Lovely hotel, staff is very welcoming and helpful, spa is top level. Hotel's restaurant is also very good.

The hotel is located a bit outisde of the centre of Engelberg. There is a shuttle service that works until 6pm, if you dont have a car you will need to walk (25 min). Breakfast is good but lacks some more vegan options.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Besonders die beiden jungen Damen an der Rezeption Leonie und .... waren äußerst zuvorkommend. Ebenso Frau Trudy Feierabend macht im Service Frühstück einen tollen Job und ist immer zu einem lieben Gespräch bereit. Auch das dazugehörige Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Danke für den schönen Urlaub....

Etwas störend war teilweise die laute Geräuschkulisse im Poolbereich durch Kinder.... die auch vom Seitenrand in den Pool sprangen.

Wir waren begeistert. Alles war super schön. Was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat,war der Spa und Wellness Bereich.

We loved everything, literally everything. Room was spacious, clean, excellent bed, beautiful bathroom, nice balcony with amazing views. We had diner in the bistro, good meals, very tasty and very reasonable prices. Breakfast was great as well. The staff was very kind and helpful. The wellness area was very impressive: loads of sauna’s, not the typical “one sauna and oops it wasn’t switched on, so it might be cold” that you see in other hotels. Wellness is included in the rate, as is the pool (with morning swim for hotel guests at 7am - I had the pool for myself!). And the price was very competitive. Free bus running to the town centre and all the mountain lifts. So if you wanna visit this region: go there, without any doubt.

Uitstekend ontbijt. Zeer goede wellness faciliteiten om na pittige wandelingen te relaxen. Ik had een mooie kamer met balkon en geweldig uitzicht op de bergen.

Als avondeten een pizza bij het hotel genomen. Deze was kwalitatief veel minder goed, dan ik verwachtte bij zo een goed hotel.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Immer schön angerichtet und die Dame war sehr freundlich. Der Wellnessbereich war morgens immer am schönsten, da wir das ganze Schwimmbad alleine hatten. Saunabereich ausgesprochen traumhaft...

Das die Kinder nicht so auf den Gängen hin und her rennen, vor allem wenn man etwas ausruhen möchte.. An den Türen die Schilder haben gefehlt, wo darauf steht Zimmereinigung oder bitte nicht stören...

Found it quite expensive but I think I would still stay here again. Important to note is that last shuttle bus back leaves train station at 1756. Don't expect the shuttle into the evening.

Die Betten waren nicht so bequem und ein Spalt zwischen zwei zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, statt ein Doppelbett. Das ist aber wirklich das Einzige, was es auf hohem Niveau zu meckern gibt

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it 100%! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The spa is spacious, beautiful, and perfect for families. We especially loved that there was a toddler pool with a small slide, which our daughter really enjoyed. One of the sweetest surprises was that the hotel left a soft toy as a gift for our daughter. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more special. We also loved the adorable cow-themed towels for toddlers—they were such a cute detail! Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our family stay so enjoyable.

Staff were great, especially the lady running breakfast she was so kind and helpful Indoor pool area was just amazing 🥰 Bus stopped right outside which was so helpful and a shop inside that was so handy

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen, ist sehr Familienfreundlich. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, auch die Bademöglichkeit im Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wunderschöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten für Gross und Klein. Sehr schöner Spielplatz auf dem Camping.

Matratzen waren für uns eher zu weich.

Das Hotel ist etwas teuer für das schon eher ältere Gebäude. Es braucht dringend Insektengitter an den Fenstern.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig mit lokalen Produkten. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und informativ ( Frau Feierabend ) Das Felsenbad ideal zum Entspannen nach Aktivitäten. Personal im Allgemeinen sehr freundlich.

The sauna and pool area was clean. It was good but very limited saunas. The rooms were exceptionally clean but with old decor but we didnt mind. The mattress was so comfortable and I slept very well. The staff made our anniversary very special.

Die Angestellten machen hier den Unterschied. Das Personal war durchs Band sehr freundlich, trotz eines Buchungsfehlers unsererseits machten sie eine Änderung möglich. Auch beim Frühstücksbuffet kamen wir mit dem Gastro-Personal ins Gespräch, wirklich überaus nett. Dasselbe passierte uns im Restaurant, schon lange nicht mehr so herzlich bedient worden wie an diesem Abend. Das Zimmer war gross und gut beheizt, das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Saunalandschaft super nach der längeren Autofahrt. Das Hotel schien auch überaus Kinder- und Familienfreundlich zu sein und wirkte auf eine sehr positive Art lebendig.

Im Zimmer roch es etwas feucht, es schien jedoch sauber zu sein. Das Mobiliar und die Einrichtung sind alles andere als modern, jedoch ist mir das in den Skiferien auch nicht sooo wichtig. Das Hotel ist etwas ausserhalb des Dorfes, da wir mit dem Auto da waren kein Problem, sonst gibt es auch einen Bus.

Das Personal war super freundlich,Fruehstueck hervorragend ,alles dabei ausser kein ruehrei oder spiegelei nur am wochenende,Wellness bereich super mit vielen Saunen !!!!!!!!

Prachtige & ruime kamer. Erg mooi zwembad. Handig om een kleine winkel in het hotel te hebben. Mogelijkheid tot opladen van elektrische auto.

Prijs van diner in de bistro is extreem hoog (ca. € 30 voor een simpele en kleine pasta).

Lovely resort with spacious rooms and a fantastic indoor pool facility. Also, we arrived late from our flight and the receptionist waited for us until 10pm!

We asked for omlete / scrambled eggs for breakfast but it wasn't available, only hard boiled eggs

Excellent location. Shuttle bus passes frequently just outside the hotel.In 10 mins you'll be at Engelberg train station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room Very tidy and they clean it every day. Very worth every penny spent 😊

This property/Hotel is off the beaten path of Engelberg but that gives it a peaceful experience all the while, very easy to get to both the Ski Lift and Center of town both via free bus service with regular interval schedule. The breakfasts were excellent only exceeded by the warm and friendly hostess there each morning. As soon as I walked into the dining area the hostess offered me a Cappocino or similar immediately. Beautiful view of the Mountains while enjoying the breakfast selections. I found the decor of the Hotel very unique and well designed and detailed with a very mountainous yet upscale feel with very unique Swiss details. My room was spacious clean and very comfortable. The SPA is world class and luxurious. The Hotel owned restaurant across the street was delicious and the hostess very friendly and accommodating. I would go back to this Hotel in a heartbeat and in fact will go back in the future!

Most of the staff are really natural friendly. But sometimes some are friendly but you can feel that it’s not real.

Ist etwas ab vom Schuss (nicht nur negativ). Busverbindung ist gut, Busse am Abend wären praktisch.

Everything. It’s a very nice place in a beautiful location. The hotel itself is lovely, the room was a great size, and the spa was really nice. We also loved the kids’ playroom — such a great touch for families with little ones. Overall, it offers excellent value for families and we felt very comfortable during our stay.

Honestly, everything was great. We were aware that the hotel is a bit further from the centre, but the only small downside was walking back in the evening — the GPS directs you along the main road, which isn’t very pleasant when dark. During the day it’s absolutely fine, and this was just a very minor point. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wellness hat überzeugt. Die frei zugängliche Nacht Bar ist auch eine gute Idee.

Sehr sauberes und angenehmes Hotel. Ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer wurden gründlich gereinigt. Schöner SPA-Bereich. Wir haben uns schnell wohl gefühlt. Ob alleine, als Familie oder Paare, dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Kissen waren uns zu weich (kleine Füllmenge). Ansonsten alles perfekt!

Very organized. Reception staff go above and beyond to help. The spa and pool area is larger than average, very clean, and open for long hours. This was very important to us after a workout day in the mountains. Great additional lounges for relaxing with friends. Great play room if you are traveling with small children.

Breakfast was fresh but quite basic and a bit boring. The ski equipment changing room lacks seating benches. The restaurant across the street kept us waiting over an hour for our order - they explained the reason, but that long a wait is unacceptable.

Helpful staff, excellent restaurant and amazing spa and pool. Free Bus stops at door.

Der Wasserdruck der Duschbrause im Zimmer könnte ein wenig stärker sein. Es war nicht ganz einfach die langen Haare zu waschen.
