Reviewed Jul 14, 2026I loved the tidiness of the room. The room was all warm and cozy when I arrived. But to be honest, there wasn’t much point in turning on the heat pumps. It only takes about 5mins to fully heat the room up. I appreciate the hospitality and the service provided and a huge shoutout to the host for making my day ten times better.

A little dated in furnishings, but doesn’t matter was super clean. Traffic noise but once closed doors couldn’t really hear it.

The staff member who checked me in, Shalene, was excellent and helped me with my bag due to a back injury. She was very kind. Very nice, convenient hotel in Ashburton.
The hotel is right on SH 1, which makes it convenient and easy to find, but the road is very noisy and the hotel rooms do not appear to have noise- canceling windows. But it is a good value.

Due to a family members illness we needed to extend 3 times, staying for 1 months in total. Tarissa moved things around to accommodate us staying on. All the staff are extremely friendly, contactable, rooms are clean & location is great. :-)

Reviewed Jul 6, 2025Room was clean and warmed up nicely with the heat pump, which had a ultra quiet setting so could be left on overnight.
The shower was freezing cold - it took a long time to warm slightly and when I got in went cold again. It was very cold weather at the time and the bathroom was very cold as well so it made for an unpleasant stay from that perspective. My colleague had no issues so possible just the room I was in.
