The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. They allowed me to come early and store my luggage before official check-in time, which was really helpful. Situated right in the city center, it offers superb convenience for sightseeing, dining and public transport. The whole space is immaculately clean, quiet, neat and filled with a warm, cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend all travelers to book this hostel!

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Het ontvangst door Jennifer en de leuke aankleding van het hostel. Ik voelde er me meteen thuis. Jennifer was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Op het moment dat ik verbleef was het er erg rustig en ook in dat gedeelte van de stad. Omdat het ver van het strand ben ik naar een ander hostel gegaan, anders was ik zeker gebleven.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Erg gezellige hostel met een fijne vibe, grote keuken/eetruimte. Een leuk gedeeld terras dat uitkijkt over de winkelstraat. Ook de kamer die we hadden was smaakvol ingericht. De gemeenschappelijke woonkamer heeft een boekenrek met achtergelaten boeken in verschillende talen. Er was airco. Erg bereikbare host (whatsapp).
Slapen met het raam open lukt niet omdat de verduistering dan begint te slaan door de wind (lawaai). In de gedeelde douche nam ik al eens haar weg van mijn voorgangers en daags nadien lag er opnieuw een hoop in de afvoer, ik vermoed achtergelaten na het douchen van het personeel zelf (in elk geval mag dit beter opgevolgd worden). Met de stad zelf hadden we geen klik.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025Ostello allegro, colorato, curato. Molto piacevole. Sono rimasta una sola notte ma spero di tornarci. Ho fatto colazione guardando una cicogna nel suo nido, a pochi metri dalla mia finestra, ed è stato molto bello.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025La struttura è pulita, la stanza per 6 persone abbastanza grande e ci sono armadietti con chiave. I letti inferiori hanno la tendina quindi è garantita privacy. Il personale è accogliente. Mi hanno anche permesso di lasciare lo zaino il giorno seguente senza alcun sovrapprezzo. Distante 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei bus. Ci sono bar vicinissimi per fare colazione al mattino.
L'ostello è un po' distante dalla zona di bar/ristoranti, a circa 15/20 minuti di Uber (info datami da una delle persone che ci lavora). Inoltre portate con voi bagno doccia perché non viene fornito. La zona docce un po' spartana, manca un appoggio per gli oggetti, credo sia condivisa uomini/donne e questo potrebbe creare un po' di disagio, fortunatamente l'ostello non era molto affollato e non ho avuto problemi di privacy. Personalmente trovo il prezzo un po' alto per il tipo di servizio offerto, con questa cifra dovrebbe almeno essere garantito il bagno in camera.

The only thing was that the bed was broken but still comfortable honestly! We wen’t to portimao because it was the cheapest stay last minute but honestly not really worth going… everything to visit is far away but thats on us!

L'auberge est joliment installée, la chambre est confortable (+ il y a des casiers pour les objets de valeur) et il y a même de quoi se doucher en toute intimité. L'auberge est centrée et sur une rue piétonne. Il y a de quoi s'acheter à manger à proximité + faire du shopping.

Reviewed Sep 25, 2024El ambiente es lo que más me gustó y lo acogedor que me resultó. Además, la terraza me encantó. Fue lo que más me gustó. Y las duchas estaban limpias.
Un poco antiguo y además no incluía nada de desayuno. Además el aire acondicionado debería de estar programado porque me daba directamente el la cara, en mi cama.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2024Die Zimmer waren ganz normal. Genug Stauraum und sauberes Bett. Das Hostel an sich war mega schön eingerichtet und dekoriert. Sehr saubere Küche die zum kochen einlädt. Super nettes und junges Personal (wir haben jetzt noch Kontakt miteinander) aber auch der Boss brauchte nur 10min um bei einem Problem zu erscheinen. Es gab ein normale Kabinen-Dusche und oben ein sehr schönes Badezimmer wo man, wenn man Glück hatte ein ganzes Badezimmer für sich hatte.

Location was difficult to find (small sign on wall between shops), one of the guests smoked in the bedroom linked patio and brought the smoke in the bedroom, shower curtains only used for privacy (not enough)

Me estaban cobrando la tasa de impuesto al turismo 2 veces, fue súper incomodo al indicarme que no me podía ir sin cancelar cuando yo ya había pagado el día anterior, a estas alturas deberían dejar eso estipulado entre el personal administrativo en una plantilla Excel, e-mail, whatsapp o block de notas por último.

There are volunteers working there and sometimes they don't do the service as workers.

Me hubiese gustado que las camas tuvieran alguna cortina para un poco más de privacidad .
