Juste pour dire quelquechose…Pour acceder a notre chambre, notre bloc etait de l autre coté et pour sy rendre il fallait descendre quelques peu escaliers.. pas pratique si bagage lourd.

Soggiorno molto piacevole. Suite di alto livello con balcone sulla piscina. Spa migliorabile ma d'inverno sarà sicuramente al top come il resto dell'hotel. Staff molto simpatico e cortese. Un encomio speciale a Cinthya davvero solare, simpatica e precisa sul lavoro. A very pleasant stay. High-quality suite with a balcony overlooking the pool. The Spa could be improved, though in winter it will surely be top-notch, just like the rest of the hotel. Very friendly and courteous staff. La qualitat del menjar i també estaria bé una sala de jocs pels petits, ja que la majoria són famílies.

La piscina es grande y hay muchas hamacas. Los desayunos con mucha variedad y cocina en vivo. La limpieza es estupenda.

A destacar el personal del hotel, todo es conjunto han sido un amor! Especial atención Angel. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y cómodas!! La piscina era adecuada para todas las personas que estamos( el hotel estaba al completo). El pool bar daba de comer al medio día y todo muy rico! El desayuno y cena una gran variedad!! Y las tortugas del desayuno no teníamos suficiente 🤣! En general un 10! Para repetir

Lo que más nos gustó fue el personal. Especialmente los chicos del desayuno y del bar de la piscina. Mención especial a Antonio,Darío y la chica que hacía las tortillas en el desayuno. La zona también está muy bien. Hay restaurantes cerca y la playa cruzando la calle.

Las habitaciones y el hotel en general son bastante antiguas. Los horarios del desayuno y del bar de la piscina muy ajustados. El gimnasio muy pobre.

primero que siendo un hotel de 4 estrellas y por el precio no te dejen ni una botella de agua como en todos los hoteles . ni cepillo de dientes ni nada. en otros hoteles que e estado por la zona te dejan de todo y en la habitación al tener cocina te dan un kit con jabón y bayeta. aqui nada. nos cobraron a la llegado 2.70 por una botella de agua de 1.25ml llegamos a las 23h y al preguntar si había agua en la habitación nos dijeron que no. los precios del bar una burrada. la zona spa muy descuidada, fuimos ala piscina interior y estaba helada y sucia y las tumbonas sucias . el desayuno normal, el embutido parecía reseco y no tenia muy buen aspecto. la zona interior al tener maqueta estaba un poco sucia . creo q por el precio que cobran y ser un 4 estrellas podrían mejorar varios aspectos y tener un minimo de detalle como un agua de cortesía.

El spa no funcionaba, no había wifi, la comida dejaba mucho que desear. Falta de servicios. Dejadez en las instalaciones.

The only thing that I didn’t like were early cleaning noises. Everything else was perfect!

the room was comfy, you have plenty of space, the terraces are a huge bonus... the hotel is close to both of the beaches, and you have a free parking space

The toilet bowl cannot flush, you really have to wait a long time before you could flush it again, and there is a problem with the drainage in the shower.

Los horarios del comedor, la habitación era anticuada, el bufet repetitivo y la piscina muy pequeña

Snídaně i večeře vynikající, velký výběr všech druhů jídla, ovoce, zeleniny, sýrů i sladkostí. Kapacita jídelny je naprosto dostačující, v plné sezoně byla volná místa. To samé u bazénu, nikdy se nestalo, že by byla všechna lehátka obsazená. Výborně fungoval bazénový bar. K moři blízko, pláž písečná bez kamenů, ideál pro malé děti. Apartmány prostorné s možností spaní 4 osob. Personál milý, ochotný, stále usměvavý. Tělocvična s extra klimatizací, dobře vybavená. Zastávka autobusu před hotelem. Jeden z nejlepších hotelů, ve kterém jsme na Menorce bydleli.

Není co vytknout, snad jen chybějící dětské hřiště nebo herna v areálu hotelu pro děti hostů.

La tranquillità e l’equilibrio fra spazi verdi e hotel. Ottima colazione varie ed internazionale per tutti i palati e ottima cucina del Ristorante con un servizio adeguato ad un quattro stelle.

Nel bagno turco non era funzionante, la spa è stata un po’ deludente. Una cassaforte in camera è priva di serratura.

Einige Bereiche des Hotels (z.B Gänge) waren nicht klimatisiert und stickig. Die Dusche hatte einen schlechten Abfluss, sodass immer Sand/Haare steckenblieben und der Duschstrahl war sehr schwach.

El aire no funcionaba bien, lo dije en recepción y la solución fue subirme un ventilador. Limpieza un día si y otro no incluso avisando previamente. El agua de la ducha o muy fría o muy caliente, el spa tiene 4 salas y 3 no funcionan, el gimnasio es minúsculo y no hay mancuernas suficientes para entrenar mínimamente . Relación calidad precio de los peores hoteles que estuve, para no volver sin duda.

2nd year in a row to visit this beautiful Island and Hotel. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Cal'n Bosch harbour, and its lovely beach. The rooms are clean and of a good size ,we had a lovely corner room with pool view. The little kitchenette is only really suitable for basic food, ie preparing a sandwich, as little equipment but enough for our needs and in the hot weather having access to cold drinks from a fridge is really useful. We were on half board, with plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner, with items such as omelettes for breakfast and choice of fish or meat cooked to order. Always attentive friendly service particulary from Cynthia, Antonio and Jesus. The hotel pool is a good size , clean and just as importantly we were always able to get a sunlounger and parasol. The Spa is lovely , often having the pool to myself, unfortunately the steam and salt rooms were out of order. Overal a great choice and are about to book a return visit.

This hotel is fabulous, all the staff across the workforce are exceptional. We had the Bed & Breakfast option which was perfect for us and would often have lunch at the lovely pool side bar. We found the food, the room and the staff excellent and will certainly be returning. There are so many lovely restaurants around the marina that are not expensive. If your looking for an stressless chill in a fabulous hotel in a lovely location , people watching in the lovely marina bars then try this hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa et nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésiter. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Les installations (piscine, spa et animations) sont de grande qualité et ont largement contribué à la réussite de nos vacances. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe du restaurant. Le buffet en demi-pension est excellent, varié et renouvelé chaque jour. Souffrant de contraintes alimentaires pour raisons de santé, j’ai été particulièrement touchée par l’attention qui m’a été portée. Le chef est venu chaque jour s’assurer que je pouvais manger en toute sérénité et a toujours cherché des solutions adaptées. C’est une attention rare que nous avons énormément appréciée. Plus généralement, l’ensemble du personnel a été d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriant, professionnel et attentionné. Beaucoup ont pris le temps de discuter avec nous, en français ou en anglais, et de prendre de nos nouvelles. Nous nous sommes senties véritablement les bienvenues. Un grand merci également à la réception pour sa réactivité. Ma fille avait oublié ses AirPods dans les draps du lit et ils sont partis avec le linge lors du ménage. L’équipe a immédiatement pris le problème en charge et a tout mis en œuvre pour les retrouver. Grâce à leur implication, nous avons pu les récupérer.

Notre seule petite réserve concerne la responsable de salle qui a pris le relais après les trois premiers jours. Le premier responsable était particulièrement chaleureux, souriant et très professionnel. Sa remplaçante nous a semblé plus distante et un peu plus autoritaire dans sa manière de communiquer. Cela reste un détail qui n’enlève rien à l’excellente qualité de cet établissement.

Great location , 5 mins from Cala n bosch beach, marina, shops and restaurants. 10-15 mins from Xoriguer beach Great large pool and always free summers and parasols. Quieter hotel, just dining room and outdoor bar (indoor bar was not open) Large rooms, a bit tired but clean and suitable. Air conditioning not great, but it is working. Small Spa and gym, didn’t use and not everything was open but there should you need this facility. Staff were all lively and helpful. Would definitely return.

Muy cerca de la playa, el personal es muy agradable,simpático y atento. El desayuno es variado y ágil. La habitación, con vistas a la piscina, tiene un pequeño salón con cocina y un dormitorio amplio, además de una terraza con una mesa y 4 sillas, un pequeño tendedero y un balconcito en el dormitorio. La piscina tiene muchas tumbonas, siempre hay varias disponibles y se puede encontrar alguna zona de sombra bajo los árboles que la rodean. Permiten utilizar la piscina el día del check-out y te proporcionan toallas para ducharte después, y poder así ir fresco al aeropuerto. El aire acondicionado funciona bien y la ducha tiene una buena presión de agua. Aunque el parking es pequeño, no hemos tenido problema para encontrar sitio en la calle cerca del hotel.

Large pool with plenty of loungers. Big rooms but bathrooms need updating food ok but bit of the same after a few nights. Hotel badly lets it self down in the evening with no indoor bar or terrace area open. The only place to get a drink in the evening is in the snack bar. Who would sit there all evening ? Entertainment poor or virtually non existent. Do your self a favour and walk down to Valentin Star (Adults only) and watch there professional shows every night with waiter service to your table and cheaper

What a fantastic hotel! The staff were magnificent, so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean 100% of the time. We stayed in room 128 overlooking the pool. It was a massive family room with 2 soluble bedrooms both with en-suite. Excellent kitchen facilities and much needed air-conditioning. Housekeeping serviced our room every day. The bar staff were brilliant. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast was beautiful with so much choice. The location of the hotel is perfect. A stones throw from the beach and Marina. We will definitely be returning. 10/10. Could not fault anything!

SPA en panne partielle mais panne récurrente apparemment donc si vous choisissez cet hôtel pour ce service méfiance , la vétusté du mobilier et des chambres , c’est acceptable mais passer cet été il faudra revoir la catégorie d’étoiles, une porte d’appartement qui ne ferme pas ce n’est pas normal mais ça ne gêne personne, il faut être deux pour entrer ou sortir L’accueil au service restauration, c’est simple il faut quelqu’un de plus accueillant, désolé madame mais vous êtes trop strict dans votre relationnel au client , que vous fassiez bien votre travail c’est parfait mais il faut que le client se sente bien pas en stress , Henry et les autres au top par leurs gentillesse et attention

We had great stay for a week at the Macarena Suites & Spa Good location for beach, bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. We had a very spacious suite on the ground floor, with a terrace and pool view. - perfect. We were bed & breakfast, an d there was always plenty of choice of hot and cold food. Only very small issue (which I think has been mentioned previously) was the height of the non moveable shower attachment. We will happy return to the hotel again.

We have just come back from The Macarella Suites after a brilliat week's holiday.This was the 1st time we had been there and we absolutely loved it.The place was spotlessly clean,the staff were wonderful,always smiling and you got the impression they were happy in their work.The dining room choice for both breakfast and evening meals was vast and all well prepared.The show cooking area was a real winner for me,an omellete for breakfast every day,then a nicely cooked piece of meat at night.HEAVEN.The room was well cleaned every day which was a nice surprise.The location of the Hotel was good only 5 minutes walk from the Marina where there is a good choice of bars and restaraunts.The pool and pool area we really good Parasols bolted into the ground and a parasol for every 2 sun beds,also not allowed to reserve sun beds.I think without doubt best we have stayed in and God willing we will be back.

First of the staff made this hotel ,unfortunately that is where it ends.in our 2week stay the pool ,bar,outside areas apart from reception didn’t see any cleaning and after two weeks it was filthy.overflowing bins all around.the worst part was the dirty nappies in the bins and with the heat well I will leave that there,the breakfast was ok and I mean just ok .on to the room it was comfortable and the cleaning was ok apart from some mould in places.you have to understand this is a 4star hotel and wasn’t cheap In my opinion and it is only mine i wouldn’t recommend this hotel as have stayed in better 2/3 star hotels.as I stated in the start of this review the staff are a credit to this hotel . I know that a lot of people will disagree with this review but I can only say what I saw

Another visit to the Macarella - in our opinion this is magnificent accommodation - so spacious, very comfortable and clean. Immaculate, stunning, spacious pool area with lovely gardens and plenty of shade. Absolutely fantastic location with easy, convenient access to both beaches, the marina, shops, bus stops. Good walking etc. Brilliant staff - exceptionally hard working, friendly, courteous and helpful. Everyone on reception and Jesus & Henry in the restaurant are all exceptional. Reasonable food - not as good quality or variety as in previous years and it was bit repetitive every day however still something for everyone but disappointed that evidently the speciality evenings (Menorcan night and Gala Night) are no longer held. Regardless we had a lovely holiday in the perfect place for relaxing - so quiet - just perfect and we hope to return again next year.

First visit to this hotel and I can totally see why other reviewers return time after time. From start to finish the holiday was faultless, the suite we had was spotlessly clean and comfortable and very quiet, being down the side of the hotel facing a supermarket. The breakfast had so much choice, something for everyone, food was replenished regularly. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and sunshades available and free use of hotel towels. We enjoyed the pool bar which was well priced and served hot food until 3 pm. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position, being near the marina and the beach and with a bus stop nearby for the bus to Cuitadella. I would definitely return.

I’ve been coming to this hotel once or twice per year since 2012 am I’m so so sorry to have witnessed its steady decline. The absolute beating heart of this hotel are its staff, they are all absolute diamonds who remain totally loyal to the hotel even though their number has been virtually reduced to skeleton staff. They work so so hard and make every single guest feel very special. They are actually the reason for my ( and I suspect many others ) return visits. This year I was shocked that the bar salon and terrace is permanently closed, both the salt and Turkish steam rooms are permanently closed (it was just the salt room last year) A 75cent surcharge on the plastic cups to take a drink to the pool. Entertainment is on 3 nights per week (basically a scruffy musician playing an instrument). It is held at the pool bar (as the salon and terrace are closed) weather permitting. There is no air con at the pool bar so the poor bar staff are visibly melting!! There are no themed nights or gala dinners in the dining room any more. Still the staff absolutely bend over backwards for all guests. Cynthia, Antonio, Jesus, Desire, Henry, Dario, Sonia, Angel and the very cheeky Lucio all deserve special mention as do Monica and the girls on reception. Rooms are kept spotless, food is good and plentiful, the pool is lovely and the position and hotel grounds are fabulous. Sadly if it wasn’t for the staff, I would have given an honest 3stars. Come on Macarella/Grupotel/Tui bring back the 4 1/2 star standard this beautiful hotel and its staff thoroughly deserve!!!!

Good location just behind marina. Hotel in general was very good standard, staff were excellent, friendly and good workers. Room was nice but it was close to the staff entrance, deliveries and waste collections so some noise at odd hours. Hence only four stars. We were Bed & Breakfast and thought it good value and nice food.

To get to the reception there was a small flight of steps but even so it was hard taking a big heavy suitcase . The breakfast was lovely though for a 4 star the dinner buffet wasn’t wow . It was ok , nice and varied but nothing special .

Our first time at this hotel, Staff very welcoming and friendly, from the reception, through to restaurant, cleaning,pool attendants & bar staff. A big shout out to the staff at the pool bar who were always so cheerful, helpful & ready to serve, they all kept everyone’s drinks flowing and topped up, a special shout out to Sonia who made me the best Cafe Macchiatos. The hotel was a great location for us we only had breakfast( as we like to support the local businesses)at the hotel which was always topped up & replaced immediately with lots of various foods to eat , I’d be shocked if someone couldn’t find anything so much of everything ! A great location as near to local beaches, shops & restaurants, only downside is we have to go home Friday, We would definitely come back to this hotel on our next visit

The swimming pool was lovely and the room was nice.

Terrible experience from start to finish. I am mobility impaired and let the hotel know in advance but on arrival was told that our room was downstairs from reception. There was no parking space assigned and we were just told to "find one by the supermarket" which had a 30 minute time limit. There was no help or luggage cages avaialable so my 77 year old partner had to phyiscal carry 2 heavy cases up and down the stairs. I delibrately order a room with a bath as it helps my back problems but there were no grab bars to ease getting into the bath. The shower pressure was useless and water dribbled out. The air conditioning was poor and left both of us sweating and uncomfortable. The spa was nice but the steam room was out of order. When I complained to the reception staff and asked to speak to a manager, the staff pretended to not understand and no Manager was available

L'emplacement est top, proche de tout à pied : marina, restaurants, plages, supermarchés, location de voiture. Tout en étant calme. Le personnel est très agréable. La suite est spacieuse, les lits confortables. Piscine immense avec transats et parasols à volonté ! Difficile de partir le dernier jour...

Les équipements du logement sont un peu vétustes, notamment la douche, avec une marche dangereuse.

The hotel has an excellent location steps away from Cala Bosch and is very well maintained. The staff is super attentive and willing to help. The only thing we didnt like was the dinner buffet (food was not very good) but the rest was great. Spa is beatiful, pool is very nice and rooms very spacious with kitchen.

Our 4th visit to the Macarella and once again, a fabulous stay. The hotel is perfectly located just off the marina and the Cala en Bosch beach (both minutes walk away). The rooms are great, the food good (though not as exceptionally good as in the past) and the hotel facilities excellent but all surpassed by the absolutely fantastic staff. Simply the best! We had chosen an apartment with a pool view and it was exactly as we expected. A nice large space with a lounge area leading to a balcony overlooking the pool area. The kitchen area was more than adequate for any basic cooking. The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was large, although I was disappointed to see the showers over the bath, and separate shower unit still had fixed shower heads. I had noted in previous reviews that I couldn’t understand why they weren’t on sliding rails. They are fine if you’re tall, but if you’re short, not easy to reach! Surely an easy fix. One other small irritation was that the air conditioning was not working. Apparently not switched on centrally until June! There were certainly a few days when we would have appreciated it being available! The apartment was serviced daily - towels changed as and when requested. The outside pool is a lovely size and there are plenty of sunbeds and shades available. The poolside bar is excellent, serving drinks and lunchtime snacks. There is also an indoor pool within the Spa, though we didn’t use either. Beach towels are provided by reception upon arrival at the hotel and can be changed twice a week, at reception. The main restaurant is really well set up. The tables are well spread and it’s so good to see table linen still being used both at breakfast and dinner. The hotel had just opened for the season, and we were slightly disappointed overall with the variety, presentation and quality of the food provided. In fairness it did get better as our stay progressed, but in our view, it wasn’t up to the quality enjoyed in previous stays. There is also a very pleasant outside terrace which is available for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was very good. Live cooking of fresh eggs and omelettes, plenty of extras, fresh bread, juices, hams and cheeses and four coffee machines ensured a good start to the day! Dinner again provided plenty of choice on a buffet basis. There was live cooking of at least 2 meat and 2 fish dishes as well as plenty of vegetables and salads. 2 to 3 kitchen prepared meat and fish dishes were also available as were at least 2 different pizzas and 2 Italian pasta dishes. There was a selection of desserts, ice creams and cheeses to finish off your meal. Drinks were served and were reasonably priced. So plenty of choice but in our opinion, not to the quality of previous stays and we did note that there were too many times when food was not replenished at the buffet. We put that down to new kitchen staff getting up to speed. We thoroughly enjoyed another stay at Macarella and it’s a great hotel in a great location. However. Its biggest asset is its staff. They are wonderful and it was great to see staff again who’ve become friends - Sonia, Antonio, Angel and Desire, alongside new members Dario, Lucho, Leila and Alexia. What a team they make but extra special mention must be made of Cynthia and Jesus whose work rate and service was exceptional, as always. The hotel has a pair of diamonds in those two! So, another fabulous stay. Our only really negative comments would be that the air conditioning should have been available and that the staff, on times, were extremely stretched. Our visit was not a particularly busy time for the hotel so you would hope the hotel provides extra staff when the busy season arrives otherwise the existing staff will be burnt out! Thank you Macarella for another lovely stay - we look forward to returning next year.

Excellent location, close to the beach and marina. All staff extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and clean, we had a lovely view from the balcony. Fantastic family holiday and will definitely return.

I’ve just returned from what I can only describe as paradise. The rooms are spectacular and the views too, being so close to the harbour and beach then with the lighthouse further back it’s in a perfect location. Not to mention the surplus of palm trees! The pools were clean and well maintained, and the food was certainly a reason I’ll come back again! I went as a solo traveller and I felt very welcomed by the bar staff, Sonia and Angel especially went above and beyond. If you’re considering this place I highly recommend.

Struttura un po datata da ristrutturare, soprattutto i bagni in camera piccoli e con la vasca. Pressione dell’acqua molto bassa e set per la doccia da rivedere.

Muy lindo hotel, piscina amplia y esquisita para nada. Desayuno buffet amplio y variado. Las habitaciones y camas súper cómodas. Ubicación muy buena, a 2 cuadras de la cala y del puerto.

Cuando tiras la cadena del escusado demora bastante en volver a llenarse por lo que si la segunda persona tiene apuro en ir al baño debe esperar un ratito.

La limpieza de las habitaciones empieza a las 7, 7:30h y se oye bastante. La zona del spa es pequeñita y algún servicio no funcionaba.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful pool view room which had a very comfortable bed and lounge with a well supplied kitchen area. Everything was spotlessly clean. We ate breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant; huge selection of very tasty food. The pool was lovely and relaxing; never a problem getting sunbeds. Great location for pretty beach and marina with multiple bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We can’t wait to go back.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we were knocked out. Great room very clean and quiet. Restaurant was such an enjoyable experience with everything you would want from food to staff. I have noticed in other reviews people mentioned Cynthia and Jesus for there hard work, what a team. We will be back.

La experiencia fue genial. El desayuno era muy abundante y variado, todo el personal estaba atento para reponer lo que se iba terminando. Nos prepararon un desayuno temprano el día del check-out. El personal fue muy atento y amable en todo momento. Las instalaciones estaban realmente muy bien.

We have just returned from another stay at our favourite hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean and reception are always ready to help. The restaurant offers a great choice of food for breakfast and dinner there’s always something to enjoy, Cynthia has everything very organised, Cynthia, Jesus and the team really did look after us. Finally the rooms are kept very clean daily with a change of linen and towels when you need them. We can’t wait to return in September and see you all again.

It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and there is a local TUI rep at this hotel who had great knowledge of the island and helps with booking experience if needed. The restaurant is insane. We only had breakfast but the choice was on another level. Not sure what this hotel needs to do to get a 5*! Marina is 2 minutes away, beach is 2 minutes away. Most of the experiences the pick up is the bus stop just outside the hotel. Would definitely return here :)

Close to everything on offer. Beautiful hotel, perfect rooms, wonderful staff. The pool is amazing. The spa is very nice. The buffet is great. Everything is clean and well presented. The price is good. The bar is lovely.
