Argent Motor Lodge

So Clean Great communication

Bed too soft for us but that's just personal preference

Lovely and clean, very friendly host Easy to find and park

Room was spacious, glean, great facilties, sky TV which we weren't expecting, great location to Waikato Hospital where we were visiting family. Friendly staff, very quiet a wonderful oasis for a stressful time

Liked everything

We really loved the rooms, the service and the staff, The manager was so lovely and provided everything we need like an extra toilet seat riser for my elderly dad and he gave us an extra hour to checked out due to my dad's condition. Even the mobility car park was so convenient for my parents just right in front of their room. We would like to visit again in the future. Thank you so much and bless you all.

Location ideal for hospital appointment

Staff were amazing and even called me the day before to see if id like an early check in. Beds super comfy! Bathroom was spacious and clean.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and was very clean. Nice heated tile floors in the bathroom. I would recommend this stay as a motor lodge to anyone.

Excellent service. Graeme rang to say we were welcome to check in early. He also gave us a ride to our 8:30am appointment at the hospital 😀

Such friendly and professional stuff. Nice room.

Super helpful staff. Big room with fridge, sink, microwave, dishes, utensils

Helicopter noise for nearby hospital

Pretty cool place

Everything good 👍

The location was perfect easy to travel around, the staff were very welcoming and polite. We will definitely book this accommodation again.

This is an excellent place to stay. A comfortable sofa and large screen tv in the lounge area and bedroom. A very spacious bathroom and a well equipped kitchenette. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable

Proximity to waikato hospital, cleanliness was exceptionally high. Wonderful accomadating staff.

Nothing I didn't like

Graham went above and beyond before we even arrived for our stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was super handy to everything we needed.

N/a

Very clean and tidy. The service was so great! Lovely people running the Argent. And so close to the hospital, just a short walk away

NA

- clean spacious rooms with kitchenettes, toiletteries, - the friendliest hotel manager/innkeeper ever I accidentally left my gold rings in the room after i checked out. As soon as i realised this i called him, he immediately went to look for it and assured me that it's safe now, and went to pick it up shortly after. I forget your name Sir, but you are an angel! Overall, argent lodge was a winner!

Flat bathroom floors

Graeme was very helpful communication excellent even before we arrived he made contact rooms were very clean location excellent.

very friendly host and very clean

Very tidy inside and outside. Easy access two rooms.

Graham (owner) had phoned to confirm we had a groundfloor room as requested. He offered to have the room ready in advance of normal check-in time and offered to take us to the hospital for the booked procedure the next day. Upon arrival, the room was warmed by the heatpump turned on in advance. Very cold day, so a thoughtful gesture. Cannot speak highly enough of this owner and motel!

Nothing at all.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and great heating.

Great place to stay. Very close walking distance to the hospital. Very clean and modern and nice with everything you need. All the sky channels and nice toiletries. Very kind and helpful owners who go out of their way to help with booking and changing dates because of changing surgery dates at the hospital. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was just nice

Customer service was amazing. We received a phone call on the day we were due to arrive, informing us that they would not be around upon arrival so have clear instructions on where the key was held and also, that the TV would be on and the room would be warm. Can’t ask for more then this welcoming service

Very welcoming receptionist and other staff very accommodating. Owner professional. Overall great customer service. Very clean and tidy grounds and rooms. Rooms very comfortble and quiet.

Lovely owner, warm tidy rooms

Little bit noisy out the back

Amazing clean spacious studio room. Had a fridge, microwave, small kitchen. Plenty of parking space and amazing staff. Got an upgrade to a very big room, I think because it's second floor.

Just the shower I got, is not enclosed. So water was getting out everywhere. Had to fashion a barrier with towels so water won't got to the toilet. Might just be specifically the room I was in.

Nicely updated motel. Very clean and modern. Wonderful service. Our room was warmed up for us when we arrived late on a winter night. Much appreciated. Perfect for a stopover on the way through Hamilton.

I received a lovely welcome and the heat pump was on so the room was cosy when I arrived. It was so clean and comfortable. Located just next to the Waikato hospital it is also only a 6 minute drive from the city centre as well.

clean friendly

Attention to detail and kindness displayed by owner.

I liked the size, the cleanliness of the room and the kitchen

Open parking

Great location. Close to the hospital. Wonderful customer service. Clean room and great facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Mainly location and have everything

Toilet to close to wall and Toilet paper

The staff were very accommodating. The facilities were great. The cleaners were exceptional. The location is perfect.

Our bedside lamp must have had a blown bulb and the heat pump was abit moody

Very convenient for Waikato hospital, exceptionally clean and comfortable

Nothing

Well designed room

Graeme was amazing and so accommodating. As a disabled person he went over and above to make my stay comfortable. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable which was an added bonus. Thank you for your awesome hospitality.

Clean and tidy.

Close to a busy road but didn’t hear much traffic.

Great place to stay! Warm and inviting. Staff were amazing!

No faults.

Ideal location just near the hospital

Everything was wonderful thanks

Great place to stay to watch balloons over waikato

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Even heating our room up for us

Awesome place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was amazing and spotlessly clean. The king size bed was so comfortable. So quiet considering proximity to a very busy road and the hospital. Price was affordable in comparison to other motels in Hamilton. Will definitely stay here again.

The man on reception is extremely friendly and welcoming, he took us to our room, made sure we understood how to work the tv remote & put the aircon on nice and warm

The carpark was full when we returned so we had to squeeze a park on the side

The location was spot on so close to the hospital, The owner was so helpful and the room was absolutely the best exceeded my expectations

Good location in Hamilton. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very big and spacious.

Incredible Host

Location, comfort, hospitality

Very friendly, helpful to ensure I had everything I needed for a great stay. This was not my first stay at Argent; it is super consistent, nothing false or fake. It's like staying with family. I can't imagine anyone not being happy with their stay.

There was absolutely nothing to fault with the facility or service.

Beautifully presented property, clean and tidy inside and out.

The host here is as exceptional as the property, this is a highly recommend from me. Proximity to the hospital is fantastic.

Clean and good amenities, good location, car parking

Nothing

Easy to find, great sized rooms, staff were very welcoming. Genuine lovely people to deal with. Wonderfully set up, well equipped kitchen, tv in each room, spacious bathroom, big deep bath, good shower pressure.

If I had to find something, the only thing I would come up with is I didn’t like the brand of tea.

good room clean only minor issue was the lack of choice of pillows

Comfy beds

Hot chocolate

It was on the ground floor. The remote for heating was good( my daughters remote for heating in their room didn't work.

The shower access, both my husband and l are in our 80s having a shower was a bit slippery nonwhere to hold on to in the shower part. Didn't know the bedside lights didn't have a switch easily accessible .l had to keep going under the drawer to turn the plug off.my husband found out the next morning you just need to tap the base.We tried to ring reception but there didn't appear to connect.

Conveniently located to Waikato Hospital. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Very nice rooms. Staff was very helpful. Really liked this location and lodge. Would definitely book again

Graeme was amazing to deal with. The bedroom was nice and spacious and it had everything that you needed in Motel room. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
