We wish we were able to stay longer at this beautiful resort. From the time we walked in to the time we left we really felt welcomed. Sharon who was at the front desk welcomed us and showed us places to see and restaurants. She really made it a great start

Staff were super amazing!! We double booked without knowing and they kindly cancelled our booking so we wouldn’t get charged twice. They also accommodated my elderly mother.

How dark it was walking to my room…the lighting was poor

The location was perfect for our stay. The staff friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was very nicely appointed, and wonderfully warm when we arrived as the staff had turned on the heating prior to our arrival.

I loved the location, how spacious the apartments were, the cleanliness of it and the spa bath. It has its own kitchen and washer/dryer which was a nice surprise. It was well worth the money spent and exceeded all our expectations. One of us tried the jacuzzi and loved it. It was quiet which was nice.

The car park was tight however as we had booked two apartments we had two car parks for our one car. That was really helpful as we had a big car.

Sharon and Andrew were incredibly helpful as I was unable to arrive for check in before their reception closed and I wanted to park near to / next to the assigned room. They solved the problems with a room upgrade that had a parking space perfectly located right outside the door of the unit and they made a convenient arrangement for the room key. Once in the room and settled, I enjoyed the first class facilities including a relaxing spa bath

I loved everything, the location being close to cafes, restaurants and shops. The apartment was spacious,,clean and had all the amenities one needs (dishwasher, dryer, washing machine) even washing soap. Sheila was lovely so helpful answered all our questions and welcomed us warmly. I will definitely be back with my family.

Overpriced at NZ $455 a night , apartment could do with a revamp. But clean enough.

The shower flowed out of the bathroom into the hallway. We had to use towels to prevent flooding. The pillows on the bed were very hard.

Staff nice. Good situation. Nice looking out at bowlers. Clean. Nice to have sky sport after a week of no accommodation having it. Wished I’d bought swimming togs for pool. Looked lovely.

Feel decor a little drab. But didn’t matter for our purposes. Was our last stay for the week away and was over stairs. Had climbed 250 stairs to lighthouse and everywhere we went after that had stairs.

The fact we had a whole house with everything thinkable we might need, right near the beach, snd tiny crnter of Raumati, proprietor extremely friendly and helpful..comfortable bed!

Shower excellent pressure & water heat but flooded bathroom floor thru door which was not sealed we certainly needed all the extra towels to mop up after each use. Bathroom Towels were tired & faded was glad I took my own face cloth. A dish cloth would have been helpful used a tea towel Out door spaces & chairs very tired Table & chairs could do with a re stain /paint worn faded covers and pot plants full of dead plants & weeds for the price of the room we expected better

Location is excellent right across from the beach and a large playground that has a miniature railway on Sundays. With a pool and spa it’s great for families. Apartments quite spacious and well kitted out with everything you need.

We had a lovely spacious unit, with a sunny balcony. Raumati Sands Resort is in a great location. We enjoyed our walk to Paraparaumu along the beach. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Close to amenities, walking distance to everything we needed. Great for family with full kitchen and space to spread out.

The parking was really tight for big cars but staff were upfront and honest from the start and really helpful. There is plenty of parking directly across the road so not really a problem.

Toch erg verouderd. Op de foto zag het er een mooi groot zwembad uit, maar was in werkelijkheid niet zo aanlokkelijk. Jammer want we hadden speciaal gekozen voor dit verblijf doordat er een zwembad was, maar als het dan niet overeenkomt met de foto, dat is vrij misleidend.

Great location to the beach, park, and shops. The apartments are all self contained with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The kids loved the pool and spa. We will definitely stay again.

The parking is tight, so trying to get around other guests large vehicles can be difficult at times. So if possible don't bring the ute.

Shops, park, beach alongside the facilities much the sands the perfect holiday spot, we will definitely be going back

The location was excellent. Staff were super helpful. The apartment had good facilities and was relatively comfortable.

Some of the car parks aren't suitable for larger vehicles and very difficult to get in and out of. However, there are plenty of street parking spaces available.

Dommage qu'il n'y pas de vue depuis notre logement. Dommage que les jardiniers soient venus nettoyés notre terrasse à 8h le matin alors que nous n'étions pas encore réveillés.

I stayed at Raumati Sands Resort with my sister, as we had a family gathering, (funeral), to attend. I asked for 2 single beds instead of a big bed. When we arrived, we were surprised to have a 2 bedroom unit/apartment. We weren't expecting that. We had a bit of a hiccup during our stay, and the staff were so kind and helped with reassurance. Everything was in the room that we needed during our stay. The room was very comfortable. Loved the shower. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when I'm down this way. Thank you!

The only thing I can think of was the smoke alarm going off, as it is right outside the bathroom door. This was due to my sister having a hot shower and leaving the door open when she finished, before the fan got rid of the steam properly.

We were really only there to sleep as had family commitments, however the beds were very comfortable and the lounge area well appointed.

We loved this place, we arrived to be told we had been upgraded, the facilities were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped,I heard others say they weren't expecting to go upstairs to the bedrooms but I loved this. There are shops (liquor and dairy) within easy walking distance as well as a number of places to eat. We enjoyed the spa and swimming pool, and could look over the road and see the ocean.

There were only 2 things we didn't think were up to the very high standard of everything else, we were in number 9 and our car park was all the way around the other side. And the other was how the water in the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

So much space in the unit.. everything we needed..
