The rooms were great value for money, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. The rooms are old but clean and cosy. The beds were super comfortable. We stayed in the two bedroom room and it was very spacious and had everything we needed. Good for families or groups travelling together. Check in and out was super easy, and the staff were friendly.

The train track was very close to our room so if you are a light sleeper you may get woken up during the night. There was only two trains during the night so it did not bother us too much. We were also in a back room. If you stayed closer the the entrance I doubt this would bother you.

The owners were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming! We would definitely stay again. Thank you

The noise from the trains - not often, but through the night. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine, as other than that it's a fab place to stay 😁

The only problem was that we didn't know the room was right next to an active railway track; trains shook the room at 3 a.m., making it unpleasant for sleeping—even earplugs didn't help.

The staff is amazing and welcoming & location is great.

There was no hot water in our room, (room 10) and the TV also didn’t work. There was no signal in the top room and we couldn’t connect to the TV to play any movies or watch anything at all. The bed was also super uncomfortable and made squeaky noises and you could feel the springs. What was meant to be an overnight stay turned into a 4hr stay as we decided to check out as it was not great. We have previously stayed here before in a lower room and it was amazing!!

The new owners are super helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The beds are comfy, spa bath is worth using and the kitchenette does the trick.

Motel is on the main road so it's easy to find. The room was well-appointed, clean & tidy. Comms with the owners was easy. The fact that it is on the main road means that there's traffic noise, loud trucks etc. Other than that, a great stay at a reasonable cost point.

The rooms were really big, clean and comfortable. Off the road so no road traffic but backed o to the rail track so some train noise but not enough to worry about. Really good stay and Louise again next time we stay in Levin.

during the booking it says free breakfast. This got me confused. and when i ask staff they just say that they don’t have one 😅. it’s only continental breakfast. but all and all good facilities we will comeback again.

The room was freezing on arrival and I thought the heater could have been put on earlier as they knew I was coming. It is a very busy road at night with trucks and cars and I didn't know there was an active rail line so close by so that was disturbing during the night- not the motels fault of course. The bathroom fan was ineffective

Great comfy bed and pillows. Staff were great, accommodating, and communicated quickly when we advised we would arrive outside office hours The spa bath was nice. Was nice to have 2 tvs available, 1 in the living room and in the bedroom

Trains go past and seem close but this would affect alot of accommodation along this main road.

Clean and tidy units with ventilation via windows and door. Extraction fan in bathroom toilet, comfy beds. Utensils, jug, microwave, milk in fridge, variety of tea and coffee sachets. On site parking available.

The train. So so loud and on a Friday night runs multiple times a night. Beds a bit hard. Couches too. No oven.

There were no wine glasses provided and only 1 drinking glass. There was no knives or forks provided initially and only 1 dinner plate. Also, the string on the shaded internal blind was broken and the joiner only allowed the blind to drop no lower than about 200mm above the window ledge forcing us to close the blockout blind due to the hot sun streaming in and was never remedied. The web site advertised breakfast for $20 but when asked, I was told that they did not offer that any more, so was forced to go into town for breakfast initially and then bought breakfast cereal. One club chair was open on the rh seat base allowing articles to fall to the bottom of the seat.

The TV needs instructions on how to use fir those who aren't tech savvy.

Extremely disappointing stay, especially given the price paid. The in-room cooking facilities were not functional, the hobs could not even boil water. Only two towels were provided for three guests, which meant we had to share after returning late in the evening. Despite leaving a note, the room was not serviced the following day. Noise was also a significant issue, with constant foot traffic on the stairs, a very loud train nearby, and the bed being located in the lounge made it difficult to get any rest. Overall, this was very poor value for money and did not meet basic expectations.

We stayed in unit 6 and the train line was just beyond the bedroom and several trains go through the night waking you up. The addition of double glazing even just in the bedroom would help reduce the train noise I think.

Check in was good, room was clean, shower was nice and altogether comfortable.

It was very noisy with trials and trucks passing through the night but expected as on the main road and railway. Not having enough milk was annoying, only a few thumb sized pods. At 8 pm I went to the reception which was already closed to ask for more as travelling I didn't want to buy a bottle of milk. The "reception lady" saw me on camera and came to a window behind reception to ask what I wanted. I asked for a few more "pods" of milk and she was quite rude and told me No as it is passed reception hours and she is a dressing gown. She could have passed me a few through the window. This is enough to make me not want to go back there unless accommodation is in short supply.
