Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The staff and owners very friendly. Lots of local shops. Rooms are a great size. Showers are fantastic.
We traveled for school sports, and a rec room would have been perfect for the girls to meet in etc instead of running a round in the car yard. ( so sorry for that)

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Excellent central local between the university and conference centre. Very clean and neat, roomy, had a well-equipped kitchenette (that I didn't need, but nice to know next time) including cooktop and toaster. Breakfast was not included in my booking (I had a very early start). They gave me complimentary orange juice, which suited me as I don't drink tea or coffee. Nice sized bathroom with plenty of towels, small sachets of shampoo and conditioner and the option of using container soap or individual soaps provided. The main room included a writing desk as well as two-person table and chairs, and a very comfortable bed with soft sheets. Having the room heated on arrival was great as it was a cold and wet winter's day.
I struggled to find anything I didn't like for my needs.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Out of the bustle of the city but very easy to get to with the motorway. The one-bedroom disability unit was a very good size and the bed very comfortable. Great to have proper lounge sofas in a good size space.
It would be better to have the shampoo and soap bottles hung in the shower area.
