The shuttle pickup was prompt and the driver friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony to sit out and enjoy the balmy evening. There was a supermarket down the road and a couple of restaurants and cafes nearby. The breakfast was continental with plenty of choices.

No complaint but would have loved to be able to make a cup of tea in the room but a lot of European hotels don't have this facility so not unusual.

So close to the hotel and its great that they have your own shuttle, I love e getting there the night before, and they arrange for pick up too! Its also near a whole strip of restaurants so you can get walk there and get dinner and not wake up so early, breakfast is included too. Stayed twice and will again next time I visit Italy.

This was close to the airport, and the hotel provided a shuttle there for my wife and me at the 6:45 a.m. time we asked for at cost of 25 euros, which seemed reasonable. We were sorry to miss the included breakfast, which started at 7 a.m. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and had a queen-size bed. The room was small but adequate for two. The bathroom was small, but OK except that the shower was too cramped (as noted in the complaints section of this review).

The accordion doors to the small shower stall were of such a height and so arranged so that it was impossible to regulate the heat of the shower until one stepped into the shower, turned on the water, and became subject to whatever the prior temperature had been.

Its a smaller hotel/ more a B&B. Friendly atmosphere, clean and comfortable. They are close to airport and laundromat and bakery and restaurants within walking distance

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were very impressed with the quality of the breakfast. When we plan on returning to Rome we will book a stay here again!

Big room. Only two of us but there was an extra bed in room. Bathroom bigger than usual. Breakfast ok...the usual bread and cake and some fresh fruit. Helpful staff.25 euro shuttle airport service compared to minimum 35 Euro airport taxi. Avoid those if possible as it's a 6 to 10 min ride to the hotel. Lots of restaurants within 5 mins walk along the port area.

Well run family hotel with modern facilities and very helpful staff. The location in a leafy street was a nice surprise as was the selection of great value for money restaurants on the nearby canal. The breakfast was adequate and the shuttle from /to the airport was efficient

El Hotel Porto di Claudio nos sorprendió gratamente! El Hotel se encuentra literalmente a 5 minutos del aeropuerto, en una calle tranquila de Fiumicino. Es una elección PERFECTA si quieres descansar después de un largo vuelo o como en nuestro caso, tienes que coger un avión a primera hora de la mañana y quieres estar cerca del aeropuerto. El personal muy amable. La habitación muy limpia y amplia, incluso tenía un pequeño balcón. La cama muy cómoda y grande. En la misma calle y a pocos minutos de distancia a pie, tienes varias pizzerías muy buenas y un supermercado también. Si en algún momento volvemos a estar por Fiumicino, sin duda nos volvemos a quedar en Porto di Claudio.

Tutto....personale hotel gentilissimo, struttura nuova, moderna e pulitissima. Posizione perfetta a poco distanza da porticciolo e quindi da ristoranti e bar e da spiaggia. Colazione a buffet buona e varia. La camera molto curata con armadio comodo, mini bar un balcone spazioso e bagno dotato di tutti i confort. Veramente un ottima scoperta...sicuramente lo terrò presente per un nuovo soggiorno!!! Bravi!

The location was perfect. There's a ton of restaurants within walking distance and it's very close to the airport, making it a great location to stay before your flight. There's also a super market just a block away in case you need anything during your stay.

Nothing much to like about this small, out of the way hotel. Shuttle service — €25 for 2 — was on time and efficient.

Shower didn’t work properly, hot water was lukewarm, no body soap (dispenser empty), refrigerator did not keep food cold. Overall, this hotel should be avoided.

We really enjoyed our stay at Porto Di Claudio. The staff communicated with my husband and me before our arrival and were very accommodating throughout our stay. Booking the shuttle service from Rome Fiumicino Airport to the hotel and back to the airport the next morning was easy, and the price was very reasonable. Our double room was very spacious and meticulously clean. The hotel is also within walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket, and it’s just a short drive from the airport. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Fiumicino.

The air conditioning was ice-cold, which was fantastic in the August heat! Rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely balconies. Conveniently located near bus stops with direct connections to both Rome and the airport.

Despite informing the hotel of our arrival time, reception was completely unstaffed and we waited 30 minutes, which disrupted our tight schedule. Furthermore, their transport service is a total rip-off despite advertising 'lowest prices.' They quoted €40 for a 5-minute airport ride (we took a €4.50 bus for four instead). For our return from Rome, their original €80 quote suddenly jumped to €90 when we were ready to leave. We took a standard white city taxi back for €64.

Small and cozy hotel, which seems to be family-run. Very clean, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. You can really feel the care Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is typically Italian, which may be a little unusual for some guests. Personally, we would have liked a bit more variety and the option of a more continental-style breakfast.

We have stayed at this lovely family run 12 room hotel at least 5 times. We find it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a lovely evening beginning or ending our time in Italy. It is clean, central in Fumicino and the breakfast is perfect each day!!

They really care about the details and add extra touches that are not necessary but nice to have. It’s also very easy to reach the airport by taking bus number 8.

There was too much noise, which made it hard to sleep. The staff were not always available, and we had to wait for them. I also didn’t feel very safe there, although I can’t really explain why.

Clean and close to local restaurants. Rooms were airconditioned.

The walls were not soundproof inside and it was also a busy road outside. Not as close to the airport as we thought.

They were very communicative about pick up via WhatsApp, which made things so comfortable after an international trip. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and facilitated everything about our stay. The rooms had strong AC, which was great considering how hot it was and small fridge and a lovely balcony..

The staff were super helpful. Took us to the airport and back so many times.

The Hotel contacted me less than 24 hrs before my stay that they have an "electric problem" and that I should cancel. I told them they will need to rebook me in a comparable hotel in that case and magically their electric problem has been solved. Additionally they did not split the city tax and stay on the tax invoice which creates problems for my accountant when recording the invoice. Overall just a bunch of amateurs with no respect of other people's time.

The sound isolation was so poor that It felt like the neighbor’s shower was literally right next to our bed.

We needed a hotel in close proximity to the airport and this was acceptable for just that

We requested transport from the airport well in advance for a flight arriving around 9pm, to which we were told they had arranged someone to pick us up. We then arrived and waited 45 minutes with no one arriving. We then called the hotel to which we could immediately tell they had forgotten to arrange a lift for us. The person at the hotel then hurriedly sped to the airport where they then rushed us and complained when we couldn’t find them at the airport we had never been to before, which is ironic considering we had waited what was now over an hour for them to collect us. They then drove us rather recklessly back to the hotel.

We were refused the use of toilet in the lobby after checking out and while waiting for the arranged shuttle service to airport. In case you are demanded to pay in cash, including city tax and shuttle service, make sure that you are issued a receipt or else you would not be able to get one afterwards. Make sure you are paying the correct amount of city tax as advertised by the property in the booking.com.

the airport shuttle was very rapid. However, the charge for the shuttle is $30 each way.. Earlier I had read it was $10 USD, not $30 USD. ther is some street raffic noise.

There are no coffee facilities in the room and when the dining room is closed, you can't even ask to prepare yourself a drink. The breakfast is quite poor and needs improvement. Also, There is no iron in the hotel.
