Very friendly and warm host family! It made my stay all the more meaningful and enjoyable! Everyone was so kind and hospitable even the family pets! The lady boss provides pickup and drop-off service on the house as well! Laundry service is available upon request at an affordable price and my clothes came back ironed, clean and smelling good! I miss you all so much already P Kibb! Please look no further and book Thongran’s House!

Nothing major in particular however our room was limited in space and there was no elevator so people who have mobility issues may want to take note of this. Everything else was perfect!

A friendly, welcoming and peaceful space in the old city, near to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The staff and owner are amazing and incredibly helpful. The whole place was spotlessly clean and my room was huge and welcoming after a long flight and 11pm arrival. I would thoroughly recommend and I’ve already booked in again for next month.

Absolutely the best place in Chiang Mai!!! Everything was perfect! Host is the most responsive and helpful person. We felt like home. Nice, cozy rooms, delicious breakfasts, any tour You think of is possible thanks to Ms Kibb. Unexpected gift in the end of the stay will be fantastic memory. I hope we will visit Thongran’s House really soon. This is „our” place in Chiang Mai. Thank You again for having us!!! We miss You already!

Die Gastgeberin und die Angestellten waren alle sehr zuvorkommend und haben sich steht’s um unser Wohl bemüht. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr lecker und reichlich😋. Als wir eine Tour gebucht hatten, haben wir satt dem Frühstück auch ein Lunch Paket mitbekommen. Als unser Abholservice für die Tour nicht kam, hat die Gastgeberin für uns nachgefragt und konnte die Thematik für uns klären. Die Unterkunft ist in jedem Fall zu empfehlen!

One of the best stays we ever had! Host is super lovely and helps you with everything. We had her picking us up at train station after sleeper train from Bangkok. Laundry service was punctual, affordable and good quality. Rooms always clean, staff helpful, beds comfy and nights quiet. Location can't be better really. If we ever return to Chiang Mai (and we will) we're returning to this hotel for sure. Didn't try their breakfast tho because there are plenty of options around the city.

Shower temperature is a bit funky to properly set, but it's like that everywhere in Thailand.

The staff was very helpful, the location is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The general experience was good but keep in mind that the hotel isn't new.

Our hostess Kibb! She is great, as well as the rest of the family and staff; they truly make you feel at home. And the room has all which is promissed, a good bed, good shower, sufficient power sockets and you can order a great breakfast! This was our second stay and we hope to come back!

The hosts are amazing! Kibb is super kind, very helpful and flexible. And she has the fluffiest co-hosts. The location is as central as possible, the room was really nice, and the bed so comfortable. We had an awesome breakfast (not included in the price), too.

This is my fifth time staying here, and once again it was excellent. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet quiet and comfortable. The hostess is an incredibly friendly and warm person, always helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, beautifully maintained, and comfortable. This has become my go-to place whenever I am in Chiang Mai, and I would not stay anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Super nettes Guesthouse. Große Zimmer, sauber und mit bequemen Betten. Fußläufig alles erreichbar. Wir wurden zum Schluss sogar zum Flughafen gefahren.

Dusche wurde maximal lauwarm, aber dafür war man anschließend wach😃

老闆人超好！租機車前往拜縣遊玩，回程因爲本間飯店沒房間了，下榻在附近另一間飯店，老闆一樣願意讓我們把行李寄放在他們這，回程取行李方便。如果要去比較不熟悉的地方，想要包套行程，老闆也都可以用流利的英語交流對話，是清邁一站式旅遊的首選住宿！大廳的貓貓狗狗也很可愛，住在清邁什麼也不做，看着可愛的貓貓狗狗放空，也是一種享受！明年肯定會再回來住！

This was our favorite accommodation so far in Thailand! The room was very quiet and clean and the location was perfect for wandering Chiang Mai. The owner, KiBB, and her family went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She assisted us with a lot of advice when asked, great map, transport to/from airport/bus, and tour bookings but gave us plenty of personal space. We loved her cats and dog too!

There is nothing we did not like! If you are looking for a fancy and impersonal hotel with buffet breakfast, this is not the place for you. We LOVED it and will be back.

Kibb and the rest of the staff are what makes this place feel like you’re staying with family in the best possible way. They are so friendly with picking you up and dropping you off at the airport. The room is so clean and comfortable. With so many nearby attractions is an easy walkable location. By far one of my favorite places I’ve stayed based on the hospitality, quality, and comfort. Chiang Mai is such a special place with so much charm and Thongran’s House exemplifies that. They put so much care into each guest and their home. They share Chiang Mai with each of their guest and why I would recommend anyone to stay here. Even upon our departure the staff have given us a small gift to remember our stay with a small letter to wish us safe travels.

Staying at Thongran's House has been an amazing experience. The hosts are wonderfull persons, taking care of all your needs (even without you demand for them). We stayed there 3 days with our 1 year old baby (who is really an as lovely as a noisy troublemaker) and we received a lot of help and comprehension from the staff. The room was super clean and the staff is cleaning it all the day, the position is perfect and you have quick access to the city, restaurants, markets, temples, ... whatever you may ask for in the wonderfull ity of Chang Mai. We are definitively look to stay here again when coming back to Chang Mai. Super recommended.

The house was in such convenient location, the driveway wall had a cute art mural painted on it. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying there.

Your room was big and clean and had everything I needed. And the hostess was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help.

The hotel itself is very comfortable and pretty, you feel right at home. But in addition to that the staff are the best - so kind and lovely. We really enjoyed that there were 2 cats and a dog as well! We will be staying here again because we loved it so much.

Thongran's House was located in the center of the Old Town, convenient to many restaurants and attractions. The room was comfortable and quiet. Just a few steps outside our door was the upstairs outdoor terrace. This is where breakfast was served. We took advantage of this option twice during our six night stay. We had multiple menu choices, and both meals that were served were excellent. (I especially enjoyed the pancakes with fresh fruit and honey.)

As many have mentioned, the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. We had two rooms for our family - they were next to each other, well equipped, and everything was very clean. The location is right in the center, but extremely quiet. We appreciated everything! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very cute, family-run boutique hotel (or BnB, whatever you want to call it). Super super clean. It has everything you need, staff is great and very helpful. The location is the true highlight, basically you are in the exact center of the old town, and everything (literally) is 10-15 min walking distance. If you don't have much time to spend in Chiang mai and therefore you want to be close to everything, this is the perfect place. Thanks again to the host, who let us leave the luggage before check-in and after check out, gave us extra towels for our elephant trip, and let us take a shower after we did our check out. Super super recommended!

We felt like home away from home! They had what we needed with all essentials, very clean room and fresh smelling bathroom. After each long day, it’s just very inviting and comfortable to settle in! ..And surprisingly, they provide a couple of glass bottled ozonated water daily! Which I think was something special, no PFAs! Ms. Kibb was very hospitable, started with a very personalized pick up service at the airport, made necessary arrangements with our activities during our stay and just pleasant and easy to talk to making suggestions exactly just as we wanted! Can’t ask for a better host!

This was my third stay at this hotel. As always, it's been an amazing experience. Kibb, the owner of the hotel, and her husband are amazing people. The hotel is very clean, the ambiance is wonderful, and the location is also excellent. This hotel is my favorite place for my wife and me in Chiang Mai. Kibb is very friendly and helpful. She even offered me free transport to the airport.

Excellent location, close to everything! Room and bathroom were large and very clean. The owner is so nice and always very helpful! I stayed for 6 nights and it was an excellent choice, I would definitely come back!

Truly wonderful and friendly staff. The inn is run by extremely thoughtful and polite staff who are happy to do everything possible to make your stay delightful. The location is great for walking all over the old city.

Spacious room with comfy bed. Very convenient location in the heart of the old city. The host family is super kind and helpful. When there was an issue in booking a van to Pai, the host lady helped us out so much. A cute kitty is a big plus!

We had an amazing stay at Thongran's House in Chiang Mai! The location was just perfect, centrally located with lots of fun restaurants, cafes, shopping and markets close by. Kibb and her family were wonderful, helpful, warm and friendly. We loved getting to know the cat and dog as well! And having breakfast each morning on the upper balcony was wonderful. The food was delicious and we loved hearing all the birds and sounds of the town around us while we ate. We were a family of eight adults and every one of us would absolutely return and stay here again! Kibb arranged airport pickup and drop offs for us, as well as a driver for a full-day outing we planned. The rooms were all very comfortable and spacious and clean. Super comfortable beds and great AC! We highly recommend staying here!

Great location in the middle of the historical center within a short walking distance to the most famous temples. There was a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The house itself was situated in a quiet small street. The room was clean and spacious.

The owner's cat bit me when I accidentaly stepped on her (the cat came to me from the back and I did not see her). The lady working on the reception immediately provided a desinfection which they stored in the big glass bottle and she showed me her own legs covered with several bites!!! The owner told us that it's not necessary to go to the hospital. But we went anyway and they immediately gave me the vaccination against tetanus, rabies (5 shots during a month) and antibiotics. Rabies are common in Thailand and animals can be infected even if they are vaccinated.

Great location & appreciated that the property wasn't directly on the street front, but was down a brief driveway away from the noise of the street.

Redan vid ankomst känner man sig varmt mottaget. Trots att jag kom tidigare var det inga problem att checka in direkt och under tiden det gjordes tog ena personalen väskan direkt upp på rummet. När jag väl var på rummet såg det kliniskt rent ut. Kan vara det renaste hotellet jag varit på. Inte en dammkorn någonstans. Rummet var inte särskilt stort men det räckte. Sängarna var stora och bekväma att sova på. I tillägg fick man två flaskor ozonbehandlat vatten varje dag. Dom verkade inte ha någon restaurang men det fanns en meny på rummet så man kunde få frukost serverad om man beställde en dag i förväg tror jag. Det fanns inte bord på mitt rum men när jag skulle sätta mig vid borden utanför så var hotellmanagern snabb med att säkerställa att jag hade allt jag behövde. Jag fick en duk på bordet och kuddar att sitta på. Hon jobbar väldigt hårt för att driva det lilla hotellet så bra som möjligt och förstår verkligen innebörden av service. Tack för den fantastiska servicen!

Excellent location and waking distance to several night markets and most visited temples. This is a family owned place with just a few rooms, so you feel at home with the privacy of a hotel. the staff is extremely kind and they will provide you anything you need to make your stay memorable. I will stay in this property next time I visit Chiang Mai. Also recommend for couples or families :)

The host Kibb was wonderful and so accommodating. She made sure we were comfortable and when the AC didn't work properly, she upgraded our room. It was easy to communicate with her as she was available at any time and made great recommendations for food and tours. The breakfast was wonderful and I am so happy we chose to stay here. I would come back in a heartbeat.

The only thing that would have made our stay better were softer beds.

침대도 수건도 모두 깔끔하고, 청결했습니다. 시장에서 망고를 사와서 칼과 접시등 부탁드렸는데 도마와 망고전용칼까지 챙겨주셨어요. 방은 복도를 향해 창이 나있에서 창문을 열진 못했지만, 아침일찍 외출하고 늦게 들어오기에 큰 불편함은 없었습니다. 이른 아침 짐보관도 흔쾌히 해주셨고. 2박이상은 공항 픽윕.드롭 서비스도 있는거 같아요. 예약시에 확인하시면 좋아요. 저는 체크아웃날이 공항가는 날이라 데려다 주셨는데. 축제로 막혀서 공항에 갈 수 있는 도로상황이 아니었는데, 사장님이 경찰에 얘기해서 다행히 잘 빠져나갈 수 있었습니다. 저렴한 금액으로 올드타운 한 가운데 이토록 좋은 위치에 깔끔한 숙소라면 혼자 여행하시는 분이거나, 여자분들끼리의 여행에도 안전하게 이용하실 수 있을거 같아요. 친절한 사장님의 안내와 배려가 감사한 공간입니다.

Everything perfect!

The hotel is very close to most things around Chiang Mai. Everything is within walking distance, or you can easily grab a red truck taxi or tuk tuk off the street. The rooms are modest, but Chiang Mai is a city to walk around and explore, so all that’s important is the beds are very comfortable. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Breakfast is extremely convenient and very tasty. 10/10 would stay again.

Fantastic location in the center of Chiang Mai old city. Convenient to restaurants, temples, city gate entrances with night markets and street food. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a decent sized bathroom. The owner, Kibb, could not have been nicer and was always available for questions or suggestions. She took care of airport transfers and offered to make reservations for spa time or sightseeing excursions. This was the most enjoyable stay I had while traveling through Thailand, and I can’t wait to stay here again on a return trip. Thanks for everything Kibb.

The owner was so kind.I was pretty ill when I got here and she really looked after me.This little budget hotel was the perfect place to rest and recover.Its in the heart of the old city but down a quiet little alley so it's really peaceful, no street noise at all.Theres a beautiful terrace and balcony with a beautiful view of the wat.A lot of beautiful plants, flowers and bird feeders.The bed was really comfortable and the water hot.Also they clean every day.You are close to a lot of great Thai and western restaurants.Just a really great place at a bargain price.She even gave me a ride to the airport!

If can't decide where to start... bullet list is the way to go 😁 - best location; just behind wat chedi luang, very near sunday market, massage and restos nearby - superb service; owner helped us with various things - airport transfer, resto/massage tips, city tour, market tips, laundry, train station transfer - more-than-what-you-paid-for-room; large comfy and clean room with big firm bed and plenty of pillows, enough room to stow/put your stuff, good a/c and hot shower - nice environment; quiet and relaxing with all the plants and trees around the property

This was our third time in this place. First, the guest woman is an amazing friendly, helpfull woman. After I asked if she can arrange a taxi to the airport, she offered us to drop us for free. Whatever you ask her, she is trying her best to arrange it for you. The rooms are very clean The location is amazing, nearby to everything. If you don't have your own transport, many things to see in Chiang Mai are in walking distance from the place. Also, you can borrow bicycles from the place for free. I really don't have anything negative to say about the place. Surely, our next time Chiang Mai this is again going to be our next stay

8/12〜14に宿泊しました。 場所は旧市街で、何処へ行くにも(ソンテウがすぐつかまる)便利な場所でした。 お部屋はとても清潔で可愛らしかったです。 シャワーの排水があまりよくありませんでしたが、それはタイなのでしょうがない！ ホテルは家族で経営されています。ご主人も奥さまもとても感じが良く、気遣いに溢れています。 洗濯ものが1キロ฿60でお願いできたのと、帰りの空港まで車を出して頂けたのが有難かったです。 奥さまはとても可愛いらしく、日本語勉強中とのこと。 また滞在したいホテルです！

The hotel was super clean. The room isnt big, but it has this big charm. I had a great night sleep. The owners are so nice and considered! You could ask them everything. A lot of the sight seeing spots arent that far from the hotel what makes it more easy to stay there. The shower was also nice! I really had my rest in this hotel. I would come back in the future. We wanten to extend our visit, but it was already fully booked.
