The Sky TV, and family room fitted well.

Room had a musky smell inside, Dishes were still wet in the cupboard, pots n pans were burnt inside. Bottom corner of the walls in kitchen need to be cleaned better.

Close to playgrounds. Good layout with curtain to separate single beds. Good space, easily accommodated 2.adults, 2 kids for the night.

Room stunk like old stale cigarettes despite the non smoking signs on the outside of the building. Front door didn't open without a kick to the bottom but close properly unless kicking the bottom of the door from the inside. Door was quite stuck. Shower could be upgraded. Dishes were marked/dirty in the cupboard.

Things not working- toilet light, bedside light. Bathroom taps not secure. Body wash pump not really working. Fan control missing. No extra blankets.

The location was great for our purposes. The room is well layed out and the beds are comfortable. Milk was offered for tea/coffee which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately the Spa pool was not working which was a big draw for us to book this accommodation with kids after a long day of bike riding. We would have appreciated to get informed at time of booking that the spa was not available. When addressed to the staff, no small discount was offered. Some lights aren't working or flickering, fittings are loose. Empty tissue box in bathroom. Ceiling covered in dead flies and desperately needs a clean.

I didn't enjoy being next to the motel laundry and the subsequent noise from the dryer. Nice to have a hair dryer but tricky to see in either mirror - power points a little too far away Door to unit very stiff to to open

Located in a Great area, staff was friendly and helpful, and the stay was just what was needed. Highly recommend the Palm Motel for anyone looking for a place to stay with great value :)

There wasn't anything that I could fault with my stay being there. The place was great and good value for money paid. I did enjoy my stay there.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room.

Only downside was that the spa was not operational during the summer.

Location. Some effort had been made to upgrade interior.

Exterior was dilapidated, broken pickets, broken trellis, peeling paintwork, very unloved. Advertised spa pool wasn’t available Bathroom and toilet very dated, lid of toilet cistern didn’t fit. Toilet brush disgusting, plumbing very noisy. Weird long net curtains in the kitchen draped down onto the bench and kettle. Curtain fittings falling off rods, nets had some holes.

Nothing the whole place was a real let date. Grotty and dated room, stained chairs, carpets rotting wood. Gaint cob webs no Mike for coffee. The place needs to an upgrade if it wants to charge those prices wouldn’t recommend

Nothing. I have photos of rust in shower. Milk was made from powder. Cracks in doors 2 satchels of coffee poor quality. I would really like a refund. There was sn opening in the blind which faced on to a mirror. I felt creepy. A refund would be nice.

The customer service on arrival was so good, She made sure the booking was mine cause it had a default name on the booking hahahahaha but she found it. It was close to a funeral we were attending in Paeroa. And I thought it was value for money.

I didnt get a chance to hop into the pool. But definitely next time I will.

NO.SPA USE-Paid full price for it but wasn't told prior to booking tor when booked or when checking in that the Spa is not available now even though advertised online&in room brochure, no signs outside saying no use. Went to book time&the elder Son was fine with it then owner lady came in&said No as it's too hot. Been there every January with kids for 10,years&never been an issue before. Would not of booked if had known this prior as it's part of the price! My kids were very disappointed especially my Son as that was always our chill time together in the evening. CEILING FAN-Went to turn it on but couldn't find remote. Went to office&older Son helping wasn't sure so he looked in cleaners station then said he will try find a spare, asked his Mum&was told NO the fan doesn't work so use the plug in fan in closet BATHROOM Taps-Not set in place so go to turn it on&the whole base of tap moves. TOILET-Too noisy to flush late in evening or overnight, very loud squealy sound. SHOWER-Wash stuff, you can't even get out the fixed pump containers, so minimal&time wastage. POOL-Doesnt open until 10,am. No last swim for kids on checkout morning.

Well ..we had somewhere to stay

The property is run down and seriously needs updating.. the shower and bathroom was far too small and the floor in the shower was spongy and felt like it was about to give way...we will not be staying there again

Didn't have supplied breakfast. Made our own. Had the basic requirements there like toaster etc but just a small area to work with. Clean and tidy.

For a quick overnight stay the premise is all that we required.

The shower bottom was dirty. Dust in the bathroom and toilet. The room was musty and smell really bad on entry as well as the fridge smelled like something died in it. We had to air the room out and get a air freshener from the supermarket to cover the smell. Carpet was very sticky to walk on it needs a good Carpet clean was very disappointing for the price for 4 nights plus no A/C just a ceiling fan. Will definitely not be back after was very disappointed. Also only received fresh towls on the last day of staying. Had towls on arrival but very very disappointed. Spent 2 nights somewhere else because of the conditions kids where very disappointed as well definitely wont recommend

Only stayed 1 night and accomodation was perfectly adequate. For very little cost however unit could have a face lift and leave a much better impression Used the motel because it was convenient

Dirty,hot plates rusty with rust flakes all over the hot plates. Bathroom towel rail falling off the wall. Rotten wood where you step into the shower. Smelt musty.

This place did not feel like a motel it's a dump!!! Bad mouldy in bathroom toilet seat I had to clean. The tap in sink in bathroom was wobbly. Also if you wanted to make a cuppa you had to fill jug in bathroom.towels in bathroom where thin . Shower head dirty . Carpets dirty chairs in room dirty .
