Great parking, easy access to the highway but far enough away for it to be quiet

Leider war das Zimmer total schimmlig weswegen man dort kaum atmen konnte. Zudem kommt hinzu, dass das Personal unfassbar unfreundlich war. Aufgrund einer Planänderung wollten wir vorab das Zimmer stornieren - unsere Nachrichten und höflichen Anfragen wurden bis heute ignoriert, als wir ein Telefon organisieren konnten wurden wir beschimpft. Auch vor Ort verhielt es sich gleich - bezüglich des Schimmels wurde überhaupt kein Verständnis entgegengebracht und nicht einmal versucht eine gemeinsame Lösung zu finden. Stattdessen wurden wir angeschrien und belogen. Sehr schade, da wir wirklich bereit gewesen wären für Kompromisse. So bleibt uns nichts anderes übrig als die schlechteste Bewertung zu wählen, weil wir dieses Motel wirklich niemandem empfehlen können.

When I checked into my room there was a huge tub in the middle. Excited as I just finished 4 hours on my motorcycle in HEAT. Went to turn on, no water. I called reception and was told price I paid does not include the Tub. I expressed my disappointment, but nope no btub for me. Sadly as I've stayed here several times on my East Coast trips...but never again.

It’s difficult in a little room but the air conditioning was incredibly loud and the bedding was very warm, so I basically had to sleep on top of the covers with the air conditioning off. Only really a problem on hot nights and less of a problem if you have earplugs

Friendly reception upon arrival. The room was very clean with fresh towels and small toiletries like soap, body wash, and shampoo. The beds were very comfortable. Small fridge and free coffee was nice.

Smelly front office with tacky decor! Rooms were damp smelling, run down, needed upgrading, uncomfortable beds, not enough pillows, black mold on trim, dirty doors/needs painting, smells bad/musky smell

I’ve stayed in more than a hundred motels in more places than I could count at this point in my life. I have never encountered a place like the Country Squire. It is meticulously clean and extremely well maintained. There is obviously pride in ownership and respect for clients here.

Very clean, very comfortable and the owner provided me a room with a hot tub as a bonus! Same great rate for a wonderfully comfortable room. The bed is glorious!

We came in late, and we were met with a smile and help. Love the down to earth home feeling we got as soon as we pulled in. Room was clean and such a cute setting! Absolutely loved to spa tub, that was so wonderful after a long days travel! Will definitely bring my family and definitely be staying again! 10/10

I found this property to be exactly as advertised. Owners are trying really hard, the exterior and the room were very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the room recently renovated. Best value I found this trip! AC was ice cold, area is near Tim's McDonalds and several other food places, could easily walk to.

I really cant think of anything that I would expect to be different. The price for a clean affordable place to stay enroute is all i wanted.

Given a “non-smoking room” The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for a very long time. The smell never went away Came home with my clothes smelling like smoke. Very unpleasant

The soaker bathtub spa was perfect after a long day shopping in Ottawa. The bed was clean and comfortable. Had a mini fridge. The TV was on a wall mount that could be turned to see from bed or soaker tub.

The floor could have been cleaner. The towels we put on the floor around the soaker tub were quite dirty when we picked them up. The room smelled bad-we opened the windows and went for some air fresheners when we arrived.

La chambre était propre et confortable. L’hotel est très bien situé nous avons pu tout faire à pied ( centre ville, courses, park...). Bon rapport qualité/prix.

From the moment we walked into the room, things went wrong. The room had a mildew smell . The bathroom door would not stay closed. The beds were horrible. We tried sleeping in one the first night, and it honestly was one of the worst sleep of my life. The bed was lumpy and the springs were popping out , and the bed was like sleeping on a pile of rocks. I stayed in another room in September and had a positive experience, so I decided to go back another time. I regret choosing a different room. I had to speak with the owners, and I experienced poor customer service from dirty looks and rudeness from the wife to a dismissive attitude from the husband. I understand motels have different standards from hotels, and things are run differently. However, when one room has a multitude of issues and is not addressed, it makes you wonder.

The staff(owners mostly) are very helpful and pleasant. Very close to Tim Hortons,drugstore,restaurants,Canadian Tire etc. Lots of parking in front of each unit. Rooms are clean with microwave,fridge,air conditioning,cable and Wifi!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We rented the room with the spa and there was plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy and room was clean.

The check in took a 20 minutes but the check in process was without issue. The room was easily accessible for me, my daughter and my grand son. The motel was quite and met our needs. Check out was seamless. Overall I would recommend this motel.

The check in and check out procedures could have been more efficient (this is partially my fault so minimal blame to the motel). Check in we had to wait for the owner to come onto site to check us in (partially my fault because I thought we would be in later so I think the owner thought he would have time to work on another property). Check out I awoke the owner but again this is on me, I really didn't need to 'check out' and payment had been made.

Great little motel, very good quality for the money. Quite clean, friendly staff. Bed was little to hard for me and pillow very uncomfortable, ti soft and to small.

Only issue was wifi did not include internet access hence no access to email or other websites during stay. One assumes wifi includes such access. Otherwise motel was excellent value.

Arrived by dinner, easy trip downtown for a meal. In bed by 9PM and out first thing in the morning. Fit the bill at a reasonable price for an old motel!
