Blue Seas Motel

Beautiful view from the hotel to the sea. Lovely way to have a coffee and quiet start to day. Great stop on way through and easy for whole family.

Nothing much

Excellent location, we walked just outside the door and got amazing sunrise views, cons its an older motel and the shower pressure was pretty average, overall pretty good place and very well priced.

The view is magnificent.

Was not very clean ,the duvet and pillow slips that matched was very outdated and not changed. Shower could do with a good clean in the grout. Under toilet rim was filthy and had obviously never had a scrub. Out of seven hotels we stayed at on our holiday it was definitely the worst one

Very friendly staff, quick checkin , very quiet place.

This motel is situated right on the sea front in walking distance of the town centre. The room was well equipped for the self catering we prefer with clean and modern facilities.

Great place to stay across the road from the water. Updated bathroom and kitchen in the apartment Reception very welcoming

All good

On the Esplanade. Loved hearing the sea.

The Blue Seas Motel is located across the street from the ocean and offers beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, stove top, microwave and tea kettle. Our only complaint is that the windows lacked any screens and the unit had no air conditioner or fans. We had to open the windows because it was very warm inside, and dozens of flying insects came into the room.

Quiet. Minimal traffic noise. Comfortable.

Great to have kitchen facilities. Great view

I would like the environment of the property and the service is excellent!

Clean, comfortable room. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly & helpful.

Stayed a few times. Love position and price

Great location across the road from the beachside walk. Easy check in. Would be really helpful to have a mirror beside a power point in the living room for hair drying. The hair dryer can't be used in the bathroom, where the only mirror is, as the power point there is only for razors.

Last persons head hair though bed

Wonderful location. Easy check in. Lovely reception lady. Would definitely stay again.

Such good value& really enjoyed proximity to beach& view

Friendly staff and clean and tidy unit

It’s probably not the fanciest in town but it’s so warm, directly across from non-built up beach (so you get beautiful dark skies). It’s clean and comfy as. Really lovely front of house. I’ll come back!

The location is awesome, opposite a lovely beach... Beautiful scenery as well

Every thing was great

Friendly & helpful management

Very clean and well presented Excellent value for money Would stay again

Apart from the oven not working properly it was a great place to stay

Tidy & clean. Looked to be recently redecorated? Comfortable bed. Fabulous shower & well appointed kitchen. Right across the street from the beach. Reasonable price.

Nicely refurbished room on main esplanade.

This property was clean and tidy handy to the shops. Owners were very friendly

Suited our needs

good place to stay, modern and clean

Nice and just a little drive to center.

Quiet location, good parking, clean and roomy and friendly helpful staff.

Quiet place to stay.

Great location 15 minute walk to the heart of Kaikoura.

Liked everything good location. Beds were uncomfortable

Pleasant greeting and efficient check-in. Property clean with good little kitchen and refurbished bathroom. Smart TV and good wifi. Handy to beach and town

Stayed at the Blue Seas before. Clean and tidy and nice and quiet. Unit I had had a modern bathroom and kitchen. Friendly owners. About only downside was that the wifi access was a bit poor.

We've stayed at Blue Seas Motel a number of times, and appreciate the upgrading they have done recently. It is in a great location on the waterfront. It is good value

Walk in shower not draining well, resulting in water through-out bathroom.

The owner was very receptive to suggestions :)

Comfortable beds, excellent staff. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Great value stay. Older property however clean and comfortable and the bathroom has been renovated. Friendly welcome, quiet and directly across from the beach.

Clean and tidy. Great location. Good value.

Beautiful views! The motel is just across from the water. Morning coffee watching the water was great.

Excellent motel. Everything is new and clean and in an excellent condition. There's everything you need for your stay in the kitchen. Friendly welcome on arrival and helpful in recommending the best places to eat. Highly recommend this motel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Simple clean Accomodation at great location

Lovely amenities Will stay here again

Very clean comfortable spacious close to town

Nice

Closeness to beach

It was clean and comfortable. The rooms were hot so a fan or two would have been nice.

Welcoming. Opposite the beach. Compact bathroom with lovely shower. Somewhere to eat outside with table. Internet a bit slow but good TV and good variety of services.
