Everything was clean.and room was vwarm and be are comfortable. Our room had almost everything we needed. The views are amazing and location is excellent for walking and water activities too.

Strangely no pepper and salt shakers. Not a thing that is easy to remember to bring with you on holiday to a relatively remote location.

Spa pool was dirty

Very clean and tidy. The room had a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and fridge. There were also extra blankets, a oil heater and heat pump. Stunning views of the ocean from our room. Great location.

The shower had very low water pressure. Water trickled out of the shower.

I only used the unit, and non of the facilities. But was very happy with everything in the unit. Very tidy and clean.

I understand that water supply is off a bore, but the low water pressure made the shower a little bit less than ideal. I'm not sure if anything can be done though.

4 person hot tub in common area a bit small for this size a resort but there is a private hot tub available for booking; queen bed was a bit soft for me

Tv didn’t work to start with bread boards were dirty with something sticky on them electric blankets in main room couldn’t be used due to where plugs were single room lamp shade was dodgy had to turn off electric blankets in single room had to be changed over to reach power plugs one single bed had under sheet but no top sheet over all felt theses things wouldn’t have happened if things had been checked before people go in however staff were lovely

The mattress was firm but that’s a matter of taste. The units are getting tired and could do with some minor renovations.

The apartment offered stunning views from both the lounge and the bedroom. It was well set up for a short stay while visiting family over the Easter break. The additional facilities, including the pool and spa and games room, were clean and a great bonus. Reception and the small on-site shop were also very convenient for picking up essentials. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, and featured a spacious living area.

It could have had a few more items in the kitchen like a salad bowl and a few more cooking utensils and crockery. The furniture downstairs was a little sparse perhaps an additional easy chair and a bigger table or coffee table. Also the TV was not a smart TV.

Great location with stunning views, a short drive to Tutukaka. The resort is immaculately maintained with a great pool and facilities. Our unit was very clean.

The ocean view villa we stayed in has an upstairs bedroom with all other living downstairs. This means luggage needs to be carried upstairs and the only bathroom is also downstairs, however the upstairs balcony does have a fabulous view.

View is unbelievable and the rooms are just perfect!

We booked one night but it was such a lovely spot I wanted to stay longer. I would love to come back. The views were amazing. We used the pool, spa and the private beach. Seems great for families and even groups.

Light over the stove did not work. Staff called an electrician in to fix it but this was not successful during our stay.

Have stayed here several times now, with various family members. Not only is the location spectacular, the rooms are modern, roomy and spotless, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. One of our party (a world traveler) said "This is by far the best motel I've ever stayed at." And I agree with him!

The view is truly outstanding! The living and dining space is very good. The full kitchen was well supplied to enable cooking. Our host Stacy was terrific. There is a washer and a clothes line for drying outside and a folding one for inside.

The two bedrooms are downstairs with the single bathroom upstairs. The stairs and floor squeak, so moving around when people are trying to sleep is very difficult. I think they warn you in the description but do be prepared if you are walking to town, there is a steep road to/from town.

Fantastic views of the ocean and surrounds. Good cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils. Good (free) wifi. Easy parking. Nice TV and free SKY channels. Excellent Aircon downstairs.

Very dated . no bathroom upstairs. Small bathroom and broken toilet set in our room. Noisy Sea Gulls on our roof. No aircon upstairs (the bedroom) but fans were good.

Magnificent views. Spacious comfortable cabin. Close to beautiful beaches, great walks and good cafes.

Didn't like the look of the swimming pool so did'nt use. Gorgeous beaches close by.

Quiet location on cliff top with amazing view across harbour. Good size free standing apartment/cabin. Good cooking facilities incluxing oven. Pool and 2 spas, one which can be booked as private for up to 4 people.

Weather! Expensive at weekends

View as fab. Close to playground and pool was awesome with temperature controlled meant kids could stay in longer making it enjoyable as takes the edge off it. Also good spa. Room was hot so definitely needed aircon to cool things down slept with door to lounge open. Kitchen had everything we needed

The location was amazing scenery. The surrounding views just fantastic.

The bathroom sliding door rail guide was broken and the door kept moving when the wind from the open window. No privacy when doing your busy!. The bed head was against the window sill, which we didn't like, but that's a personal thing.

The Motel Resort is in a superb location on a clifftop and our apartment had superb views from the lounge window and the bedroom balcony. The resort was quiet and peaceful which we loved. We had access to the private swimming pool and hot tub and barbeque's situated around the site. Also we had access to 2 private beaches only accessible from the Resort (via steps) which was a real bonus.

What a wonderful location and delightful property! Unfortunately we were heavily delayed travelling up past Auckland so arrived very late and had to leave early the next morning to go diving so we couldn't take in all of the delights the property had to offer. 'Next time' we'll book for longer than one night :-)

Loved the outlook available from the top floor balcony. The room facilities were nice but I would have liked more variety of hot drink choices.

The shower hadn't been cleaned properly from the previous guests. There was hair and hair tie left in the shower box general grubby soap residue around the soap, shampoo dispensers.

an amazing view, great facilities, the best location. a playground, pool and hot spa are also good to keep my toddler busy. we will definitely come back.

Just minor thing, knifes in #1 are all too blunt. hard to cut any.

Wow, this place is incredible, location, views, facilities, staff, gardens - exceptional. We fell in love with the views and scenery. Attention to detail throughout the resort was fabulous - well done to the team and management - somewhere that is just doing it extremely well

Beautiful views no matter where you are, the pool and hot tubs were great, bbq spots, playground, and friendly and helpful staff. We had a fabulous time and cannot recommend enough.

I love the view and peaceful feeling of this resort. Highly recommend
