Really cute, well-organised cabins in the middle of a gorgeous orange orchard, run by super-friendly and helpful people. We loved our 2-day stay and would definitely stay again.

WiFi was a bit sketchy at times.

Room was ok with all amenities was cold when arrived maybe in winter owners of lodge could hear up room before guests arrive. TV was small but ok overall I would give 5/10, host was very pleasant.

It was clean and tidy With a great hot shower

The cabin/cottage was a good size for a family and had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable and felt like home.

I loved that the owner of the property & the First Lady who we meet on site was lovely and friendly and checked in

I didn’t appreciate the rude women who come over to our cottage and demanded for me to make the additional $40 for the room she wasn’t very nice at all she just told me . I was reminded before hand and was making my way to the office but went to sleep due to the travel and long day at sports all day .

Everything! The location was perfect- near town but very private. It had everything we needed. Seeing the farm animals was a bonus, especially for our little boy.

Absolutely loved our stay here. My two kids loved the animals, loved the scenery and waking up to trees full of fruit. So clean, such a beautiful cottage. We will ALWAYS book everytime we come back up. The staff were so lovely, especially the lady that checked us in. She showed us around and was so helpful. The two at the chicken coop were lovely also, my son loved meeting the pigs. Such a special place. Thank you all so much!

Location is great, handy to main town and much more. Super cute and cozy family vibe.

The sandflies and mosquitoes were a pain, but a bit of bug repellent works well. Every sound you make feels like its heard through the house, so you find yourself whispering and tip toeing through the house. The Shower cube is enclosed so it feels a bit gross, and the windows in the bathroom need more covering because you literally can see someone using these amenities from outside.

Friendly, welcoming hosts that made me feel at home. Comfortable, clean bedroom and bathroom. Amenable kitchen. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Free wifi.

Not the easiest to get to, it's just off the highway but easy to miss and awkward if coming northbound as it's on the opposite side. Also there were quite a few mosquitoes.

The surroundings & location were beautiful. The place was super clean and comfortable. The host was so welcoming and helpful. Relaxing and quiet. Loved it!

I am quite an enjoyer of nature so being surrounded by trees and birds especially there seemed to be one tui hanging around every morning it was beautiful. The bedding was really comfortable and it was easy to get to sleep. Everything else was perfect and it would definitely recommend this to people staying in kerikeri and I would too next time.

A comfortable home in the country. A short drive from Kerikeri on a working orchard. Lots of room to relax inside and out. Is wheelchair accessible to the deck and an accessible bathroom for those who need it.

Bin ein totaler Fan dieser Unterkunft und war schon oft da. Die Cottages sind einfach aber immer absolut sauber. Es ist alles da, um zu kochen etc. Die Lage mitten in der Orangenplantage ist sehr schön. Man kann mit den Küchenabfällen die Schweinchen füttern. Es ist auch immer eine Schale der leckeren Bio-Orangen im Cottage. Danke 🤩

We had a very pleasant stay at Relax a Lodge. The place is amazing, surrounded by orange trees and a beautiful garden. The house was very comfortable and clean. The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home :) We would definitely stay here again.

A refreshing break from impersonal hotels.

Shared bathroom, but it comes with the territory.

Large plot of land attached to the lodge full of fruit trees, some chickens and a couple of pigs ( in pens, not roaming all over the place!) It is a shortish car ride to Kerikeri, Waitangi Treaty grounds, Paihia and ferry to Russel, probably too far to walk so a car is needed. The owner helpfully left my sister and husband park their camper van (so were self sufficient) for the duration of the stay and at no cost which was kind of him. It was season for oranges so we were offered them each day- they were lovely and sweet, thanks!

Beautiful peaceful setting and private. The beds were so comfortable and a nice hot shower with great water pressure. Thank you for a very lovely stay.

Lodge au milieu de vergers, il y a une très jolie terrasse et une piscine pour profiter des beaux jours. Le Lodge était très propre, notre chambre tout comme les espaces communs, et le personnel extrêmement sympathique

The pigs , the pool, the premises but most of all the people ,wonderful hosts.

Clues is very friendly and accommodating, and very interesting to talk to. He is around if you need him but he leaves you to enjoy the property in peace if you don’t. A clear passion for sustainability and environmental care is evident. The kids loved the pool and feeding the pigs. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.

The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable.

It was awesome that we could have our dog with us and could walk her in the orchard. She loved the kunekune. Staff were nice and helpful. As it had been raining, they allowed us to check in 1 1/2 hours earlier and we were able to watch Netflix. The very clean cottage was in a lovely orchard and the oranges were sweet to eat. My son loved the swimming pool and we were able to cook tea on the gas top stove and the small elecric oven. 10/10 for my family.

I liked the area, it's beautiful, there's a lot of space, it's very relaxing inside, it's very clean, especially the comfortable room, everything is beautiful.

Location was ideal close to central kerikeri without being amongst all the traffic very peaceful

If it wasn’t for the absence of a microwave oven the stay would have been perfect.

It was surrounded by an orchard, lovely chickens and pigs and a cozy pool. This is our second time coming here

Be mindful that if you stay at the main house, you will share it with others, including the owner. The owner is incredibly hospitable, so it's not a bad thing at all, but perhaps not to everyone's liking for a vacation.

Enjoyed the out of town location and the privacy of our batch, set amongst the orange groves with a dishful of oranges on arrival. Great facilities and plenty of hot water. Our little dog loved the freedom to roam safely outside and meeting the pigs, lambs and chickens. Wi-fi a little slow at times and beds a tad firm for us but otherwise super relaxing - with a fitting name.

very cosy vibes, the host was extremely sweet and easy to communicate with!! even with times changing he was very accommodating. 11/10

Sauber, gemütlich, die Terrasse mit Blick in die Orangenbäume (Organic) war recht privat, gute Betten und frische Früchte, spielende Vögel - süße Schweine- alles was das Herz begehrt. Claes und Familie waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit- Relax a Lodge war relaxed und voller guter Energie.

It was very homey, the staff was very friendly and he offered fresh produce from his farm, parking was safe, and the general ambiance was amazing at is was surrounded by trees.

A charming lodge looking over an orange grove , with hens roaming and birds singing through the day as you sip your coffee/ beer/ wine on the deck. Just lovely.

Peaceful easy to find close enough to town beautiful bath the most comfy bed . Private surrounded by nature fruit and you can have your fur baby there pet friendly. All round excellent place to stay .

Rural scenery with beautiful rustic interior and swimming pool available. Surrounding organic orchard with farm animals. Affordable, clean and comfortable. Host is very accommodating. Great outdoor verandah areas

No locks on the bedroom door and towels not provided for double rooms and dormitory stays. More designated parking area and signage needed ie; keep bathroom clean, food scraps etc. Only one shared bathroom available

close to work site and as I worked nightshift very quiet and the owners were very considerate. would recommend to all.

The setting in amongst the citrus trees is beautiful. Claus is a lovely host and the bungalows are obviously very well looked after and maintained. Beds very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are great. Absolute bonus that we can have the dogs join us for a weekend away!

Everything was great but a sofa that’s a bit comfier would be great.

The fact that you felt part of the family as soon as you walked through the door!

Maybe a slightly softer bed, but I kind of expected a hard one as that tends to be the norm.

I really appreciated how clean the facilities were and how everything was well-organized for me before I arrived, which made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Also like the hens, pigs, oranges and everything there

Had to provide own food Had to ask for a towel; would have thought there would have been one provided.

Perfect accommodation. A very spacious and comfortable two bedroom stand alone house. Very clean and supplied with everything you could want, especially in the kitchen. Shower had excellent water pressure. The spa bath looked very good though we didn't use it. The beds were comfortable and the wardrobes were useful. Pretty view of the organic orchard from all the windows. A lovely welcome when we arrived. A very easy drive to Kerikeri, just around the corner.

Quiet and self contained, can’t wish fir more!

The first night was quite noisy.

A wonderful stay with Klaus in relax a lodge. Facilities were kept very clean. A bonus to have received free fruit from local orchards that were organic and had not been sprayed with any of those chemicals 🤮. Helpful signs in the bathroom ensured I was urinating correctly and with the appropriate level of cleanliness and excitement 👍

The rooms in the main lodge didn't lock. This may have been unnerving but I felt safe regardless and comforted by Klaus' presence. A British boy did wander into our room on the last night talking about Bristol cricket club and a strong innings from Jock McKenzie. While it made for a strange experience his offering of 'table tomatoes' cut through any potential tension.

The owner was grumpy, his dog had very bad arthritis and cried trying to climb the steps, extremely distressing for all the quests
