get the hang of it and it’s secure.

Great location, right by the beach. Having parking provided was a huge bonus, as parking can be difficult to find in the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was much bigger than expected. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

There was no Netflix available, which wasn’t promised but is something many accommodations now offer. In future, I’d recommend bringing an HDMI device or cable if you’d like to connect your own device to the TV. No major issue though - just useful on a winter's day!

location is great. I travel for work and like that I can make a meal and dont need to go to a restaurant, although they are close if I wish.

Parking spaces are terribly small. I really battled getting in between 2 other SUV's into parking 110. Also the low ventilation shafts are a problem. Reversing into a parking you cant see them and yet you can drive straight into them, or into the protruding pieces of metal from the brackets. if the parking is NOT full, rather space cars. I could not open my doors after getting into the parking space??

It was clean well presented. The bed was comfortable. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the beach and town.

The room is very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely pool and spa with a gym. The central location to shopping centre and the mall. The beach and cafes just a short walk, it was so relaxing and inviting a warm welcome from the staff was very nice as well. We will back again to stay, it is our favourite getaway holiday stay at the Oceanside Resort. Thank you so much.

As a familiar and returning customer Oceanside is a reliable place to stay.

Some of the facilities are getting a little rundown. Nice to see the new pool decking and entrance area.

the dished in the cupboard were not really clean, one glass had tons of washing liquid inside. I wish there was shampoo in the shower.

Mount Maunganui is one of our favourite places in the world to be. I grew up in Tauranga, and my Dad and Uncle were bouncers at the Oceanside Hotel years ago. Our stay was everything we imagined, thank you.

NO cooking facilities, the room was for a wheelchair user. No soap in dispenser.

Stayed approx 8 hours - I arrived late (after 1030 pm and was gone at 0600). Good service and directions to get to the drop box. Overall comfortable as there was no other accommodation in TGA during this time - it was a last minute need to be there.

Only means of heating was the Heat pump, and the windows were left open so the place in winter was stone cold. Turned on the heat pump, it worked well, however the Noise of the Exchange Unit outside was so loud (as it was next to the master bedroom bed) that I had to turn it off to sleep. Not that it bothered me that much, but the "Free" WIFI - didn't work. I paid the for the room on Booking.com in full - and then at the last minute the accommodation directly dropped me an email asking for a $200 deposit - and then they would provide the details on where to get the key and access the building etc. (That I thought was odd - as I didn't read that in the fine print.) They were quick to refund the deposit 2-3 days after the stay.

Staff was friendly, but there was a miscommunication to explain and help us understand the parking entrance, showing us the picture of the key/pole on the desk would have been helpful - not just pointing to the map. The apartment was in a great location, had a nice view, it was spacious, had all the needs met and the lounge was comfortable.

The shower had black mold around the top of the glass and came off easily on a cloth, so I don't think it has had a good clean in a while, the apartment smelled of bleach and unfortunately the bed was too firm for me to get a good night sleep. The whole building is very run down which is a shame. We have stayed there many years ago, but I don't think we will go back in future.

They advertise as twin tower, but when they allocate room, they allocate resort ground floor rooms. So for someone who has booked for view, it is worthless.

There were rude tenants within the premises. we could hear them throughout the night rowdy noisy.
