I didn’t like the pillows two pillows hurt one pillow was not enough had to go and buy my own my Son also found this too

Was given the front room by the state highway , after requesting to not be near the road. park for the unit was a bit small. Could have been a bit cleaner , bed was a little soft for me.

Good place to stay

Staff were quick to assist when we found out original room had no hot water...owner came and changed us to next room Was handy to where we wanted to go for the weekend Was quiet... Second room large and was an upgrade Had sky channels so we could watch the All Blacks game!!

Easy to get to

Extremely bad wifi and every time the doors slam from other units, it echos loudly and vibrate.

We didnt expect to recieve the amount of help it was was wonderful and we will go back again

Bed a little soft

Mould around the top of the bath and also around the jets. Dirt on the floor at the back of the toilet. A rusted/dirty looking hole in the vinyl of the bathroom. Cloths that looked stained. Overall the state of the bathroom was terrible. Other things were adequate but when the spa bath was the drawcard to book here for it to be so dirty looking was a real let down.

Bed was comfy as, spa bath good as, hot water in shower in morning seemed like it could be hotter but was algood overall

Very accommodating for a last minute booking. Staff friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. Large room size.

Shower pressure wasn't overly great.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Close to a range of shops and restaurants.

Jaimin the receptionist/cleaner is a perfect host. He’s also very good at multitasking.

The sound of heavy vehicles along the High Street kept me awake at times. I was also disturbed by some vehicles arriving or leaving the motel at odd times:; such as late at night & early in the morning.

Bathroom needs to be renovated. Holes and mismatched vinyl flooring. Kitchenette was basic, only a microwave, jug and toaster. You cannot cook in this kitchenette

Clean and tidy, great location

the room was a nice size. it was clean and tidy. the double bed was too soft for me, but the single was firm for me and my friend had the double. i requested a late check out and was offered 10:30am instead of 10:am without extra cost but would need to pay after 10:30am at $20 per hour which i thought was fair. But we left at 10am instead as we were up earlier than expected. so good.

maybe a firmer bed but my friend said it was fine - other wise no issues

The tiny pottles of milk. Could provide larger milk. I bring my own porridge and drink quite a bit of tea with milk. Wasnt enough for two people.

Hard bed, poor maintenance of bathroom - had broken lino right where you step into the tired spa bath. Unfortunately had a power cut on arrival that lasted for about 4 and a half hours, no compensation offered, just an apology.

Water pressure in shower was poor.

No breakfast was supplied. The location was good.

There was no facility to cook anything, except a microwave.

Unit was quite dated. Lots of little things hadn't been maintained.

We had not stayed at South Park for quite some time, but we were instantly reminded of its close proximity to the main shopping area, only a few minutes drive and for a motel on the Main Road in and out of Masterton it was surprisingly quiet. Would be happy to stay there again.

It was to hot to think about what I didnt like other than the room was very very hot would of been nice to have aircon on .

The fact that the rooms were so quiet. I thought that being on the main road, I may have heard all of the traffic. But no, very quiet.

The location was perfect for our stay - close to family, and services we were in Masterton for.

A refresh of the bathroom would be a huge advantage to the motel as it was not to the standard expected.

Warm welcoming hosts who went the extra to ensure I felt welcomed and settled - many thanks.

Bang for buck this was exactly what I wanted. I turned up later than expected and got a follow up call making sure I was coming and letting me know where to go and what to do etc, so that was much appreciated.

Not much. The heater was a bit asthmatic and took a good few hours to warm the place up, but hey, I think that's getting a bit fussy to be honest.

The property was close to town, on a Main Street with off streets parking but, super quiet at night. The family room was comfortable, warm and the staff showed us the room, the facilities and was super friendly.
