Great location; large clean room with fabulous views over the sea. Hotel owner/scads were very friendly and hospitable.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Agua Roumeli Hotel! Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand mit türkisenem Wasser. Strandliegen sind inkludiert und das Personal ist wirklich sehr entspannt und freundlich. Rundherum gibt es lauter Tavernen, Cafés und Bars und der Ort ist sehr verschlafen und ruhig. Ein bisschen als wäre man an einem wunderschönen Ende der Welt gelandet. Wir haben das Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht, um nach der Wanderung durch die Samaria- Schlucht einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Wir wünschten, wir hätten zwei oder drei Nächte dort gebucht!

Uns hat alles super gefallen! Aber das Bad ist nicht ganz neu, das hat uns aber nicht gestört!

Soggiorno gradevolissimo, i proprietari super gentili, camera grande e pulita, bellissimo balcone, fiori profumati intorno alla struttura..deliziosi. Ottima colazione sul mare e sevizio spiaggia perfetto. Consiglio vivamente.

La doccia aveva un problema di miscelazione acqua calda e fredda.Non credo sarà un problema risolverlo.

Traumhafte Strand. Hotel liegt nur ein paar Schritte von Strand. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Frau wurde krank und Anna / eine gute Seele/ Hotelmitarbeiterin hat Medikamente und Arzt organisiert. Ah ja, Hotel liegt in einem kleinen Dorf was man nur mit Fähre erreichen kann und es gibt keine Apotheke dort. Frühstück ist eine Märchen. Ist auch die Kunstwerke von Anna, jeden Tag ein Überraschung. Immer was neues und sehr, sehr lecker. Es ist zwei Sterne Hotel in Griechenland, man muss kein Wunder erwarten. Die Bilder sind echt. Aber super ruhige Lage mit wunderschönen Strand übertrifft alles. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Hotel kann man nur mit eine Fähre erreichen. Keine Autostrassen. Klimaanlage bläst direkt aufs Beet. Durch unterirdische Quellen und Bergflüsse Meereswasser kann stellenweise ziemlich frisch sein 😬.

Nettes Personal, reichhaltiges interessantes Frühstück, perfekte Lage, sauber, gut ausgestattet.

Das Hotel war perfekt! Eigentlich wollten wir hier nach unserer Wanderung durch die Samaria-Schlucht übernachten. Leider war die Schlucht aufgrund der extremen Hitze gesperrt. Das Hotel hat uns jedoch rechtzeitig informiert und uns sogar angeboten, eine Nacht später anzureisen, ein wirklich toller Service. Wir sind schließlich mit der Fähre von Sfakia angereist. Nach der letzten Fähre gehört das kleine Dorf fast einem allein, was eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre schafft. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Die Liegen am Strand konnten wir nach dem Check-out für nur 12 € (zwei Liegen inklusive Sonnenschirm) weiter nutzen. Das Frühstück direkt am Meer war hervorragend und wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Siamo arrivati in questo alberghetto a conduzione familiare dopo aver percorso le Gole di Samaria. Posizione stupenda, fronte mare. Camera confortevole, pulita, ampia e dotata di balcone sul mare. Letti ampi, nuovi e comodissimi. Ombrellone con lettini e comodo materassino a disposizione dei clienti (bonus). In spiaggia, cocktail di grande qualità (i migliori assaggiati a Creta). Colazione curatissima, direttamente in spiaggia.

One of the best sea views that I have ever seen anywhere. The suite was also very clean and was equipped with comfort in mind. There was a big roof terrace with sun chairs, a modern AC that was both efficient and quiet, a new TV, two kinds of coffee and tea as well, a very good shower, etc. We also liked the fact that we got beach towels, chairs and even complimentary drinks when we went to have a swim. We would love to come here again and stay longer.

Anna and Pablos were amazing in every way. This beautiful hotel, covered in flowers was spotless and had everything I needed including an amazing breakfast baked and prepared by Anna. Served by Pablos in the beach bar with the hotel beach beds for guests personal use. I would definitely recommend this hotel and Anna's Cretan salad. I could say more but you really need to come and experience it yourself xxxxxxx

The owner was immediately very friendly. The hotel is beautiful and at the end of the village, away from all the gorge hiking route and ferry port, so it was nice and quiet. The sea is crystal clear and calm, ideal for swimming. We could use the beach sun beds and there's a bar nearby to order drinks. The room was clean and a good size, with everything we needed. Exceptional value for money. It was an idyllic stay.

The property was fantastic with spectacular views. We had the top floor apartment which was really luxurious with plenty of space to relax including dressing gowns to relax in! Th ex owners were really friendly, accommodating and were kind enough to serve breakfast early on our last day so that we could start a hike in good time. Oh , and the best breakfast in Crete with everything you might want x

This beachfront beauty sits right on the beach 😎 . The hotel is quaint, but the real magic comes from Ania and Pavlos. The Breakfast: Absolutely scrumptious. Bring a massive appetite. The Mascot: Rumi the dog will stare at you with devastating, soul-crushing puppy eyes. Do not break. He just wants your breakfast to drop. The Vibe: Adults-only paradise. No screaming banshees. Total peace. The Perk: Free beach chairs and convenient paid laundry service. The Magic Potion: Pavkos makes a legendary Café Freddo ☕ with Bailey’s. Sip 1️⃣ and you speak Irish. Sip 2️⃣ and you talk to leprechauns ☘️ . Sip 3️⃣, and you are actively dancing an Irish jig on the beach ⛱️ .

The Only Downside: The bed squeaks. Loudly. Especially during, uh... "baby-making" activities. 😱 The entire hotel will know your schedule.Rooms are spacious and nice. Just pack some WD-40 for the mattress!

The laid back vibe, the owners providing a family feeling, and the location are all absolutely amazing. We even miss their cute dog, rummi. Highly recommended. If possible, it’s worth springing for a sea view room.

Το κατάλυμα έχει εξαιρετική τοποθεσία! Είναι στο τέλος της παραλίας με αποτέλεσμα να έχει μια υπέροχη ηρεμία κ γαλήνη. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό με όλες τις απαραίτητες παροχές. Το στρώμα στο κρεβάτι ήταν τόσο άνετο κ εξαιρετικό με αποτέλεσμα να απολαύσουμε τον ύπνο μας. Αυτό που μας άφησε άφωνους ήταν το πολύ ποιοτικό πρωινό που περιελάμβανε η κράτησή μας. Κάθε μέρα φρεσκοψημένα αυγά σε διάφορες παραλλαγές, πεντανόστιμα αρτοσκευάσματα, φρεσκοστυμμένο χυμό κ κάθε λογής καλούδια. Το προσωπικό ήταν πάντα χαμογελαστό κ διαθέσιμο να μας εξυπηρετήσει ανά πάσα στιγμή. Επίσης, παρέχονται δωρεάν ξαπλώστρες στην παραλία για τους ενοίκους του ξενοδοχείου.

Nach einer langen Wanderung durch die Samaria-Schlucht wollten wir uns im Hotel erholen. Leider war das Wasser im Bad nur kalt. Nach Rückfrage bei der Rezeption hiess es, es sei ein wenig sonniger Tag gewesen und man müsse das Wasser lange (15 Minuten!) laufen lassen. Was für eine Verschwendung. Am nächsten Morgen war das Wasser wieder bzw. immer noch kalt.

Beautiful facilities and location. Would rate it a 5/5 except for: Smell of methane in top floor bathroom; blue white lightbulbs in all fixtures; not clearly mentioning that the ONLY WAY TO GET THERE IS BY BOAT.

Fantastic stay, great for a few days after the Samaria gorge hike. The owners are really friendly, and the restaurant (for breakfast and dinner) is directly at the beach. The hotel also has sunbeds at the beach which can be used for free. I really recommend staying there for maybe two nigths. It is very quiet in the mornings, until the hikers arrive and gets quiet again after 17:00 when they leave. The evenings are beautiful and the food is amazing.

Deilig frokost,Meget pent og smakfullt servert. Beliggenheten av hotellet og av rommet, med utsikten til havet var helt perfekt. Vennlig og velvillig hjelpsomt personale , både eier og annet personale. Dette er et sted man ønsker seg tilbake til. Et godt utgangspunkt for tur innover i Samariakløften.

Alt var som det skulle. Jeg har ingenting å klage på. Det måtte være at det var så sterk vind og store bølger at jeg ikke fikk badet, men det var ikke vertskapets skyld. Hotellet drives svært profesjonelt.

The sea view was amazing. Spring for a view room with balcony, you won’t regret it. The included breakfast was the best I have had.

Hôtel un peu à l’écart, avec une très vue sur la mer et la côte. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, varié d’un jour à l’autre avec une belle présentation. Nous connaissons bien Agia Roumeli et nous avons encore beaucoup apprécié nos 4 jours sur place: randonnées multiples : Agios Pavlos, Samaria, Kastelo etc…

Idyllic setting. Hosts couldn't have done more - both delightful! As was their gorgeous dog! Look forward to returning!

Zimmer sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Immer Liegen mit Schirm zur Verfügung. Ausblick und Wasser sagenhaft.

Es stört mich nicht, wenn nicht jeden Tag das Zimmer gemacht wird nur der Toilettenkübel mit dem Klopapier müsste jeden Tag entleert werden.

Un charmant hôtel dans un cadre formidable, surtout en cette fin de saison! Un accueil très chaleureux et attentif.

C’est loin des hôtels standardisés… mais ne changez rien car cela fais partie du charme de cet hôtel.

We have just returned from a 6-day stay at the Agia Roumeli Hotel. It may be a 2-star hotel, but we had a truly 5-star experience. The room was not luxurius, but was nice and clean, the bed great and the view stunning. On top of that the hostcouple Anna and husbund and staff were all so accommodating, serviceminded and friendly. Breakfast, portionserved, was exellent, lunch the same, both served at their Beach Bar, also with a stunning view. The hotels beach has private sunbeds. Hotelguests only for free. The small town itself, lying where the Samaria Gorge endd, is so quiet and peaceful. Hikers however arrives around 12 a clock and onwards, leaving with the last ferry at 1730 hrs, again leaving the village quiet. A stay at the hotel is a must. Helene & Jan

Το μπάνιο είναι πολύ μικρό . Κατά τα άλλα κανένα πρόβλημα .
