Very good experience. Superb and friendly staff, great location. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
🫤
The team at reception are great - friendly and helpful. Ton was especially helpful in storing my bags for over a week. The room was equipped with everything I needed. There was a lift so no need to carry heavy bags up stairs.
I had a good size double bed on the 5th floor. I always prefer a firm mattress rather than a soft one but the mattress in my room was so hard that it was very uncomfortable. I'd stayed a week earlier in a twin room with a friend and the bed was fine.
Emplacement
Climatisation défectueuse, ménage loin d’être satisfaisant, manque d’équipement , bruit…

Location is good, room is very simple and there is a sweet lady who prepares a breakfast dish that you request. There are no fruits available, there is not really a fresh buffet, just some breads and butter and jam.
It was very expensive considering the service and the room and the overall state of the hotel. Overpriced. If it was 3 times as cheap it would be reasonable.
Hot water in the shower, comfortable bed, clean. Excellent staff very helpful.
The room was not that big, the floor could use some work. Otherwise it was fine.
Great place to stay
Bed was too hard. No closet to store anything. No refrigerator

The location is amazing, it is a very comfortable hotel, and the staff was amazing, they helped us with everything.
For the price I didn’t expect the Ritz - it was great and the staff were so lovely

Staff were nice and always readily available. Bathroom and sheets were clean. Can’t ask for much more for the price :) Has a 7/11 and starbucks on the opposite side of the road. Was a good location for where my friends and I wanted to go to as it was in the middle.
There was always so many ants in my room which was closest to the main road which can’t really be helped and also found ants in our kettle- left us unsettled but what can we do yk. Not that fussed.
It was classified as a three star hotel but it is more like a motel than a hotel.
Comfortable bed, quiet room, coffee and tea making facilities, helpful English speaking staff and a lift.
Nothing
Very good location, clean and nice rooms. Good towels Cleaning every day
There is no fridge in the room
Extremely poor standard, definitely should not be rated a 3 star hotel. This has deteriorated significantly looking at past reviews. Please see the list below for why this hotel should be AVOIDED: - Our aircon was leaking throughout our stay, it soaked my belongings on the desk, went over the TV and plug sockets. We only had one towel each in the room and we had to use one because the floor was wet. SEE IMAGES. A huge safety and fire hazard. We let reception know immediately and they moved us to another room for the night whilst they fixed it. When we returned to our original room the next day, they had forgotten to fix it, as their water system had broken down and all of the water across the hotel was brown. - Brown water started coming from the toilet and taps half way through our stay as sewage system broke down. We could not shower whilst this was broken, and had to wash our hands with bottled water- SEE IMAGES. - We were moved to a THIRD room for another night as they said they were definitely going to fix the air con the following day. This room's toilet didn't flush at all, the aircon was poor and one of the 'fresh' towels had a blood stain!!! SEE IMAGES. When we returned to our room they said they found nothing wrong with our aircon, but images can prove that this was leaking! - We had to re-tighten the window screws because it did not shut. The bathroom door also didn't shut properly. There was only one bin for the while room and it was a tiny sanitary bin in the bathroom!! -Dimly lit room, half the lights and plugs didn't work, staining on lampshades -No hairdryer in room as stated online. No fridge or bin in main room. Very little space for storing clothes. - Leftover rubbish from previous resident, left throughout whole stay (SEE IMAGES). - There was a 'gummy bear' room air freshener which honestly smelled awful in the heat- a sickly smell like leaving sweets in a hot car. We ended up leaving a few days earlier than expected because it was unbearable. We tried to explain all of these issues to reception but there was a significant language barrier. I have been in hostels rated much less, with a far higher standard of hygiene. Having clear water to wash with is a basic human right and having a 'no cancellation or refund' policy for such poor accommodation is not acceptable and is a public health concern.
Not much to be fair… the only good thing was the bed, quite comfy (except the pillows very thin and probably old). Staff was nice however communication was extremely hard due to them not speaking English and I don’t speak Thai.
Can I say everything? Honestly I was really disappointed and was counting the minutes to leave. I just stayed there because I had already paid for it. When I first arrived, the bathroom smelled so bad, it was unbearable. Plus, we didn’t have cold water so our first shower was practically boiling water. We asked the staff to change rooms but they were fully booked so there wasn’t much they could do. They added some dried flowers to the bathroom as if that would make the sewage smell go away… Other than that, the room didn’t feel clean (especially the bathroom - which should be the cleanest part). This was the most expensive hotel me and my husband stayed throughout our 2 weeks in Thailand and the worst of them all. Would have preferred to stay in a hostel that here again. Do not recommend.
The bed was REALLY hard and my room was out to the way, where the window couldn’t properly, so it was hard to sleep for all the noise
Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception is open 24/7! We planned to stay for 2 nights, but we were enjoying Chiang Mai so much that we booked 2 extra nights at check out and another night after our trip to Pai, which was all fine. We did have to check out in order to get the new room though but that was understandable. Unfortunately this second room had a leaking air-conditioner but they helped us to another room and gave us complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. We could even leave our luggage there for the 3 days we were off to Pai, for no additional charge! The rooms are good and silent.
No personal refrigerator in the rooms. Beds are hard but not harder than in other places. Self-service laundry available for a good price but not enough place/racks/hangers on the 5th floor to let it dry unfortunately..
Clean , fantastic staff and location on the Edge of old City and great value for money.
Stuff is very friendly and helpful
TV only offers 10 channels and no western international channels
Great value for this price
I like the shower head they used in the bathroom.
Having clean and well maintained rooms.
Very clean.
The room is too small and th ventilation fan is stalled right above the bed, very noisy.
Nice staff
Small room
I loved leaving
The room was dirty, there were ants in the room, the beds were concrete,
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was pretty powerful also.
Our room was very loud as the property is on a main road and the windows don’t offer much insulation. The hotel was very tired and clearly has been neglected over the past few years. Location was a bit of a pain, quite a long walk from most of the tourist spots. Staff spoke very poor English and weren’t very welcoming.
Good location by the river, friendly helpful staff, daily room service with water coffee and tea
The ac unit in my room wasn't strong enough, but wasn't a big deal since it wasn't too hot
property was nice, super reasonable. standard bedrooms which were made every day and water and towels replaced but not cleaned. loved the location inside the walls and plenty of stuff nearby or a short journey in the car. staff were friendly and we had our washing done while there and it was ready within 24 hours
room didn’t feel like it was clean but bed was made and towels changed daily. price is reflective
The hotel is on the main road, inside the old city walls, it's a great location.
Goos value with security and friendly staff
Hallway needs carpet deep clean, and overall detail work.
Handy location and helpful staff
Great shower pressure.
Quite small room. Not a lot of sunlight getting through the window.
Not clean
Good size room. Comfortable. Nice shower.
A bit basic for the price.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cheap but good for the price. Friendly staff.
We got the worse room in the hotel, 1st floor over a busy road with poor sonic insulation and it was very loud.
The AC was broken in my room and I asked them for a different room because of it. They sent someone to look at the AC, he confirmed it was broken they called me and asked to wait 20 min. 2 hours later the same man showed up said he was sorry and sprayed my room with some extremely potent and left. I checked out early and whet to the Leiveiw Hotel across the street highly recommend instead.
After a horrific night in a different hostel some friends recommended this place and we loved it. Was a bit of 'luxury' following a few days of madness. Theres a dominos down the road and has options for dorm and private rooms. Felt like a bit of home after a long time travelling. Very clean and in a great destination.
Exactly as the website. Clean, modern rooms. Air con good. Plenty of hot water. Water bottles and clean towels replaced daily. Breakfast limited and not what most Brits will be used to but adequate. Good location for exploring the city. Staff friendly and helpful
