Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Just left RC after 4 night stay. I cannot say enough nice things about the property and the people. The staff are extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. The property itself is phenomenal. A quaint converted residence/abbey from the 13th century on a quiet street within a fantastic neighborhood. Brilliant landscaping frames the structure in a small courtyard off the side street. Five minute walk to the Seine. 15 min walk to the Louvre or Notre Dame. Many quality restaurants and cafes within short walk. Close to activity but just tucked away enough for quiet relaxation. Room decor is gorgeous and bedding quite comfortable. Special mention to the concierge team as well as the food/beverage staff; all were extremely helpful and added greatly to our enjoyment of Paris.
Absolutely gorgeous. I stepped into a different year of luxury and sumptuous surroundings. Everywhere is charming, including our room. Whoever the design team was, I give them a gold star. Everywhere you look just makes you feel good. The service is impeccable. The manager Timothy was fantastic, and all the people ( Georges, Patricia and…)at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. The best service is provided.
architecture: traditional french country rooms: small. we had 2 carry ons and one larger suitcase that left no room to sit or walk around the bed. beautifully appointed, lots of light and clean noise level: quiet service: warm friendly and courteous bar: honor's bar in the living room. well appointed food service: excellent concierge: excellent location: perfect all in all we felt at home there. quiet, serene and luxurious.
This hotel was the perfect choice for our 7 night Mother -Daughter Trip! From the beginning the Hotel Team answered every e-mail quickly and with helpful ideas to make this a perfect experience. This Boutique Hotel is Beautiful and the location was perfect. Our Deluxe Junior Suite was much larger than we expected with much needed space as we are shoppers!! We had the Spa package and it was amazing, would highly recommend booking a treatment here. What makes this a special Hotel is the staff, They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and we can't thank everyone enough for making this a memorable trip!! We will be back and look forward to staying here again! Thank you Relais Christine!
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was very responsive in advance-arranging cars, helping us with tickets, reservations, etc. So kind when we arrived. I had altitude sickness and they rushed to get me coke and nausea medicine and got us to our room right away. The lobby, honor bar, and eating area and decor are gorgeous and comfortable. The spa and massage was also fantastic! Probably the best thing was the beds. The most comfortable mattress, linens and pillows I have ever slept on. So much so that we asked for the brands of all three so we could purchase at home. Also, the neighborhood was perfect. Not touristy, very cute and Parisian while still friendly to Americans. I cannot express how much I loved this hotel and would never stay anywhere else in Paris.
I organized a surprise 50th surprise party for my Wife and the Relais Christine was highly recommended. And they were not wrong. Firstly, I have never experienced such a wonderful team that helped coordinate everything from lunches and dinners to excursions. They really went above and beyond. We stayed in a courtyard suite, which was amazing. Very spacious with its own kitchen. The hotel is stunning and charming, and the location is wonderful. I rarely write reviews, but Relais Christine deserves the recognition. Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Paris, or Europe for that matter. Thank you, and see you next year.
I recently visited Paris and stayed at Relais Christine. It was perfectly located in St Germain and it is on a quieter street so you are protected from the outside noise. Within a block you have a great selection of restaurants, bakeries, stores. It was easy to get to the metro and/or get an uber to explore other areas of the city. The staff were fantastic- they gave me some excellent restaurant recommendations and helped me get reservations. The facilities are beautiful for a smaller boutique hotel. There is a small gym, sauna/jacuzzi area downstairs (with a shower if you need to use it before/after you check-in to your room). There is also a beautiful Guerlain spa which I unfortunately didn't have the time to visit. The hotel breakfast was great-they had a good selection of fruit/breads/pasteries/eggs, etc. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. It had both a shower and a tub which I loved. The rooms were very quiet.
I loved everything about this hotel and I hope to return. My only concern was my room was a little small (which was fine because I was alone); but I plan to opt for a larger room when I return with my partner.
Location fabulous. Loved the intimate feel of the downstairs and the honesty bar . Superior room quite small but lovely aspect. Concierge very friendly and attentive.
I had asked the hotel for a reservation to be made at La Maison Rose on the first night. We went all the way up to Montmartre and the restaurant did not have a record which was a disappointment.
Everything was top notch - staff, cleanliness, look and feel, location. Cannot wait to visit again. Best in Paris, in my opinion.
Unbelievable experience. Concierge was incredibly helpful and available. The food was great. The room was sizable and really welcoming. And best of all, the location was impeccable.
Hotel mit viel Charm
.
Our stay at La Christine was wonderful in every aspect mentioned above, especially the friendly concierge service (Victoria chef concierge) and the entire hotel staff. We already miss them. It was a real treat. It was very professional. We already miss our next vacation with you.
Quaint hotel in a great location. All of the staff were pleasant and engaging. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
The hotel was beautiful, the service impeccable and the location perfect for strolling through the streets of Saint Germaine.
Absolutely lovely place to get a true taste of Paris. Beautiful spaces everywhere, nice little details. Great place for people wanting to be on rive gauche. Looots of remarkable little restaurants around. Stuff is extremely sweet. Strong point worth to mention is the ability to get last moment tickets or table reservations when there is no availability, very convenient. Rooms are very charming but small, in case someone is bothered by it, we were not.
We stayed 3 nights at the Relais Christine and enjoyed every moment of the experience. The hotel we usually stay at is currently closed, however we have always been curious about the Relais Christine as we have walked past looking into the pretty and inviting courtyard which is also the entrance. The communication prior to our stay was excellent and we thank the hotel for restaurant recommendations. On arrival the welcome was light-hearted and warm. We had a quick orientation tour of the hotel before being shown to our room. We stayed in a superior room which had a view of the courtyard. The room was relatively small (as expected) but perfectly formed, spotless and offered all of the comforts we would expect including good storage for our clothes and suitcases. The bed was superbly comfortable and we slept soundly during our stay. Breakfast is served in the lounge and dining area and consists of a wide choice of buffet offerings although you can order eggs to your preference. Coffee is excellent as you would expect. This is a very special hotel and we will definitely return. It is a peaceful sanctuary with a gentle and very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Accommodations and amenities were excellent, toiletries were top notch, and, most importantly, the staff was phenomenal. Relais Christine treats every detail as important and doesn't try to cut costs on them like other luxury hotels. Every staff member we met was very personable and made us feel like we were guests at their own home. This was the first time we've been to a hotel that we actually *wanted* to spend time in despite being in a city with thousands of places to explore. Would absolutely stay here again!
Excellent service, top notch experience! We celebrated a milestone anniversary with a recommendation from a Parisian gentleman we met in California. He made a perfect recommendation for us. Very beautiful hotel in the 6th district, short walk from Notre Dame and Saint Chapel. Even before we arrived, we had great service setting up a couple tours and special touch requests for the room - flowers and macaroons. When we entered the hotel, we felt like we were the most important people in Paris. This continued all three days until we checked out. Everyone knew our names, and the extra service was splendid. The place is decorated very tastefully with a mix of modern and classic elegance. Bed was comfortable and room was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at Relais Christine. The hotel is charming, elegant, and perfectly located on a quiet street in Saint-Germain while still being close to everything in Paris. The staff was incredibly kind and even surprised us with champagne for my birthday, which made the celebration so memorable. Such a thoughtful touch. The Conceirge staff went above and beyond.
My wife and I spent two nights at Relais Christine to kick off our honeymoon, and it was one of the most charming and memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Tucked away on a quiet street in Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés, the hotel feels like a private Parisian residence—peaceful, intimate, and beautifully designed—while still being just steps from the Seine, cafés, and everything we wanted to explore. We took the train from the airport, which was super easy and accessible, and the first thing we saw when we got above ground was Notre Dame! We stayed in a king room, with the attached courtyard which was absolutely perfect. It was quiet, elegant, and thoughtfully appointed, with a warm, romantic feel that made it easy to unwind after full days in the city. Having the courtyard just outside our door added a sense of calm and privacy that made the stay feel even more special. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed spending late nights outside drinking wine and relaxing. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member we met was gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Whether we needed recommendations, help with reservations, or simply a friendly conversation, the team made us feel cared for in a way that elevated the entire experience. They provided wonderful amenities for us for our honeymoon, with nice touches added both evenings at turndown service. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and served in a cozy, beautifully decorated space. The spread was AWESOME. The hotel’s spa and common areas were equally lovely, offering quiet corners to relax and recharge between outings. Loved the idea and execution of the Honor Bar. Anytime we wanted a drink, we'd come down and grab it. No fuss, no wait...take what you want and fill out the quick form before you head out. Great selection as well. Relais Christine exceeded every expectation we had for our honeymoon. It combines luxury, warmth, and authenticity in a way that few hotels do, and our courtyard room made the stay feel especially intimate and peaceful. We left completely enchanted and already dreaming about returning.
super cute and cozy
nothing
Absolutely fantastic - from the warm welcome the moment we arrived, beautiful room, stunning lounge area, delicious breakfast and attentive friendly helpful staff. I’m looking forward to returning.
Everyone was very pleasant and helpful from the front desk to the breakfast staff and cleaning staff. For a couple of days I wasn't feeling well and they organised a doctor to visit in a very short period of time. When we wanted to stay longer they upgraded us at no extra cost. Very beautiful decor and comfortable and spacious suites.
Finally writing a long overdue review. The Relais Christine's location is perfect, the atmosphere charming, the room was beautiful and the service impeccable. After the hustle and bustle of the city, coming back to the hotel feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket, soothing and peaceful. You are greeted with someone's genuine smile and asked about your day's adventure. Highly recommended, I will return any chance I get!
4 days after Christmas, the holiday decor still up all over Paris, we enjoyed this beautiful gem of a hotel near Notre Dame. The neighborhood offers wonderful restaurants and boutiques all a few steps away. The attentive concierge staff went out of their way to facilitate a smooth stay. The deep colors of the beautiful decor envelops the guest with a cozy feel even on a cold January day. Guerlain scents were an fine olfactory backdrop in all the common rooms and the namesake spa.
My husband and I enjoyed a couple nights here as part of our 10 yr anniversary trip. We we so delighted to see we received a luxurious room upgrade through Chase Travel. I loved the Diptyque products. The breakfast was wonderful and the decor is so classic French. The spa was beautiful and my massage with Nastasia was so relaxing.
Could not ask for anything better in a hotel in Paris. The location is amazing; central, but on a quiet street. My room was beautiful and very, very quiet. I was on the third floor. I visitors the spa for a massage and the facilities were stunning. I enjoyed breakfasts twice during my stay and also enjoyed the salon in the evening. The staff were all so helpful and pleasant. Will stay here again without a doubt.
Relais Christine is an exceptional hotel in every sense, truly one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff went far above expectations, the rooms were absolutely beautiful (chandeliers included), and the cleanliness was flawless. The restaurant staff was equally attentive. I honestly can’t say enough—totally top-notch all the way around.
Keine richtige Heizung, alte Zimmerausstattung und viel zu teuer
servizio colazione in crisi con molta gente. Camera non comodissima su due piani
Relais Christine is a charming hotel with a boutique feel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were impeccable —thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind, especially traveling with a young child. A standout moment was the concierge securing us a reservation at Septime, which is notoriously difficult to book. That alone speaks volumes about the level of service and connections at the hotel. We stayed in Room 57, a duplex junior suite, which was absolutely perfect with our two-year-old daughter. There was plenty of space, and the layout worked beautifully for a family. There was a small mix-up where the hotel initially thought she would need a separate bed (she didn’t), so I’ve included a photo in my review for other parents traveling with very young children—it’s an ideal setup as-is. Breakfast was another highlight: it can be delivered directly to your room, which made mornings infinitely easier with a rowdy toddler and allowed us to enjoy a relaxed start to the day without rushing downstairs. The location is fantastic— quiet and tucked away, yet steps from Saint-Germain, the Seine, and countless cafés and shops. It’s one of those rare places that feels peaceful while still being perfectly central. The only downside was housekeeping: water was never refilled in the room, which felt odd for a hotel at this level, and the same applied to turndown service. Overall, Relais Christine is a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff and a classic Parisian feel. Minor housekeeping inconsistencies aside, we would absolutely return—especially when traveling with a young child.
Hôtel idéalement situé sur la rive gauche
The Relais Christine, a superb venue for a family or friends time in Paris! Great location - atmosphere - lovely common areas for any time of the day but especially late hours after dinner. Very helpful and attentive staff.
one of the finest boutique five star hotels of the easily more than one hundred where we have stayed.
The origins of the property are evident as soon as one enters - it has the warmth and hospitality of a home but with all of the elegance and service we expect from a R&C property. We will be back.
The hotel is impeccable, beautifully decorated, comfortable and the staff are wonderful. I could have just stayed at the hotel day in, day out for the entirety of the stay, but then of course the city of Paris is outside!!
We only had two nights at Relais Christine and I wish we could have spent more time there! The property is incredibly charming and perfectly situated in the Left Bank to enjoy all the wonderful shops and restaurants in the area. This is a property for you if you are looking for a warm, boutique, cozy stay with exceptional staff that are always smiling and pleasant. The quality of the breakfast was amazing - the croissants were some of the best we had all week in Paris! The staff was so kind in helping us celebrate my daughter's birthday and we are so grateful for their warmth and generosity.
My husband and I recently visited Paris and stayed at the Relais Christine; it was my second stay and his first and it exceeded both our expectations. We were welcomed with all the warmth you would expect of a Relais and Chateau property. The room, breakfast, amenities, and limitless patience of the concierge made our stay more than perfect. Not to mention the beautiful spa and facial treatments! We can't wait to return and make this a regular visit. Drs. Lynn and Philip Levy
We have been to Paris many times, but this was our first stay at Relais Christine…and we will never stay anywhere else in Paris again. Our warm welcome at check in was just the start. This gorgeous hotel with courtyard is tucked away on a small quiet block. The luxuriously appointed lobby lounge, furnished with sofas and chairs you sink into, has an honor bar, board games, newspapers, and hot and cold beverage service. The lovely rooms are quiet, with upholstered walls, comfortable beds, and marbled baths, with strong showers. Many, many thoughtful amenities, including bikes. Guerlain Spa is stunning and exceptional. However, what places Relais Christine above the rest of the great boutique hotels in Paris is its exquisite staff. They provide impeccable service, anticipating every need and providing recommendations and helpful suggestions (“Take an umbrella with you!”) The breakfast buffet is substantial and delicious. The hotel is so comfortable and inviting, we couldn’t wait to return at the end of the day.
Do not stay here. It feels like an old, uncared for British home in the middle class countryside.Cheap furnishings and terrible breakfasts that are cold. Even the coffee was weak.
After a long travel day that is cold and rainy, it is a luxury to be recognized and welcomed by name at the front desk. What a lovely and cozy place!
Just the perfect hotel if you want to stay in the Latin Quarter. Absolutely wonderful location on a nice street close to many restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the Seine. The self serve honor system bar and various sitting areas to enjoy your drink are cozy and comfortable. Concierge very helpful. A very elegant, beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful location. Highly, highly recommend.
Delightful stay- prime location, lovely hotel , excellent service. Lobby furnishings needs a little refresh, but overall a wonderful hotel. Will definitely return.
This hotel is in an amazing location but is in need of a renovation and upgrade in services to warrant the high price per night.
Superb location and staff. Great hotel to walk around and experience Paris. Well appointed hotel with a beautiful courtyard entrance.
An incredible hotel in a wonderful area. The most attentive staff and accommodations. Beautiful spa and wonderful breakfast daily.
Our stay at Relais Christine was practically perfect in every way. It is a charming hotel with a wonderful staff and a great location. We enjoyed walks to the Orsay, Louvre, Notre Dame and Rodin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Relais Christine is a "hidden gem"...nestled on Rue Christine, thru lovely arched doors, one enters into a place of calm, homey elegance and a staff supportive, considerate and welcoming. without questioning we were given another room when we asked...rooms are lovingly decorated...elegance with warmth, comfort, a sense of home...breakfast is delicious and carefully overseen by the morning staff...drinks are available all day on the honor system...the sitting areas are inviting, extemely comfortable and offer a place of pure relaxation at the end of the day...we found this property to fit us to perfection....will not hesitate to stay again....the location is unrivaled....thank you all at RC for the wonderful experience you gave to us.
This is a lovely small hotel. Centrally located on the Left Bank. Walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay and other sites. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant, but there are many local brasseries nearby. The rooms are nicely appointed but small. It was difficult to maneuver with 2 suitcases and carry-ons. The bathrooms are small.
Relais Christine was a calming oasis with superb ambiance and amenities. Our two story suite (64) was perfect for our group of four with a sitting area on the first floor, that included three options for dressing/toilet facilities. The upstairs included two private bedrooms and the accommodation looked out to the beautifully landscaped courtyard. We loved the breakfast service and greatly enjoyed the honor bar system which was wonderful to experience after a busy day touring Paris. The location in St. Germain was unbeatable and we will certainly stay here again when we return to Paris.
my family and friends recently stayed at the Relais Christine in Paris. What a wonderful hotel in a great location. Every aspect of the stay was great ! We highly recommend when traveling to Paris!
Our stay at Relais Christine was nothing short of spectacular. The staff, accommodations and overall ambience were superb. After spending our days exploring Paris, it was wonderful to come back to this calming retreat. The honor bar was a great option and daily breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful and comfortable hotel with a very attentive staff. The cozy room was very cute, but a bit too small for two people. I would recommend it for one person. You really have no room for the second luggage. The bathtub was very deep and you had to be careful getting in. Next time I would ask for a stand alone shower. I would definitely return and request a larger room.
Location
Courtyard should be put to use for breakfast. When you walk in at 10.30 and ask breakfast for 2 , first thing waiter does is look at his watch in exagerated way. Did it again with next couple. Could have slapped him. Not nice at all. Then you pay 40 euros a person for breakfast with a waiter who s not liking it. Real bad point. Also curtain was not fixed well , lot of light came in and second night still not fixed ( I did not mention it though) room 23.
Quintessential Parisian. The hotel is perfectly suited in the 6th, beautifully designed, decorated, maintained and serviced. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We will certainly return.
Fabulous location, private yet in the heart of the buzz.
Communication with staff was challenging and not quite up to what we would normally encounter in a 5* hotel but in all fairness coming from the UAE might be very biased in expecting excellent service.
Fabulous hotel, staff and location. Close to Notre Dame, museums and restaurants. We will be staying there again.
Beautifully appointed. Excellent condition. Wonderfully helpful staff. BEST shower I’ve ever had.
I was more than pleased with my recent stay at Relais Christine. The location of the property is excellent - just a few blocks to the vibrant St. Germain des Pres neighborhood but on a quiet side street so there is no noise. My room was lovely and given the insane heat of August, well air-conditioned! But the best part was the exceptional staff in all roles. Front desk staff was kind, personable and swiftly effective. Check in was fast and friendly, and I was offered their services for restaurant reservations, taxis or spa treatments. A subsequent conversation led to the front desk offering me a hard to get ticket for a very popular art installation. I was thrilled! Finally, my flight home was cancelled and the front desk immediately confirmed that I could stay an additional night with a cheerful follow up call a few minutes later telling me that I could remain in my room (they shuffled things around). Additionally, the Breakfast Buffet staff is also wonderful. Remembered my name and my tea preference after the first day. Helpful and personable, they made my mornings. Oh, and the food was great too! And last, but oh not least, the Spa Guerlain downstairs is amazing. My massage with Tess was excellent and my only disappointment was that she was so busy, I wasn't able to book another massage with her before the end of my trip. Learn from my mistake and book ahead. I plan to return to Relais Christine on my next trip to Paris - it has definitely made my short list.
It doesn't get any better than the Relais Christine. Fantastic location on a very quiet street close to all the sights, shops, restaurants, and convenient metro stations in Saint Germain. The property itself is so beautiful and charming, with an outstanding staff that pays such wonderful attention to detail, and welcomes each guest as if you are family. The spa is lovely and the attendants very attentive. A generous breakfast menu and buffet is available and the staff at the restaurant are so professional---they remembered my name, my room number, and my coffee preference after my first morning there. I honestly can't stay anywhere else in Paris---I keep coming back to Relais Christine
Gorgeous hotel, fantastic location, impeccable service. The hotel itself is what you would expect from a 5-star hotel in Paris – clean, neat, luxurious. The spa downstairs feels like an old wine cellar and has showers, a sauna, a hot tub, and gym, all available 24/7 (but I didn't see another person down there the entire time we stayed). There aren't a ton of places to sit in the lobby, but the spaces they do have are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. But I wanted to mainly give kudos to a hotel employee who really seemed to go out of their way to make people happy. There are some cities or resorts you can stay at where all you do is stay around the hotel area. Paris is obviously not one of those places – you're there to sleep, maybe eat a bit, but you spend most of your day exploring the city. So the fact that the hotel experience was so impactful says something about the staff and the hotel in general. We arrived at 10am on a Friday and immediately were greeted warmly by the maître d'hotel, Fernando, to come sit and have breakfast. Throughout our trip, Fernando became a welcome and memorable presence. The breakfast buffet is a must-do at least once on your trip. And if you're like me, it's a must-do every morning. Previous times in Paris I have eaten breakfast at cafés or on the go, but nothing touches this breakfast assortment. The pastries, the yogurts, eggs, fruit, spreads, coffee – everything is TOP notch, perfectly fresh and delicious. I had picked out 4 places I absolutely wanted to go for breakfast, and I didn't go to any of them because the breakfast buffet at Relais Christine just that good, and that comfortable of a setting. Meanwhile, on our second morning, Fernando briefly sang opera to a table who clapped along with the rest of the room. He seemed so genuinely happy to be of service, and to make memorable experiences for everyone in the room. We got to chatting about music, and I mentioned to him that I am very fond of Brazilian cheese bread (pão de queijo) since he was born in Brazil. The next morning, my wife and another couple sat down for breakfast, and what did Fernando have waiting for us? A bowl of warm, fresh pão de queijo, that he no doubt went out of his way to get for us from a French bakery very early in the morning. I know we were not the only people he's gone out of his way for, and I'm sure others who have stayed here have benefitted from his dedication.
Luxury and location in one. Best hotel for an authentic Parisian stay!
From the moment we arrived, this hotel felt like home. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. They anticipated our needs before we even expressed them and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The level of care and hospitality we experienced here is rare. Whether it was helping us navigate travel hiccups, offering thoughtful recommendations, or simply greeting us each day with a smile, every interaction made us feel valued and welcome. We’ve stayed in many exceptional hotels around the world, but this property holds a unique place in our hearts. It’s more than just a beautiful space—it’s a place where Paris feels even more magical, where the charm of the city blends seamlessly with an atmosphere of warmth and love. We cannot wait to return and relive the magic.
We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Relais Christine. From the second we arrived, we were impressed with the level of service. The entire staff made us feel at home, especially our two daughters. The accommodations are well appointed and spacious. Truly a magical stay for our family.
I recently stayed at Relais Christine with my teen daughter for four nights. We had such a wonderful stay at the property. The location, the room, the amenities and the service were all exemplary. It's rare that my expectations are surpassed, as was the case during our stay. We cannot wait to stay at Relais Christine again the next time we visit Paris.
Staying at the Relais Christine in Paris was a marvelous experience. The ambience and beauty of the hotel was matched by the welcome and warmth we experienced from the hotel staff. Everyone - from the reception staff, concierge, breakfast buffet wait staff to the housekeeping team that cleaned and stocked our room - was so helpful and kind. Tucked away on the quiet Rue Christine, the location was tranquil and yet only minutes from major attractions like the Notre Dame and Louvre. The breakfast buffet was excellent and became something we looked forward to daily. The Concierge service was tremendously helpful in getting us around Paris, with great recommendations for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. It was our first time in Paris and our stay at the Relais Christine made it a truly sublime vacation. We will be back!
I would definitely recommend Relais Christine for its dedication to service, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast spread, etc.
Exactly what you would expect from a Relais & Chateau property. The staff was perfect, always polite and helpful. We booked late, so only room available was a “cozy”room, the smallest room category. We’re used to having suites, but made due with the small, but attractive room. The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints (be aware, this category of room is quite tight, with just enough room for a small nightstand on either side of the bed and no room for a chair). We will definitely return to this hotel, but likely will book earlier for a larger room. The location is great, easy walking to Saint Germaine, Notre Dame, etc. We were also able to walk to dinner most nights, with a great selection of restaurants in the neighborhood, including a restaurant and a bistro on either side of the hotel. Nice spread at the breakfast buffet with a good selection of hot food, fruit and pastries. Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was beautiful, with every amenity and perfectly situated to explore Paris. Additionally, the staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide exceptional service.
Our two night stay at the Relais Christine was amazing. The common spaces, as well as our room, were beautiful, and so comfortable. We were greeted by staff who met our every need at all times of day, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and cappuccino each morning. The bikes were a lovely touch, and some of our party enjoyed a morning bike ride to the Eiffel Tower!
Wow. This hotel is such a hidden gem. I had never even heard of it and now I can't wait to go back again and again. From the moment we arrived we knew it was special. It's the perfect Parisian boutique hotel, tucked away on a cosy little street in the heart of everything you want to do in the city. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and there are so many employees behind the desk or in the lobby ready to help you. We booked a smaller room but they upgraded us to a beautiful suite which felt like our own apartment in the city. Breakfast options were plentiful and again, there are several staff milling about at breakfast ready to help you. I loved all the personalized attention. It's hard to describe how special this property is. We will absolutely be back.
This was our fourth stay at the RC and like the others was just superb. To start the location on the left bank very near the Pont Neuf can't be beat and when you enter the courtyard you are transported to a different time and place. It has only 48 rooms of different sizes and all beautifully decorated. No fulltime restaurant but a wonderful breakfast room and a living room and library with honor bar that are just perfect when you come back from a day of exploring Paris. However the reason you will love it is the staff. It sounds crazy but you will feel like you are coming home each day with a friendly greeting and wanting to know how they can assist. It's a little pricey but we've styed in more well known luxury hotel there and they don't compare to the RC at all. We will be back!
We are repeat guests of this oasis of luxury , a true treat in the heart of the St Germaine district. Peace and beauty envelope you as you walk through the entrance. The decor is lovely and the vibe is intimate . The rooms are all different and some have windows to the court yard below. The spa is like a hidden spacious retreat under the hotel ; our massages were over the top ! All of the staff were so friendly and warm . Can not wait to return !
This elegant hotel, somehow combines luxury with comfort and warmth. The rooms are lovely, the staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. The location is exceptional with all of the best of Paris only a short walk away. We have stayed here multiple times and fully expect to return for an extended trip in the near future.
I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property and the room are gorgeous, the bedding is so comfortable, and the location is so convenient to so many things. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the Air conditioning--for a hotel of this caliber, I would have expected it to cool better than it did (although it certainly cooled better than no AC). In case it's helpful to anyone, we were a family of 3 (myself and my 18 year old daughter and 21 year old son) and we stayed in the room with the loft bedroom and the sofa bed/bathroom on the main level. It was plenty big for the 3 of us (and we tend to spread out!). I worried the sofa bed might not be comfortable, but it was every bit as comfortable as the plush beds in the loft and we plenty long for my 5"11" son.
The hotel was impeccable from beginning to end,. The concierge went above and beyond to book all our hard to get restaurants and sold out museum passes, the ambience was warm and lovely, the location superb, and the rooms charming and sophisticated. We look forward to our next visit!
We have stayed at Relais Chrisine several times, and the hotel never disappoints. The hotel is small and feels a bit like home. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms could not be more comfortable. The buffet breakfast is always delicious--fresh fruits and the best croissants in the world.
This is a very special boutique hotel with wonderful staff that will insure your stay is the best it could be. From the moment of arrival the staff is very attentive to the guests needs. The living room with the honor bar is a wonderful spot to gather after dinner.
Relais Christine is a world-class hotel tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of St. Germaine in Paris. Concierge is incredible, with friendly staff, great recommendations and never-ending assistance. And the rooms are super comfortable, well-appointed, clean, quiet and cozy. Location is great, we were able to walk to so many major attractions and restaurants. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel and staff! Highly recommend.
This was our second stay at Relais Christine, and it was as wonderful as our first. We came to Paris for my 40th birthday, and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere but here. I love the atmosphere of the property -- it's friendly, cozy and luxurious. The perfect mix to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Our room overlooked the street on the second floor and was very quiet even with noise outside. The service was top notch with the front desk staff always on hand to help, even ahead of time with emailed asks. Also, they provided a small breakfast of pastries and coffee when we arrived very early our first day off an overnight flight. It was just what we needed to perk up and explore the city until our room was ready. On my birthday, they provided a beautiful small bottle of Tattinger champagne to toast with a kind handwritten note. It was so thoughtful. This is by far my favorite hotel in Paris, and I cannot wait to return again!
Truly lovely hotel, centrally located. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Walkable to many of the sights. The concierge staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast with the wonderful fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel staff are there when you need them but unobtrusive. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.
We love this hotel. Everything about it is perfect! Location, Parisian feel, and comfort. I highly recommend it.
Perfect location, very nice rooms, excellent staff. Thank you for making our time in Paris more enjoyable.
Excellent, would recommend anyone stay here. The staff, rooms, everything is unbelievable. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.
This was our first time staying at Relais Christine and we really enjoyed it. It's located in a wonderful area filled with small stores and quaint cafes. Perfectly positioned for walking to the Seine and then all over the City. The hotel itself is situated on a quiet street which we really appreciated. The property is really well managed. The service was excellent. We look forward to staying here the next time we visit Paris.
My wife and I had yet another delightful stay at the Relais Christine. Its location is perfect for touring Paris and its staff are impressively engaged at all times. The breakfast buffet is hard to beat and the honor bar is just perfect after a day in the city. We are definitely coming back.
This restaurant apparently has changed ownership since the last time we were there. But the food was excellent. We had wonderful white , asparagus, and an excellent croque minute. My wife’s onion soups was light and excellent. Service was prompt. The restaurant is always crowded and the management was friendly. It’s a very nice place for lunch in the middle of st Germain des Pres
This was one of multiple trips to the Relais Christine. We love the hotel and its excellent staff. Like so many popular 5 star hotels it is getting a bit tired and needs refurbishing.
Absolutely LOVED our stay. Beautiful and luxurious small boutique hotel, excellent service, plentiful breakfast buffet and very helpful concierge team. It was nice to have an honor bar should you want a drink before or after dinner. Great location to walk to so many of the amazing sights in Paris. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommend this charming hotel!!!
Le Relais Christine is a beautiful and elegant small hotel on a quiet street in the Latin Quarter, lovely staff, really wonderful breakfasts and a nice honor bar at night. Beautiful common rooms, and very pretty and well appoiunted guest rooms. great and cozy beds, Our only quibbles—1) most of the other guests seemed to be from the US, so we didn’t interact with many French people other than the universally lovely hotel staff, And 2j our pretty, super traditional bathroom had a tub shower where the side of the tub was so high that my husband had to spot me during entry to make sure i didnt fall. not the hotel’s fault as I didn’t request a walk in shower or lower tub entry shower, but still challenging, even with only slight mobility issues. (there is an elevator, but a few steps are required here and there otherwise, including down to the breakfast room and in the spa). my massage at the spa was wonderful. We booked using Chase points, which got us ffree breakfast each day (40 euro per person value) and a $100 spa credit, but otherwise I think its quite spendy if paying out of pocket.
My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights at Relais Christine in April - I wish it could have been more! We booked a package including a spa visit and fresh fruit in the room upon arrival. We were pleasantly surprised by being able to check in early and after 1/2 bottle of champagne in the room that evening to celebrate my birthday. Accommodations were excellent. The room was very well appointed and the mid-size room we booked gave us a little extra space for our things as well as a small couch. The room was quiet with the windows closed. Breakfast was very good with fruit, breads, pastries, delicious jams, cold meats, fresh juices, some hot selections, etc. We found it better to have eggs made to order rather than the buffet egg selection. The breakfast room/salon was beautifully decorated - a great start to the day. The Spa was very nice and we enjoyed a couples massage with a little relaxation time and tea afterwards. They have a selection of Gurlaine product and makeup that were also very nice. The honor bar in the evenings had a nice selection of champagne and other drinks. It was popular but not crowded in the sitting area when we visited both times. Location was perfect for visiting left bank sights and Notre Dame. It was a short walk to the Notre Dame metro station which took us to further destinations. The metro was very easy to use, but I would take an Uber or arrange a car with the hotel for travel with luggage. I will definitely stay here again on a future visit to Paris!
Hotel service and friendliness were top notch. Great location from which to walk to many sights. Rooms and hotel were very quiet and comfortable.
A wonderful hotel, in a greta location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, offering luxurious rooms, individually decorated. Staff take great care of all guests and ensure your stay is one to remember. Highly recommend!
I hemmed and hawed over hotels, wanting to stay somewhere very nice for our trip. This hotel hit so many marks, I think it will be my "go to" from now on. The hotel itself is gorgeous - but the location is unbeatable. I mean that in more ways than one. First of all, you can get to everything so easily, its at most a 30 min walk. Second of all, you're "in the thick of it", meaning you walk one street over and you feel like you're really in a city. But BEST of all, when you turn down Rue Christine, it's quiet and peaceful, as is the hotel. There isn't a bunch of noise inundating you at all hours. You feel like you're maybe 30 min out of the city. It's magic what they've been able to do! The concierge was also a stand out, helping us make multiple impossible reservations. I cannot wait to come back!
