Really good!
The view.
It was tiny, it was so loud and not air tight whistling and banging on the building all night. No person to speak to.
Beautiful place . A lot of nature
Toilet and the bathroom
Kitchen. Utilities like plate bowls spoon and fork is missing
The Camp has a huge compound, ideal if you’re traveling with a Pet. The location is closed by Wanaka and not too far from Queenstown so pretty convenient. The place is quiet and has the basic facilities you need
Ease
Cost for simple accommodation
The view is so worth the drive!
The bed
Nice environment, landscape is fantastic
Heater is not the best but works
廚具很多 位置很好 價錢合理
沒有抽油煙機 浴室排水溝堵塞 洗澡水壓不夠
Nice lake side location. Comfy and clean beds.
Very basic for the price, the shower was a mere trickle of hot water. Needs a curtain on the window in the door. Cabin 1 gets morning sun which makes for an early wake up
there as more than enough .
helpful staff to rearrange to the correct accommodation for the family,
Buildings and playground were a bit tired but cabin facilities were good
Warm convenient to town and boat ramp🤓
Great cottage, warm and cosy had everything we needed, lake Hawea is stunning, highly recommend a fire by the lake in tgd fire pit!
The location was great. The shared cabin we booked suited our purpose for the family of 5. Great to have an easy process for late check in.
My husband suggested to write the key locked box PIN on the outside of the map instead. Thanks.
Location was good.
Everything in facilities - bathrooms, kitchen, everything! - needs an upgrade badly. The bunk beds without a ladder is an absolutely danger. But for the low price, we understand.
The mattresses on the single bunks were foam, so not comfy for the kids. Not enough hooks or shelves in the cabin for hanging coats etc.
Very nice lake view, very quiet.
Beautiful place to stay. We will be back
Place is spacious, Staff are great and supportive. Close access to lake and felt close to nature. Priced reasonably and rooms were kept warm by the time we reached. Happy to stay when we are in Wanaka
Close to the lake and boat ramp
Great Location . Our room was literaly at the edge of the lake . Great view from the room.
Nothing really wrong with the room. But The wind was so strong kept us up half the night. We were worried the wind will blow away the cabin it was so strong.
Beautiful views every morning. Such a good spot to relax

Amazing! Exactly what it looks like, glamping, great amenities, the lake is fantastic and theres a sauna you can book into as well as a food truck!
great spot to camp facilities had many more options then expected
all great
Beautiful campground!!! Excellent, clean facilities
Great location, friendly staff, clean and heater in the cabin was very welcome!
toilet/shower block was very basic and in need of renovation.
Well set out between caravans and tents easy tracks to follow and clean.
Having to leave, it was a very peaceful are and most the people were respectful which made the experience a lot nicer
beautiful location, great site, good sized chalet, loved the wanaka monopoly set!!
we were missing towels for the kids, kitchen old
Location
Comfortable unit and great location
Nothing to report
We stayed in one of the cabins. They are a basic room with 1 x bunk bed, 1 x double bed and 1 x single bed. There is a small table with three stools to sit on. Odd that 5 x beds and 3 x stools! There was a small fridge, an oil finned type electric heater as well as an electric kettle. There is only one power point in the room. There was a supplied multi plug power box. We found that there was an outside tap at the end of our block of cabins for water for coffee /hot drinks etc. There was to very comfortable Cape Cod style chairs outside each unit. If you want a good shower go to the portacom shower block. It has mains water pressure. The main shower block is gravity fed and the water only sort of trickles out. Not what we wanted after a hard day at work and just wanted a hot shower. Kitchen facilities were fine with plenty of cooking/preparation space. There is also plenty of eating space with a long dining table in the kitchen. We were in the area working so was using the place a base for lunch/dinner and somewhere to sleep. I would have no problem staying here again and probably will when next working in Hawea.
Chairs with backs to sit on in the cabins. Very hard to get comfortable sitting on a low stool
Quiet
Only one power point we managed.
The place is right beside the lake
Facilities need urgent maintenance, poor wiring protection and unsafe… staff did nothing about it and our food spoiled in the fridge which was not working
Beautiful location and the heated blanket was such a savour for us!
The nearest toilet was a portaloo which was OK but it wasn’t properly working which meant a bit of a walk.
VERY NICE LOCATION
Stayed in the safari tent. Fabulous location, well equipped for a family. Given wood for the firepit which was appreciated on a cold evening & kids enjoyed toasting mashmellows.
Great, helpful staff. Beautiful location.
Comfortable bed. Cosy and warm . Lovely view from outside cabin
Smoke alarm went off at 3am . No fault of hosts just gave us a terrible fright. Loud music playing till late.
I just stayed one night. The Denver tent was really lovely, with a really nice view, we stayed in denver tent 1. The Toilet and shower facilities were average for a camp. Everything was as expected and a nice night. Although the food truck was closed as they closed it a couple days before our stay which is unfortunate due to off season, but it all worked out and was alright. I would reccomend if your looking for some glamping in a beautiful area!
The glamping option was a novel idea. The tent was tidy, comfy and well equipped as was the shared kitchen mess.
Comfort, kitchen well equipped, fridge working perfectly, comfy and warm beds. Very nice view of the sky at night :)
Location of camp. Bed was comfortable and spacious
Proximity of glamping tent to the other similar tents. It was very easy to hear fellow campers especially at night which made sleeping very difficult. The kitchen dining space did not have an electric jug instead a small 2 burner hotplate which took a long time to boil the jug. Also sink for washing dishes was outside so when it rained we were as wet as the dishes.
Love the vibes. Definitely the place to stay for an extended period
Lovely trees and lake.
No instructions for the heaters.
Very relaxing & great facilities
Toilets need an upgrade and the kitchens by the tents need a microwave
We would come again
The location was beautiful but the comfort of the stay could be improved with some outdoor lights so you can see what your'e eating for dinner and also a light to be able to see the toilet at night.
On a sunny day I am sure everything would’ve looked much better! Thank goodness for a very comfortable bed and an electric blanket!
Bell tents are definitely not as large as the photographs and the description does not mention a zillion camper vans, tents and caravans covering every spare space.
We did not receive a friendly welcome. The woman was on her phone for a good minute before attending to us. She also didn’t explain anything, wasn’t helpful at all and didn’t even smile. We felt like we weren’t welcome. Kitchen was not well equipped, out of the three days we stayed one of the days there were no towels or soap to clean the dishes with. Not okay considering the facilities were “cleaned” every day.
2 bedroom cabin was charming and very comfortable
15 min drive from Wānaka, good base for activities around this area. Cabin is cozy enough with heating available. Could do with more power sockets in the room (the extension provided didn’t work). Short outdoor walk between cabin and bathroom. Bathroom can be a bit busy and chilly. Colourful chairs outside cabin are nice to have a slow day to relax.
Location
All good.
Awesome spot for the Denver glamping tents. Really good mess tent with all the equipment, nice big table and seats. Portaloo nearby. Tent itself was great. Beautiful comfy bed, very romantic .
A family with small children were very noisy until the wee hours. Advise perhaps a 10pm cutoff for quiet. Portaloo could have been closer, or maybe have another.
Beautiful location
Kitchen facilities poor....fridge in our room froze all our goods
Comfortable and view was amazing
Some cutleries and utensils would have been nice
Clean and comfortable.
