Viewing and location was great.

Amazing beach view from the room, walking distance to cafe and shops, room was very tidy and clean. The staff were amazing to deal with.

Magnifique vue de la plage et du levé de soleil. Placé au plus proche de la mer. Logement parfait avec cuisine équipée Nous avons pu faire une excursion en bateau de 2h pour visité les caves et les plages jusqu'à Hot Water Beach depuis Whitianga. Parc pour enfants à 5min à pieds

We were earlier than we expected and very grateful to check in early. Very pleasant apartment with nice sea views and immaculately clean, quality linen and very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend. Great location close to town centre and a short stroll to The Lost Springs.

Shower had very limited hot water which was ok but lucky we noticed the sign at top of shower door

The room has a large window with a view of the harbour entrance and beach. An enclosed balcony is also on offer to enjoy the view. Within easy walking distance of the town centre with plenty of dining options and a stones throw away from the Lost Spring. Room was fully equipped for self-catering too.

Manouvering out of the back parking area can be a little tricky when all car parks are occupied.

Location was fantastic! Close to shops and restaurants and overlooking the beach, couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Room was large and very tidy, and staff were extremely helpful when checking in with suggestions with things to do and places to go.

The waterfront apartments Whitianga is the best accommodation in the area. We have stayed here multiple times and we love it every time. It is just a quick 5 minute walk to the lost springs. The sea is straight infront of the apartments and you get amazing sunrise views from the apartments. The staff are lovely. I would highly recommend staying here. The apartments are tidy, the beds are comfortable. The kitchen facilities are great. Everything is clean and tidy.

We had such a lovely stay! Place was very clean & my gosh was that water pressure in the shower divine! View was stunning & enjoyed a nice morning walk as it was right on the water. Host was lovely & very warming

Only bugbear were the sheets were almost plastic like but was such a minor thing!

The hosts were great and very friendly. The apartment was warm when we arrived on a cold day beacuse the heating was on and ready for our arrival and the heated towel rail also which was a nice change from other places we have experienced in the past. Also ice in the freezer which was also a nice simple little touch that we often don't experience. All round a great place to stay.

Really well appointed and decorated. Great bathroom. Fabulous views. (We had the penthouse) Very comfortable and loved all the little extra touches. Warm on a cold, wet day. Very convenient to town and restaurants. Loved our short stay, hope to be back.

We booked last minute and were not disappointed! Waterfront Apartments is an excellent place to stay! highly recommend. From the from of house intro and welcome by Chris, to the advice on where to find our booked restaurant & what time ti catch the sunrise we could not have been happier! Don’t bother going elsewhere - book it in asap!!! 👍

It was very modern with fresh decor. It had large, open space with a great view of the beach.

Warm welcome and stay. Very clean apartment and awesome ocean view.

The only small problem was the difficulty having easy access to a power wall outlet for phone charging and boiling the kettle.

We had the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Absolutely stunning view of the water. Very clean apartment, we had all the amenities we required. Walking distance to restaurants. The big plus is that the beach is right across the road.

Great location with an excellent view. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room offered great value for money at a very reasonable price. When we arrived, the lights were already on and the room was set to a comfortable temperature, which made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we walked in. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Great location, easy walking to the lost spring and town, lovely views with the beach across the road, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and modern, great bathroom with good shower pressure and a very impressive bath. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

The apartment was open, spacey, convenient location, GREAT view. All was nice, clean and modern. Will definitely stay again! I could open windows for dome fresh air!

Maybe I'd add sheer curtains for more privacy during the day? But then I am sacrificing the fantastic view!

The location is awesome! Looking right onto the beach. Even though the weather was rubbish the following was beautiful

Only thing was a lingering smell of something that had been cooked in there maybe stuck the the furnishings, but it was warm clean and a comfy bed I would go back.

Much modern than pictures suggest, extremely clean was able to accommodate our late check in. Parking was easily accessible even for larger cars we had Nice outdoor area which was private and not shared over all great

ALLES! Modern, sauber, ruhig (es ist Nachsaison) und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Platz. Es fehlte an Nichts! Die Veranda ist gemütlich, der Blick aufs Meer ist toll (Sonnenaufgänge). Das Team - Betreiber + Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Unsere schönste Unterkunft (sind 2 Monate unterwegs)!

Space, space, space. So peaceful too.

The location was wonderful, and we could easily walk to everything. The room was great, with everything we needed, and with big windows overlooking the beach. There was also a glassed in sunroom/balcony to enjoy. The parking was much appreciated, as was the advice on local activities. Our room was on the first floor, up one flight of stairs. I tried the beach across the road, but the current was too strong for me - maybe go for the hot springs.

DIe Lage zum Strand und die Grösse des Zimmers. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns von der Inhaberin viele Tipps gegeben.

Das es keinen Balkon hatte der offen war, sondern dieser verglast war.

A nicely decorated apartment with a stunning view on the bay, located in walking distance to the wharf and the city centre. Everything was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We spent 5 rainy and stormy days here and would definitely come again!

The air conditioning is poorly located directly above the bed.

Amazing views and great location. The space was just perfect for us - we enjoyed wine while looking at the ocean from the warmth of the conservatory room.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great waterfront location and full lake views right from the room. It’s also close to restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance. Chris was an amazing host—he even helped us with our laundry and let us use the washer and dryer for free, which we really appreciated.

Opposite beach but water a bit churned up to swim, minor issue, plenty of other places very close to swim.

Very warm welcome at reception. Location was great, just cross the road and you’re on the beach. Spacious apartment and clean on arrival. Would stay again.

Wie schon gesagt: Einfach alles. Die Lage, die Wohnung, das Personal. Es hat alles bestens gepasst. Währen gerne noch geblieben, leider mussten wir weiter.

Clean & Convenient Great recommendations for sight seeing

Spacious, great location, waterfront and close to shops/restaurants, with a very comfortable bed.

For an apartment, despite the dishwasher, there was minimal/ basic kitchen utensils, no coffee machine/plunger. Toiletries supplied were barely adequate. The bathroom did not have an extractor fan and opening a window was not an option for privacy reasons, the shower leaked water out on the bathroom floor which was a slip hazard, the grab rail by the toilet had been installed incorrectly and was ineffective. Overall the apartment showed its age.

Exceeded our expectations, would stay again

Bed was very comfortable. View from lounge was lovely. Good location.

Most expensive accommodation we have stayed in over the last few months and was not value for money. Only 1 small towel each for the shower. Only 1 shampoo/conditioner/shower gel per couple. No fan in bathroom. Handle on bathroom door was for pull door, so kept forgetting it was a slide door. Lipstick left on mug in cupboard. Weird balcony room that had the airconditioning unit in it, and the joinery went straight across your vision so you couldn't actually see the view unless you slumped right down in the chairs, or stood up.
